BIBS Kolkata Courses & Fees 2025

Bengal Institute of Business Studies admissions are entrance based. The entrance exams include CAT/ XAT or MAT. Candidates who are eligible for apply can fill the application form available on the official website. Candidates can courier a completed forms with a Demand Draft of INR 700/- in the name of “Bengal Institute of Business Studies” payable at Kolkata, to the following address: Bengal Institute of Business Studies, 18D, Lake View Road, and Kolkata – 700029. 

XAT 2025 will be held on the first Sunday of January 2025, which is January 5. The exam date was officially announced by XLRI Jamshedpur on July 15, 2024. The announcement was made at the XATONLINE website. The exam will be held in 110 cities from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. The registration process will go on until December 10, 2024. Candidates are required to fill the online application form before the deadline to be eligible to appear for XAT 2025.

BIBS Kolkata is approved by the UGC, the Ministry of HRD, and the Government of India. Moreover, a regular full-time MBA programme is also affiliated with Vidyasagar University.  The institute is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Ministry of HRD, and the Government of India. BIBS Kolkata offers Management courses in various specialisations such as MBA in Business Management, Executive Management, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain Management, etc. 

For admission to Executive MBA or PGPEX course at BIBS Bangalore, candidates must pass graduation in the respective subjects from a recognised university in the year 2020 or before that. The final year students can also apply for the course. Further, it is mandatory for candidates to have one year of working experience at the time of applying for the course. 

Yes, BIBS Kolkata offers a two-year course of Executive MBA in Management, which is known as PGPEx. This course is affiliated to Vidyasagar University (VU). After the completion of the course, candidates are awarded the final degree by the VU. This programme is designed for the working professionals. Candidates can attend the weekend classes as per their convenience. To get admission to this course, a valid scores of either CAT/ MAT/ XAT or BIBSAT is must. The institute will also consider the score of PI round. 

Candidates must fulfill the fundamental eligibility requirements of having a Bachelors degree in any field from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points in order to be admitted to the MBA programme at BIBS Kolkata. There are usually several steps involved in the admissions process

Candidates must have a valid score on any state-level or national entrance test, such as the CMAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA or CAT. For those who have not taken these tests BIBS additionally offers an admission examination of its own.

Group Discussion & Personal Interview: To evaluate their communication abilities, leadership potential and business savvy shortlisted applicants based on entrance exam results are invited to participate in a group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) round.
