The college provides really good infrastructure and good exposure to events.

Placements: I have not been part of placements. But my batchmates were part of it. Some good companies visit the campus for recruitment. There are live project opportunities for students to learn about the industry. Roles of management trainee, account manager, and several others were offered.

We don't have the best placements or faculty, but we have the best extracurricular activities.

Placements: The college did not provide proper placements or placement guarantee during my tenure. Two companies visited the campus for placements of under graduation students. One was a broking company that offered a salary of Rs. 35,000 per month to the students with performance-based incentives while another one was Indigo.

It is a reputed and decent college for BBA.

Placements: Most of the companies were invited by the HOD, and some by the college authority. Companies were well balanced for both marketing and finance streams. Few of the companies were ITC, HDFC Bank, etc., that visited the campus for placements.

Overall, my experience in the college was good. It has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Regarding internships, I got placed in Ambuja Neotia Hospitality Sector, i.e., Raichak on Ganges. Duration of the internship was three months under marketing division. My overall work experience was good. Other students got internships in companies like Laopala, Edelweiss and Asain Paints.

A good college for BBA under Calcutta University.

Placements: During my tenure, the college doesn't have a placement cell, but the college has provided internships which were unpaid. Some of the students had to find it on their own. If you perform well in the internship, they provide you with a job. Now, the college has launched a placement cell, and reputed companies are visiting the campus for placements.

This college is not recommended for the B.A course.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. No placement opportunities were provided for our batch and none of our previous batches. However, they introduced a new placement cell this year. But during our time, they neither provided any placement opportunities nor any internships. We had to search for our own internships.

The college provides good internships and placements.

Placements: Approximately 50-60% of the students got placed from college. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the highest is Rs. 60,000 per month. Companies like TCS, KPMG and PWC visited our college. Around 50% of the students got internships from college, and the stipend offered ranged from 5,000 to 20,000 bucks per month.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and faculty members but dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. There is a placement cell in the college headed by a teacher who helps students to get placed. The salary packages offered by the companies that visited the campus are quite feasible. The reputed companies of Kolkata visit the campus to recruit the students.

Satisfied with the faculty and teaching quality, but the placements are very poor.

Placements: There are no placements, it's all hyped about it. The college does have a source, but the staff do not help the students on their own. They have to be kept telling, then only they will provide placement assistance. They don't work for placements.

Review of BESC - The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. There is also a placement coordinator who coordinates between the companies and students. Students were happy with the job opportunity they got. They were the point of contact for everyone in the college.

Good Faculty and good internship opportunities.

Placements: The placements are quite good. Being a B.Com graduate affiliated to the university of Calcutta, the packages which are offered by the companies coming to recruit from college is quite feasible. The college also offers free Tally Classes for the students and also helps them to get internships at various places. There is also a placement cell headed by a teacher who completely looks after the placements of the college.

Overall, we have the best faculty for the B.Com course all over Kolkata.

Placements: The reputation of this college is itself enough to achieve great placement numbers. Our college organises various events related to placement on a regular basis so that students get to know about the job offers and even to showcase their inner and hidden talent, which might not have been possible if the college hadn't organised such events.

The infrastructure and placements are great, but the management is not serious regarding classes.

Placements: Placements were good for our batch and also our senior batch. Sadly, not everyone could take up this opportunity because most of the students are in the myth that the college placements are not good. But to be honest, good companies like HSBC and Ernst & Young visited the college for recruitment with good salary packages.

Review of BESC - The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

Placements: Placements have been great from the past as the college provides an opportunity for every individual to explore and get themselves a right beginning of their career. Many companies visit the campus and recruit many job aspirants. Deloitte and PWC are some of those companies which give an opportunity to many students.

I am dissatisfied with the placement but satisfied with the infrastructure and teachers.

Placements: Placements are average in our college. Many reputed companies like Indigo, HSBC, TCS visit our college, but very few students are selected. Many small companies also visit our college, but they even choose very few students. There is no guarantee of 100% placements in the college.

Bhawanipur is a college where you can learn, enjoy and develop your personality.

Placements: Placements are up to the mark. I am not sure about it because I am in the 1st year. I heard from my seniors that the placements are good. It also depends on your performance in the interview.

Overall, I had a good experience here.

Placements: A lot of placement opportunities were provided in our college as some of the top-notch companies in India have visited our campus for placements. The placement opportunities are provided to all the third year students. Seminars are also held where the important skills and concepts like the methods to get a job are taught.

I had a satisfactory college life experience.

Placements: There is a dedicated placement cell that looks after placements in the college. During my graduation, E&Y was the only significant company which visited the college for placements. Most of the students have family businesses, and they tend to continue it. Industrial internships are not directly available, but teachers help students to find one. The average stipend offered ranges from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 5,000 per month.
