Placements: Placements were decent in college. The highest salary package offered was 7.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Roles like an executive manager, analyst were offered to students. Around 60% of the students got placed, and most of the companies were happy with students response.
Placements: The placements of my college are very good and well-known companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., comes here for recruitment. On an average student gets a minimum package of Rs. 15000 monthly, as per the economy and the degree, people can't expect more than Rs.R 15000-Rs. 25000 per annum with BBA degree.
Placements: I am the ongoing 3rd year 2018 batch student. The placement isn't sure. They don't guarantee any placement. Many are unaware of the placement if it at all happens. Chances for placement are less for B.Com students. Students are not known if college provides.
Placements: According to the college records, around 35 students are placed every year from B.Sc. Economics Hons batch. Specifically, students were offered in MNCs as a statistician and in the finance sector. Once, there were around 60% students placed. I am looking forward to getting into good MNCs.
Placements: The placement cell is decent if you are regular to class. Getting an internship is easy, and mostly all the students get the internship through the placement cell. Commonly ITC, Berger, La Opala are the regular recruiters. The placement cell works hard to get the people placed.
Placements: For 2017-18 batch, two times colleges have provided the opportunity for the students for the placement, and the batch is not even over yet. It's expected that more opportunities for the placement will be provided later this year. The criteria for the placements has not kept too tough.
Placements: There are above 70% placements from our college. It is the second biggest college in Calcutta after St Xavier college. It has a wide scope of expansion, and Calcutta's top firms like PWC and other firms come to our college for placements.
Placements: The placements are very good here. Basically, top companies from management and financial background come here to hire the students. There will be a lot of new startups that come here and hire the employees. The college will also help in all the possible ways to search the right job, but to find the best job we need to do a professional course too and then only the college placements would be actually worth.
Placements: We get the placements in very good companies. The students who passed with first class results, i.e. above 60% gets the better placements. Many big companies like Google and Microsoft visited the campus. Different roles are offered to the different students according to their skills.
Placements: The placement was very good. A lot of companies from different sectors visited for placements. About 15% of the candidates got placed. The average salary offered was about Rs. 13,000 per month for the graduate students. The companies like Wipro, Airtel etc. visited the college and many students got satisfied with the companies.
Placements: The previous year batch did not get the placements as it is difficult to get a job after getting a B.Sc. done, especially from our college, which is more commerce-oriented. In fact, only 3-4 students have passed with the honours from a particular batch. The highest percentage secured by a physics honours student from the previous batch was probably 60%, which is decent at Calcutta University.
Placements: The placements for our batch was not good. Only Ernst and Young and TCS were the two companies which came to our campus, but now, the placements improved a lot. The companies like IBM, AXIS Bank, Airtel, ICICI Bank, WIPRO, etc., have started to come for placement. The roles offered to the students are associate, assistant, and relationship manager.
Placements: My batch's placement percentage of the students is around 5%. There is a placement cell in the college. The highest package amount offered is approximately Rs. 15,000 per month, while the lowest package amount offered is approximately Rs. 6,000 per month. The companies do come to the campus but do not provide the placements in a large amount. The packages offered were also not good enough. Many big companies like TCS, etc., came to the campus but the packages were not satisfactory.
Placements: The campus placements do take place in this college. The companies like EY, TCS comes to recruit students. I cracked TCS, was not present on the day of EY recruitment. The average package amounts to around 1.8 LPA (TCS) whereas EY offered 3.3l (Gurgaon). I didn't go for TCS. Currently, I am working at Zerodha and bagging a 4 LPA. Overall placement cell is well-organised. If you have a good rapport in college, you can make it to any one of the MNC.
Placements: The college has a good placement cell with good packages. The companies like Just Dial, ITC come to offer jobs. Overall, a good record of placements till now. The placements could be more nice in the near future. It's good to see the college providing nice placement to students irrespective of degrees.
Placements: I don't know the exact number that how many companies visited but it is around 15-20, and the average salary offered is 3-4 LPA and as it is b.com course, so there is no internship required, but around 40-50 students were placed with a good salary. Bhawanipur college is one of the best college in south kolkata. Here the brand matters the most. After st.xaviers college , Bhawanipur college plays the most important role in the placements. Every year more than 50 students placed because of its cons...
Placements: BESC has a high placement record. Students have been placed in companies like IBM, ITC, Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Citi, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, TCS, Vodafone India and much more. More than 40% of students go to pursue CA and CS. More than half of them are successful businessmen. Our batch has not undergone the placement session yet but there are big opportunities for career in the college. Different job roles like manager, developer, salesperson, etc. are offered during ...
Placements: There are no placements after completion of B.Com. Most students usually pursue further studies such as CA, M.Com, MBA, etc. Placements are there for courses such as BBA and a few others. There were plenty of people who got internships after leaving the college. The college definitely has a lot of exposure because of its yearly social festivals. Plus it is located in the heart of the city.
Placements: The companies related to the BFSI sector had turned up in numbers like RBS, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, Goldman Sachs, etc. As 50 percent of the students are entrepreneurs, they do not opt for placements, while the 90 percent of the remaining students are placed. The placement scenario is good as majority of the students are placed. The highest salary is around 8 lacs and the lowest salary is around 4 lacs.
Placements: The placement cell in our college was very active. They brought many companies for campus selection. The students who sat for the interview cracked almost each interview. The students got a very decent package. The placement cell trained the students for the selection process.
