Review : Faculty improvement is needed; infrastructure is decent but lacks sufficient amenities.

Placements: Around 60-70% of placements occur every year. The highest package till now was 22.4 LPA in 2022, while the lowest was 2 LPA, with an average around 1-2 LPA. Top recruiters include sales companies like Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, etc. Internships are not pursued by many students due to insufficient college guidance, hence providing no perfect answers to this. There are no top roles; only sales companies have come for placements so far. Most placements are secured by students off-campus.

It's completely a bid on you!

Placements: The placement scenario in the context of companies approaching the college might sound decent, but there is no positive approach shown towards the students to help them grab the vast opportunities. The packages provided in technical fields are low to such an extent that they sometimes won't even be able to compensate your monthly spending. If you are the kind of student who is going to depend on the college for placements, just don't go to this college. Take your time, study hard, do well, and g...

The location of the college is very good.

Placements: Placements in our college are very poor. Only one or two companies visit our college are good, and we do not know the name of the rest of the companies that visit our college for placements. If any good companies visit our college, then the job profile is not good. I suggest you do not depend on college placements and try for an off-campus drive.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and good faculty members but they were not much experienced.

Placements: About 30% - 40%of the students got placed in 2019. An average salary package offered by the companies was 3 LPA. Our college did not provide internships. Students had to do it on your own. There is an institute nearby college called AICT which provides internship in various courses and also provide assistance in building projects.

Placements in Bengal College of Engineering and Technology are good.

Placements: Tech Mahindra and Wipro visit the college for campus recruitments. TVS visits to conduct an off-campus drive. Many of our friends got placed, and I got placed in Tech Mahindra. Some of my friends got placed in other companies, but most of the students were left unplaced. They did not get jobs and were forced to go for higher studies.
