Overall, it is an average government college.

Placements: Very few students got placed that too in BPOs. The college took us to LPU only once, and rest of the time, the placement officer wasn't helpful. They should start giving guidance from the second year itself. I think more students will be placed in good companies.

It is a great place to make memories.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good, but it is like every other college. The best thing about the campus is they offer paid internships for their 6months training. But it will become better with time as Ghar Rozgar Yojna and many other government plans can be seen there.

Quite satisfied with the college infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements of our batch are quite good, and the senior batch had average placements. I think the students who had low percentages also got placed. The average salary package offered was 2.70 lacs per annum. Some companies visited the campus for placements, and the roles offered were consultants, data analysts, etc. The companies conduct exams, and those who pass will get an internship. The stipend offered is Rs. 5,000-10,000 per month and not more than that. The placement cell is quite efficient...

Good experience. We learn many new thing. Friendly environment.

Placements: The placements are average. There is good placement only in CSE and ECE branches. The faculty members and very helpful and they are seniors. Overall good experience. Fees are compatibility high as compare to other Government colleges. College is situated in the outer area near India-Pakistan border. That's decline the placement.

The Sonalika International Tractor Limited, Hoshiarpur, Emson Gears Ltd., Ludhiana, Metro tyers, Pepsico, etc., come here to hire students from this campus. The competitive exams, technical exams, and personal interview are conducted during the selection process.

BCET Gurdaspur has various stories about it and is a tremendous institute in Punjab

Placements: The placements in my college are average but overall, it is good. There are various companies that visited my college like Solatire, Infosys, TCS, Videocon, Indian Army and Tech Mahindra. The highest package offered was 9 lakhs per annum by Infosys to the computer science branch. But most of the students of my college took off-campus placements in companies like IBM, Oracle, etc.

Somewhat dissatisfied with faculty and placements.

Placements: The placement rate was not so high. Only a few companies came for the placement in our batch. In earlier batches, Infosys also used to come., but now, only two-three companies came. Mostly, CSE students were placed and the packages were also not very high at about 2-3 lacs maximum.

Beant College of Engineering - quality life.

Placements: The only area where Beant college lacks behind all other government colleges is in the sector of placements. The placements here are disheartening, there is hardly any student who is placed through campus placement procedure, as companies do not visit the campus for placements. Though last year and this year, 2 companies of information technology visited our campus and hired 4-5 students offering an average salary of 2.5 lakhs. Regarding internships, students are enrolled by their own link and e...

It’s a college with nice and intelligent teaching staff. But its placement officers need to do something in order to get their students placed. Infrastructure is not bad but could be better. Computer labs could have been better. Mechanical and ECE labs are very good.

It’s an awesome college with 70 acres of land. Principal Sir is too good and Biotech staff is awesome and cool. TPC is not that much great but still they are giving their best. Hostels are not up to the mark but internet facility is good and fast, both LAN and Wi-Fi. Nearby roaming places are Pandori Temple, Pathankot.

BCET is a government college with a large campus. It has hostel facility for boys and girls. Hostels contains mess, TV room, computer room. All hostels are fully Wi-Fi. Teachers are well qualified. The placement was average in the college. There are separate playgrounds for the sports activity and a government aided library where students can borrow books even for full semester. As a govt. college the lab equipment and workshop machines are very good. The faculty members are well experienced and qualified. It is a well reputed college in its area. Though some faculty members do not take the burden of taking their time and give students a proper lecture or take their classes on time as it is a govt. job. So overall it is a good college and my four year experience of graduating from this college was great. Hostels are overall average but the mess food is below average and...

College is fully packed with all engineering requirements and well qualified facilities. All extra curriculum activities required for development of engineering student were available, but location of college putting it somewhere backstage. Placements were almost negligible. Management is not supportive during placements. If this will improve it is best available campus in Punjab.
