It is the worst college. I request not to take admission into this college.

Placements: Only fake companies come to this college. They demand security money for the job. A company came to our college and cheated our classmates. They take security money for the job, but after depositing the money, no one gives a job. I suggest not to take admission into this college.

Good infrastructure but dissatisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: About 40% of students get placements in my course. Although many reputed companies like Byjus, Flipkart, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc recruit students from our college they are very less in numbers. Mainly sales jobs come in our course. The highest package offered till now is around 9 LPA and the lowest is around 2 LPA and the average is around 5 LPA. I would also like to mention that there are not many internships offered in our college. It's up to you, if you want to do an internship you will have...

I am dissatisfied due to teachers, low-grade infrastructural facilities and worst placements.

Placements: It is a waste of time to study in this college. Our college doesn't teach extra things and doesn't develop students and doesn't encourage them to explore something new. Even teachers are not that much educated. I suggest that if you are very passionate about pursuing engineering, then you must have to work hard to get admission in good colleges rather than a private college. Placements are the worst here as only BPOs visit and hire only a few students like 5 to 6 students.

Our college is not worthy for newcomers.

Placements: Out of 125 students, only 5 to 8 students got placed from our department. The salary offered was less than Rs. 15,000 per month. Capgemini was the only good company which visited the college. But still, no offer letters are given by the company. Our college doesn't provide any internships and vocational training programme. Students face a lot of problems during placements because they don't have internships.

Poor management, Faculty was average and placement was very poor.

Placements: Near about 15 to 20 percent students got placed and the average package was around 2 LPA, the highest package was 3 Lacs and no one got a single internship. Capgemini was the top company in my college which was offering 3.5 LPA for computer Science freshers and overall placement was the worst. Placement cell was not doing its job properly.

It is a fantastic college.

Placements: The college does not provide placements for students. The highest, lowest and average salary is not offered to the students. None of the companies visited our campus for placements. The college does not provide an internship for students.

Review of Bengal College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: I am not placed through the college. There is no discipline on the campus. The experience was very bad. There is no competitive environment to make you study. Only 2-3 software companies visited the college for placements.

It is not a very good college.

Placements: Our college has very poor placements, and only a quarter of students got placed. Even many of them got placed in startups. It is very common for students to go to tier-1 cities to search for jobs. Only two MNCs used to visit our college during our tenure for placements. Mostly, there will be pool campus recruitment in Kolkata. The placement scenario became worst this year.

Bengal College of Engineering and Technology had poor placements and faculty members.

Placements: The college used to have lots of placements before 2017, and now, only 38 students in the entire final year students got placement by TCS, which used to be above 100. Most of the companies that come here especially IT ones are new and don't have a good reputation, or they are too new. Literally, the placement cell is non-existent.

BCET - The faculty, administration and placements are good.

Placements: Only 6 students are placed in the final year. L&T is the single company where 6 of our friends got placed. This is the worst engineering college in West Bengal. CS and IT batch got placement from TCS and 1 or 2 more companies, but this is a nightmare college for core engineering departments.

Dissatisfied with the poor college facilities and placements.

Placements: The college invites some IT firms, but most of them are BPO companies. For core branches, there are very few companies, and that too pool campus. For the mechanical engineering students, there were only two companies namely Neometallics and Manlift Pvt LTD. Others companies like Asahi glass LTD were held in other nearby colleges for pool campusing. The highest salary package offer was from Byju ( 7.0 lacs per year ) after completion of training. Other companies offer package from 1.8 LPA to 3.5 ...

Bengal College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Few companies came with the motto of highering one-two people, training and placement officer tried to showcase that they want to bring good company and place the maximum number of people but its all bluff as they were concentrated only on the pool campus. Pool campus was organised, and students also went, and because of their merit, they also get success, but success didn't get changed into result because our training and placement officer did not bother for the same. They concentrated on incre...

Faculties are good but the teaching procedures are not good. Placement was not coming to this college as per I known about this college. Study materials are not sufficient provide by the college to the student. But the good thing is faculties are well behavior. But as per the study I don't prefer anyone to come this college if they want to study seriously.

I studied in Electronics and Instrumentation department. The faculty of the college was average but dedicated to giving the best of their knowledge. An equal weightage of 50% for internals and rest from the university exam that was conducted by WBUT was present. Extracurricular events like cricket and football tournaments were organized. Annual fest "Frisson2k" was well known in the Durgapur area because many celebrities and students from other colleges were invited to show their talents. Th...

Placement is very poor, only some software company comes to college. The college has comfortable classrooms. The professors are strict when it comes to academics and students are only permitted late admission up to five minutes post the commencement of the class. The college canteen offers a wide variety of food (both veg and non-veg) which are served on a daily basis (breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner). The college is usually visited by around 85-90 companies during its placement time...

The college is good but the faculty members are very bad. This college takes a very big amount of fine, like after payment of due date. They promised 100% placements but after admission, they told that there is no placement. The canteen is very bad, the HOD is very bad, the lab facility is also bad, and there is no wifi or any kind of internet connection here.

One of the worst colleges in the Durgapur region, managing committee is worst. College is for only business and there’s no campusing. Not a single core company visited the campus for placement during the year 2014-15. Only fake companies visit the campus for placement. TCS selects less than 35 students from our college while from other colleges; TCS selects more than 100 students.

Waste of money. Infrastructure should be good.

Placements: The college is only for the students who can study themselves. The college does not provide you anything. The facilities are not supportive. They just want attendance. They will give you number according to your attendance not by what you written in exam or the project you made.
