I am well satisfied with this college.
Placements: There is a high placement rate in our college, around 60%–70%. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and many more. The top roles offered in our college are system engineer and software engineer, and many more roles depend on the ability of the students. All the students placed have an average package of INR 3.5 LPA, and the maximum package may be INR 11–12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is admirable. It has two campuses, one for science and another for the arts. It provides good facilities with labs, Wi-Fi, an AC room, etc. The quality of amenities provided by our college is also good; for example, medical facilities, a canteen, sports and games, etc.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are very well qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is appreciated for being able to make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult, but it is more likely to depend on your study quality.
Other: I chose geography honors because I have been interested in this course since childhood. The best thing about this course is that it improves your soft skills, such as communication skills, problem-solving skills, and many more. I wish to improve the teaching style of the teachers. Teachers should be more friendly with the students. There are various events, fests, and functions that are celebrated at our college.

Good College. Good lecturers.
Placements: Programming jobs were offered to at least 10 percent of students in our course to our previous batch. Many upskilling courses are also held during which we get job- ready and helps us in increasing our chances for placement. Job fairs are also held to invite companies for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Above average hostel facilities and good Wi-Fi. Okay food quality. The warden is caring yet strict in the right places and Hostel is a great place to stay . The environment is also safe for students to live comfortably. The food is also quite tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and clear doubts. They also explain the topics clearly in an understandable manner. The semester exams are although quite difficult but the professors try to help you by giving regular assignments. It does prepare the student to see the world through the lens of Physics and also make them ready to take up occupations related to the subject of physics and also to take up higher studies.
Other: There are a lot of events and social programs held in our college wherein student participation is encouraged.

Satisfied with faculty teachers classrooms but truly dissatisfied with campusing.
Placements: 15% of our students get placed in our course. The companies offered like 1 LPA to 1.4 LPA. Tech Mahindra is one of the company which I remembered that came to hire, others are not that renowned one. Companies came barely, internships were the dream. Roles offered are Tele caller, content writer, BPO, no job roles related to our subject which the students completed.
Infrastructure: Labs had ac's but the systems/desktops were old CRT monitors. Some desktops had Windows XP. Library had lots of books and these made easy for a student to borrow books from there. Staffs are also helpful. I don't see any hostel facility, but I have heard about it.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. All the faculty members have their done PHD in in their own field. They are helpful. Teaching skills are no doubt well and good. The course curriculum does not make the students industry ready but this could give an idea about industry. If you attended all the class of respective teachers and takes note then you can easily pass semester exam.
Other: The subject i chose is booming from past few years that takes me here in my subject. There is no best thing about the course. It is normal nothing, not that great or nothing that bad.

One of the best colleges, within the State University.
Placements: Minimum 68% - 70% students get placed. Companies like TCS, and Wipro come for recruitment. Average package is about 3 LPA. B.A. passed students also get placed, which is rare in other colleges. Top role offered is system engineer.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Best part of the college is its library, which is well organised, covered with newspaper, has dept books and even story books. It also has clean and modern labs. Every year, the college organises a lot of events like annual programme, tech fest, science fair, annual sports etc., which makes our college life interesting.
Faculty: Teachers are great. They are helpful and friendly. Maximum teachers are Ph.D. holders, and their experience helps us to lead a great college life. My current course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry ready. Semester exams are moderate, and pass percentage is about 93-95%.

Our college has good faculty members.
Placements: The placement percentage of our college is almost 70%. The rest of them go for master's degrees and higher degrees. They can earn a higher salary. Top recruiting companies are Globsyn, IBM, Concentrix, CS, Cognizant, Genpact, Einpach, Wipro, Amazon, and CIT. The highest salary package offered is 2.52 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has two campuses. One for science and one for arts. They provide separate libraries. A laboratory is available in each department. The food served in the canteen on the science campus is better than the food served in the canteen on the arts campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have completed their master's degrees. They are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. They have a strict curriculum. They never promote unfair activities during exams and internal exams. Our batch manages to survive the whole semester.
Other: Many events and fests are held in our college, which allows us to expand our connection with 2nd campus students. They should help us to improve our communication skills. Our college had good placements in 2022.

Reviewing Barrackpore Rashtraguru Surendranath College.
Placements: Our college does not offer any placement or internship opportunities to the students. It's a general degree college that offers valuable and useful education that will be required for higher studies. The education offered were of high standard with all the amenities available to the students.
Infrastructure: There were classrooms with LED tubelights, benches, desks, audio-visual board with projector, blackboard, Wi-Fi, etc. There was a central library for all students to access various newspapers, articles, and journals. Our Zoology department also had a departmental library to access various books, journals, and encyclopedias. I had not availed any hostel facilities in my college.
Faculty: The faculty teachers in our department were highly qualified. There were six professors in our department. Four of them had completed their B.Sc. M.Sc. B.Ed Ph.D. degree and two of them had completed B.Sc. M.Sc. and B.Ed degree. There was one lab attendant in our department who had completed B.Sc. degree in Zoology. The teaching quality was very good by providing updated knowledge with surprise tests being taken after completion of every chapters. Yes, the course curriculum was relevant that consists of challenging and demanding topics to study and explore. Yes, it made the students industry ready because all the students significantly understood and apply relevant knowledge in the practical life.
Other: I had chosen this course because I have the passion and eager to know about the biological Science behind each topic. The best things about my course was to explore evolutionary studies, habitats of the ecological world, Science behind cell, physiological aspects, and many more. The things that I wish to improve is to teach the evolutionary patterns of animals and plants in a more detailed manner. The hierarchical classification need to taught in details. There was an annual fest conducted in the month of August for all the newly admitted students. I had participated in many social clubs like quiz club, sports club and theatre club. The whole campus was connected with free Wi-Fi accessible to all students. Many extracurricular activities like dance, art and craft, music, sports, academics, etc. Were held in our college. I had availed one scholarship provided by the Government of West Bengal. The name of the scholarship was Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM). The financial assistance was Rs. 60000 for three years.
