B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2019

The teachers provide good support to academically weak students.
Placements: The placement rate is below 10% in our college. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per month, and courses offered here are B.Tech, M.Tech and law. Many private companies like Siemens, Tata Bajaj, etc., offer jobs in our college. Many students got internships in this college due to the high connectivity between companies and college.
Infrastructure: All facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a library are available. The quality of the food served is average, and all the facilities are average in the hostel. The computer room is available for 24 hours, and the Wi-Fi facility is also available for 24 hours. Sports, games and canteen are also available 24 hours.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are also good and always help students. The course curriculum is also relevant. Classes and lectures are relative and focus on in-depth study. The environment for the study and culture of our college are quite good. Our college prepares students for industrial purpose and also provides practical knowledge.
Other: Our college focuses on academically weak students and helps them to overcome their problems. Teachers also give extra time to study.

The college is average, but the faculty is highly qualified. The college provides 50% placements.
Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was Rs. 96,000 per annum. Top recurring companies like Sofcon, Hinduja Group, HCL and telecom companies visit our college for placements. Students did an internship in Sofcon India Private Limited. A top role offered to the students was an RF engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully BSNL Wi-Fi enabled. The library is the best. Classrooms are not digital and not air-conditioned. Management is very strict about college fees and mess charges. Hostel facility is secure with a literate warden.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful. All the teachers were well literate. Many teachers were PhD holders, and many of them were M.Tech qualified. Teachers always help us to build their career. Faculty members always help the students in their projects and other extracurricular activities.
Other: An annual function named Phoenix is organised at our college.

This campus used to be good earlier.
Placements: Last year, around 89% of the students were placed in different companies from our branch. But the placement scenario is very poor now. The college has very good faculty members, but the management is not that good. Many students want to get placed in many good roles. Last year, many companies like TOSHIBA, IBM and many others were visited, and these companies also hired a lot of students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The campus environment is good and peaceful. The campus is spacious and green. The college also has a huge playground, and we also have a 5-storey academic building. All the floors have very large classrooms and labs. The EC lab is equipped with huge machinery, and we also have lab assistants to help us in labs.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good and well-educated. But the management is not good here. We have very good classrooms and large halls for curricular activities. Various streams like mechanical engineering, computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and electrical engineering, etc. The mechanical department has a huge number of students when compared with other branches.
Other: The campus is good and fresh.

The college is good, but not very good.
Placements: Our college is good, but I'm not much aware of the placements. In terms of placements, the college is average. The campus is big but not good. The campus and hostel rooms are not good. The rooms are separated by plywood. We have no successful placements in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. The college provides free Wi-Fi to the students. Regarding water purifier and food quality, I will not recommend any student to take admission in this college. Sometimes, the filter runs a year. The overall infrastructure is average. The students will feel bored after taking admission. The college library is good for reading books. They don't provide good library and ACs and good environment as per the college fees collected from the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are very strict regarding education and teaching. They make us remember the content without explaining the concept properly. Academic faculty are also strict in terms of rules and regulations. In such environment, you can't feel free and study as per your terms and efforts.
Other: Our college organises cultural events annually. The students participate in these events. The college doesn't provide facilities as per the fees charged. They have a hunger for money.

Dissatisfied with food, technical knowledge and bad placements for previous and our batches.
Placements: The placements were not much good for my batch, but it was good for my senior batch. Only 3-4 students got selected from my batch, but for BPO profiles only. There was no placement provided in the technical field from my college. It should be improved, students are still struggling for it.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was not much good, but it was average. Proper ventilation was not provided. There were not separate labs for all subjects. Wi-Fi was not provided on the college campus. Sports ground was only for boys, not for girls. Food quality was the worst.
Faculty: The faculty in every stream were not sufficient in number. We had free classes sometimes. The faculty were helpful, no doubt, but not highly qualified. They only provide bookish knowledge, not practical knowledge. The student to faculty ratio was the worst. The course curriculum was good.

Everything is good but the area is backward and there is nothing outside the college.
Placements: Placements for my batch were not good, but for my seniors, top MNCs hired them. I don't know what's going on there, but I hope everything will be good. During my time at the college, there were only two companies that came to hire, in which many candidates got selected. But only a few candidates joined because the job profile was not too good for their future.
Infrastructure: When I joined the college, it was under making, so it was not too good at that time. But the campus area is really large, and almost everything is available on campus. There is nothing to see outside the college as it is in a rural area. When I left college, it was good, and they are doing changes in the infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is not available everywhere, it was only available in the hostel, but there is no speed.
Faculty: The faculty is really good, and the course is adding up every year. Some teachers were good, but because of salary issues, they left the college. I hope something has changed now.
Other: One thing I would like to tell is, don't stay in the hostel because you will get frustrated.
