Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of what they had to say:

Pros:

* Good infrastructure: The campus has a vast green space, modern classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. The hostel facilities are also comfortable, with clean and well-maintained rooms and messes.
* Helpful teachers: Faculty members are well-experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive. They provide guidance throughout the programme and conduct interactive lectures to engage students.
* Clinical exposure: Students gain practical experience during internships, which helps develop their clinical skills and prepares them for real-world scenarios.

The college is great, with sports days, feasts, and celebrations for every festival.
Placements: I am currently at the end of my first year. My seniors (fourth year) got internships at GIMS, Gleneagles, and Manipal, and they received a stipend of ₹2000 a month during the internship. After their internships, they all chose to pursue master's degrees, so I have no information about placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great, with well-equipped classrooms. Wi-Fi and AC are available, washrooms are cleanly maintained, and drinking water is accessible. The cafeteria offers fresh items. The hostel is also well-equipped with a bed, study table, cupboard, fan, and Wi-Fi. There are two messes; one serves food more aligned with Kerala style, and the other serves North Indian style, which is preferred by most of our Karnataka students. Make sure to verify and select your preferred mess during admission. The auditorium is impressive, and there are tennis and basketball courts, as well as football and cricket grounds.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, with a minimum of a master’s degree. They teach us in a very easy way and take students to the hospital for clinical postings for one hour every day starting from the first year, so students get an idea of what they are studying. The minimum passing marks to go to the second year is 60%.

BGS is a very good option for MBBS.
Placements: The fifth year of MBBS is always an internship year, which is provided by the college in their hospital itself with good pay. It allows us to explore and learn about the different departments of medicine. After 5.5 years, most students prefer to do a PG degree rather than getting a placement.
Infrastructure: The college campus is big and well-equipped with all necessary facilities. We have clean labs with all the equipment required. The classrooms are spacious and ventilated with AC. Our multilevel library has a vast collection of books written by various authors that help us expand our knowledge. Hostel rooms are very clean and well-maintained. There are two options: single and double-sharing rooms. The mess food is good compared to many other hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. They help us understand the topics and provide a clinical approach to everything. The curriculum is relevant and consists of 19 subjects, which help us explore all parts of medicine and figure out what interests us the most. The exams are moderately difficult, and most students pass in the final exams.

Absolutely satisfied, good teaching and environment.
Placements: It is not applicable to our course as this is MBBS. Which do not have such options as placements but a good number of students got PG seats. They are all well settled and got jobs outside the campus. Earning really good salary where few of them took usmle and cleared it .
Infrastructure: We have all the amenities as Wi-Fi, clean hostel, study halls AC classrooms clean environment Hostel facility is very good with a clean mess and canteen available Mess food is not that bad it's pretty decent with nonveg for around 3 times a week with seating facility .
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they guide u through each n every step Exams are pretty difficult as it is under rguhs but college will help you to get good ranks From our batch the pass percentage is 90% and all of them have got ranks above 60% which is almost good than other colleges.

It is good college with good infrastructure and great facilities.
Placements: 150 students were placed from our course. Almost 98% students got internship in the same hospital. Many students have been placed in the best colleges and some in central institutes with the course they wanted to opt for. Almost everyone is happy with his/her result.
Infrastructure: We have a spacious lecture hall with AC and good audiovisual system and Wi-Fi is available both in the college and in the hostel. Labs are well-equipped. Food in the mess is above average with good hygiene and non veg is provided thrice a week. Hostels are well maintained with modern infrastructure. The college has a spacious library with all the types of medical books and also the college has an e-library. They give equal importance to both sports and culturals by organising fests and CME programmes.
Faculty: We have well qualified and ever enthusiastic teachers trying to make our theory sessions more interesting. They make theory classes more communicative. Quality of teaching is really good nevertheless our efforts do matter. As we have clinics everyday for 3 hours, we are exposed to all sorts of cases and we can apply the knowledge that we learnt in theory classes in order to learn topics with confidence. Exams are not that difficult as we will have a few portions of each internal.
