Great college with good facilities.
Placements: In general, JMC students don't get placed after graduation; they go to higher education, like masters. In master's, they get help from faculty members. But if you want to work, you will get less amount in income but you will get good experience and real-time knowledge. The average package is 300000-400000.
Infrastructure: Library classes are perfect and comfortable with smart technology. Lab has a decent system and you can get access to many software programs, mostly paid but free, like Quark Express and Premier Pro. The library is also great with most of the books, where you can access games.
Faculty: Faculty members are great; they have real-time experience in the field. All professors are knowledgeable in their own field and very friendly, which helps in the curriculum. You can access them; they will provide help anyhow. Overall, there is good college faculty and you can join in to have a great experience.
Other: Non-academic activities are very popular in this college, which you can get into collectively, like drama, dance, art, writing, music, fashion and all. Fest is also very famous in Umang.

About fests, our college is very renowned in whole Kolkata. Almost every month there are 2-3 fests either conducted by the college authority or the students or any specific department itself. Extracurricular activities such as dance, music, acting, NCC, NSS, many more are there. Workshops are held frequently. Celebrities are called in fests, and even actors come to our college for their film promotions.
