I'm satisfied because of good teachers but dissatisfied with the improper setup of labs.
Placements: There were around 60 students in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Parle G, Pepsico, Britannia, etc., visit here. Only 20% of students got internships from our course in Mother Dairy, VITA and Pepsico. Students can be a quality controller, food technologist, production manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities were good here, and the infrastructure was average. Classrooms were good, but the condition of the labs was very bad as they didn't have the proper equipment. So it should be improved. Some of the equipment doesn't work, so it should also be improved.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful. They are qualified as they had done PhD from good colleges. The course is curriculum relevant, and it also makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are average and not much difficult. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I like this course because I love food, and nobody can survive without food. So I think it is the best thing about my course. I will try to improve more practical work in this course. Events are organised twice a year in our college, and they are Techno Fest, etc. There are also many curricular activities like quiz competitions, poster competitions, etc. Many sports are also conducted like basketball, badminton, cricket, kabaddi, lawn tennis, etc.

I am dissatisfied with placements promise, but food technology department has great teachers.
Placements: Placements are not provided by the college for food technology even though we were promised for placements at the time of admission. Most of the students got an internship on their own, and some of them were recommended by our HOD and other faculty members.
Infrastructure: Labs are equipped with all essential apparatus and instruments. Classrooms and library are well provided. Wi-Fi is only available for hostel students. Quality of food in the mess and canteen is average, but medical facilities are good. Indoor and outdoor sports and games are held by the college, and to encourage students for sports, they provide awards.
Faculty: Faculty members of the food technology department are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and friendly. The course curriculum is highly relevant.

Good faculty, Average facility and average mess food.
Placements: Almost 70 percent of students were placed in our course as per the college. The highest package offered was 12 LPA and the lowest package offered was 6 LPA in my course, which is food technology. Top recruiting companies are Britannia, Aanchal Dairy, etc. Almost 70 percent of students got internships in different food industries. Top roles offered in my course are quality tester, researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: There are around 88 labs in our college. We perform different practicals. Teachers of our department are very polite and helpful! We do have a library which contains all the books we need for our studies so there is no need to buy any books! The hostel facilities are very good initially but now they are not giving full focus on complaints, but they try their best to resolve our problems. Mess food is average in taste. Canteen is also available from 9 am to 9 pm.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They help us in every condition. All teachers are qualified and have a lot of knowledge. They provide high-quality notes. Our course curriculum prepares students industry-ready to help them grow and gain knowledge. The semester exams are of average level. Not hard, not too easy!
Other: We have indoor stadium for sports where tournaments are also organised. We do get scholarship based on our 12th percentage.

We had full of enjoyment in BFIT. I like it the most because it gives friendly environment.
Placements: The overall placements in our college are very good for B.Sc Food technology. In all courses, the placements are superb. The reputed companies like Hindustan Times, Amul Dairy give the golden opportunities for the students. Join in this college and give your best. About 40% of the students got placements.
Infrastructure: Our college is one of the best colleges in Uttarakhand. Our college has very good labs. We have high-quality classrooms, practical labs, and a library in our college. Every year, our colleges organise the sports fest like Techno Jashn, where all the student in our college, as well as some other colleges, take part in this. They give their best.
Faculty: Our college offers many courses like B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Food Technology, Forestry, Microbiology, B.Sc. PCM, and Hotel management. The teachers give extra support to the students. All the faculty members are highly educated and highly skilled. They are always ready to help the students.
Other: There are more than 10000 students in our college. Techno fest and Sports are organised in a very good manner. Our college has developed a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and sports.

The best part of the college - they are developing continuously and improving all demerits.
Placements: The placements for bachelors are not good. But, the faculty members help in your placements in Coke India, some dairy, etc. If you have some training certificate or diploma, you'll get a job of Rs. 10,000 -15,0000 per month. The seniors got placement in the different MNCs of food department like Cadbury, Nestle, and Britannia.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms and the labs are well-maintained. Other facilities are also available for the sports room, medical facilities 24*7, gym, and the cafeteria of the college is nice. The canteen provides all the useful products for the students. All over infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The faculty members of the food technology department are helpful. Highly qualified faculty members and most of them are PhD. Smart classrooms with the projector, big seminar halls are available for the seminars and debate. Some faculty members are not good, but overall they are knowledgeable enough.
Other: The fest and events of BFIT college are best among all the colleges of Dehradun. The behaviour of directors and other staff members are nice to the students.
