Absolutely satisfied with the faculty of the college. There are good placements inside the campus.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active. Out of 120 students, 80 students were placed from English honors last year in companies like TCS, KPMG, and Deloitte, but this doesn't mean there are high placements in our college every year. Around 80% of students are doing internships now from English courses, and I also did my internship at Maruti Suzuki, where I had to make a report on sales of the cars. Top roles offered include content writers, journalists, public relations officers, marketing executives, English teachers, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good for our department. We have ACs in all the classrooms, and also the classrooms are equipped with projects and microphones. We have Wi-Fi connection inside the campus, and we can access it through the password given by the college. We don't have a hostel, but the quality of food available in the canteen is superb. The prices are high, but the quality is good, and our canteen serves only veg food. Medical facilities are good, as all the floors of the college have first aid boxes. We have a sports arena in the college where we can play indoor games like chess, boxing, and ludo, and also we have a basketball court inside our college.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are really qualified and knowledgeable, and they are helpful too. The quality of teachers is better than in government colleges, and we have Google classrooms and WhatsApp groups; if we face any doubt, we just ask our professors there. The course curriculum is excellent as it provides analytical skills and deep knowledge to the students so that they can use it for their job interviews and can take part in extracurricular activities like debate, theater, etc. The semester exams are moderate, and one can clear it easily if he or she follows college notes. The pass percentage is 80-85%.
Other: I choose this course because I want to develop communication skills and analytical skills, and the best thing about my course is that it is comprehensive in nature and explores the historic period of literature through various poems, drama, and prose. I love my course, and everything is the best here. Umang is the biggest event of our college where several colleges take part through various events. One can get a scholarship if he or she maintains over 80% in the semesters through the government scheme.

It is the best college in Kolkata for studies as well as for extracurricular activities.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our department is low compared to others. One of the main reasons for this low placement rate is that most students prepare for competitive exams like UPSC and State PCS, while some students only take placements from the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is amazing. Classrooms are fully furnished with high-quality benches and are equipped with four air-conditioners in a single room. Washrooms are neat, and the water is clean and tidy. The library has all the books that are needed and is equipped with 10-12 computers that any student can access.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly trained in their respective departments. They are very humble and helpful, providing us with notes, extra materials, question papers, and much more. Students feel at home and are taught by faculty member who is like a mother in the classroom.
Other: I chose this course for my WBCS exam. It will help me with it.

    Great opportunities to the students.
Placements: Average numbers of students get placements at our college. 30-40% students get campus placements from the college. Average package offered in our course range between 2-5lpa. Top recruiters were from the media houses. Top roles offered were journalists, researchers, speaker etc.
Infrastructure: Our college is one of the top college for the B.A. in journalism. Our college provides all types of facilities to the students for their academics developments. The quality of this offered facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library was good. College also has a canteen inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers at our college offers good quality education to the students. They were qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers focus on the developments of the students academics. Course curriculum was relevant and constantly updated. Exams were not very easy to pass.

    The Complete Bhaggu Experience
Placements: B.com placement is highest with above 62% Chartered Accountant, and the biggest advantage goes to students from commerce or economics background. But the English faculty is also amazing and so is the Science faculty. The teachers and peers are very helpful.
Infrastructure: Excellent faculty, centralized air conditioning but no hostel. There is a lack of open space but there are well maintained hallways, rooms for men and women, privacy, big classrooms, innovative teaching and the labs and auditorium balls are too classy and well maintained.
Faculty: The semester exams depend upon the CU curriculum but the college does its best to guide and help the students. They are very lenient on attendance and internal marks, and the tutorial marks are awarded very gracefully. As for the exams, the teachers do their best to help students.
Other: The people are epic but there are some idiots. The teachers and staff are amazing and helpful, and the students range from helpful seniors to rowdy gym goers.

Our College Review for improving Our College.
Placements: So, our college is one of the best in Kolkata and India, and it's very famous for events, especially the Umang event. The placement percentage for my course is 100%. The minimum package was about 28,000, and approximately 36,000, along with admission fees. Many companies recruited from our college, like Red FM, Wipro, and others. In our college, 90% of students got internships with Wipro and Red FM. There are many courses offered and roles available.
Infrastructure: The facilities are excellent, including the infrastructure, hostel, library, and classrooms. The quality of food is also great; we have the best canteen ever. The food is vegetarian but comes in a variety and is well-portioned. Sports and games are also top-notch.
Faculty: In our college, the teachers are very helpful, well-educated, and well-mannered. Their knowledge and skills are impressive. They teach every subject in detail to ensure that every student learns effectively. Their teaching quality is exceptional. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for a better future. However, the exams can be difficult because we are affiliated with Calcutta University, which has tough papers, and there are many exams in each semester. The pass percentage in this college is above 30%.
Other: I chose this college for my B.A. in Political Science honors because I have had an interest in politics since my school days in classes 11 and 12. I love politics and enjoy debating, which is why I chose this path. The best part of this course is that we have so much to learn about amazing facts regarding politics. Our college is continuously improving, and I have no complaints. The events and campus activities are outstanding.

An insight into Bhawanipur Education Society College.
Placements: Students have to score a minimum of 80% and above for admission into this college. There aren't any placement opportunities for my course but placements are provided to students from B.Com backgrounds. Wipro and TCS do come for campusing in our college but that is not for English Hons students. With full Probability it is for students from B.Com. And BBA major. You have to hunt for jobs in your desired field if you wish to earn. Placements are barely provided for students from English backgrounds. You need to earn and fend for yourself to get the desired jobs.
Infrastructure: The entire classroom is air conditioned. The libraries are well decorated and maintained. And the faculty is undoubtedly quite strong in our field, of course. We do not have Wi-Fi for students. As I was a residential student, I was not aware of the hostel facilities of my college, but I do not think the college has any hostel facilities. There is a canteen in our college but the menu is based on vegetarian items. And there is an infirmary that provides only primary help, not for anything serious. The college has a sports arena for indoor sports and there is a basketball court for outdoor sports which is used for Kabbadi and other games as well.
Faculty: The teachers are only helpful to students who are regulars in their classes. They are well qualified and do hold a varied essence of knowledge. The quality of teaching was also really great. The English major course gives you a critical understanding of language so it is very important to take the classes seriously. You can look for jobs in printing, editing, content writing, critical writing, public relations and others. The semester exams were really difficult. It's very hard to score marks since Calcutta University doesn't provide us with good marks unless you write answers with pure dedication. You also have to maintain a minimum of 75% of attendance to get enough marks in your internals.
Other: I always loved English . and I didn't think of any other subject beyond literature in English . A bit of industrial and corporate training would do much better. Getting an insight into it really would be beneficial for students from our field. There are huge events organized throughout the year but the best of all is UMANG, which goes on for days in the month of December. There aren't many scholarship scheme. The college provides a good lot of opportunities for extracurricular activities.
