Placements: Placements begin in the 5th semester, and students must have no arrears and maintain a CGPA above 75% to be eligible. The selection process involves multiple levels. Internship opportunities are provided in the 5th semester as assignments, which students are required to complete. In the final year, students are assigned a project to present.
Placements: It's a government college so placement rate is not so good. The placement rate for undergraduate course is normally 66%. Job based internships are not provided but curriculum based internships are offered which play a pivotal role in enhancing practical skills and industry exposure.
Placements: No placement facility is there in the college. There is no place meant facility. None has come to recruit us. If they look. Through LinkedIn and others they find one but the college itself doesn't take any initiative to give us internship the roles actually depends upon the course.
Placements: Placement assistance is not available on campus. However, the college or departments will help us find internships that are related to your subject or field of study. In my course, only 25% of the students were selected for an internship at the Anthropological Survey of India in Kolkata. Most students in our course plan to continue their studies with research, a Ph.D., or a teaching career.
Placements: Bidhannagar College is one of the best colleges for studying Anthropology. With NEP, there is now the facility of pursuing an Hons degree along with research in the 4th year. Students from the Anthropology department are now doing research in different parts of the world. Some are affiliated with AnSI, a government body.
Placements: The college does not provide any kind of placement opportunities to students. The students are only helped by professors who get and share different types of opportunities with the students, but it is not quite helpful. A new career counseling cell has been formed, but for the proper functioning of the cell, it will take some time and effort.
Placements: Almost everyone in the batch gets placement if they want. Many highly reputed companies in the international market come to recruit cadets, such as Chevron, Shell, Nikam, Eagle Star, Fleet Management, Anglo Eastern, Synergy, Torm Tankers, Dyna Gas, etc. Approximately 240 out of 260 students get campus placements. Cadets from the 4th semester are eligible for placements, and lady cadets can sit for placements starting from the 2nd semester.
Placements: The college ensures placement training from the 3rd year onwards and has collaborated with a leading training organization to provide training for the students. Many internships are available, allowing students to select one of their choice, with stipends offered for some internships.
Placements: Students are engaged in the placement process throughout the 2-year program. Although many companies visit, the details are kept confidential by the faculty and placement team. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, while the lowest was around 2 LPA. The college boasts a 100% placement rate, and I started working right after completing my degree.
Placements: My college has one of the best placements in my state. In 2022, they had the most placements, and a large number of students got placed with good salaries. My college was also one of the 7 colleges in Kerala to be selected by TCS for placement. Overall, I think my college has good placement status.
Placements: *This college is essentially not about placements. Students mostly pursue higher studies after passing out. Students after passing out may pursue M.Sc. or Ph.D. More often, some companies may hire out as chemists or in industries related to Chemistry. But those are not placements essentially offered by our college.
Placements: After completing graduation, there are many career options available. You can become an anthropologist, archaeologist, or work in forensic departments. Additionally, you can appear for competitive exams or pursue further studies such as an M.Sc. or Ph.D. to gain deeper knowledge in a specific subject.
Placements: I don't have specific knowledge about this but the placement can differ from person to person as they choose what they want to do there have been hiring from institute like TCS and Anthropological Society of India and many others but there are also students who choose different path.
Placements: This is a government college; there is no particular campus for placement, but one can do an internship under ANSI. This internship programme is helpful as, after completing M.Sc., one can apply for NET and be a fellow research member of ANSI. This may pave the way for a career related to anthropology.
Placements: The placements cell was strong. All the faculty members trained the students for their interviews. Pre-placement practices were provided for the students. Many of my classmates got placed in much-reputed companies with good salary packages. Today, they are working as Wildlife rehabilitators, Conservationists, Semenologists, Production & Quality Control chemists, and Biological Laboratory technician.
Placements: In this college, the placement is good; there are students placed in this course. The placement percentage in this course is 70-80%. The highest package offered in this course is 7-10 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, with an average of 5 LPA. The students also get internship opportunities.
Placements: College does not have any placement department. The highest package is 6 LPA and average package is 3 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognigen, Accenture. Students does not get internship because college does not have placement department.
Placements: The highest salary package is 6 LPA and average salary is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, Goggle. Top roles are business analyst, product manager, content strategies. College don't have any placement cell so placed students percentage is varied about course.
Placements: The highest salary package is 6 LPA, the average package is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary is 2 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Aditya Birla Group, IBM, HDFC, Muthoot Finance, etc. There was no placement cell, so the percentage of placed students and internships varies. Top roles are finance and IT.
Placements: As a current year student in the B.Sc. (Hons) in Anthropology Programme at Bidhannagar College, I can attest that the placement scenario is promising. Approximately 70% of students in our batch secured placements in diverse sectors. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA. On average, the package range is 4.5 LPA. Around 40% of students secured internships.
