The college is good because of faculty members. But infrastructure is not good.

Placements: Almost 20% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered during placements is 1.5 LPA. Manikaran Analytics offered a salary package of 2 LPA. Jaro Education offered a salary package of 7.5 LPA, but it is for management students. The highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Around 90% of the students got an internship in UPPCL, BHEL, and NTPC.

The college provides good infrastructure, teachers and placements.

Placements: The college provided good placements. Around 60% of the students were placed. The salary packages offered varies between 2.5-3.5 LPA. Mostly IT companies like TCS, HCL, Genpact, visited the campus for placements. The placement cell was good. They did a wonderful job of keeping students updated about the current demands of industry on the whole good package.

One of the best college in Meerut with decent placement and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements for the 2015 batch were good. Around 80% of the batch got placed till April 2015. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the highest salary was offered by a merchant navy company named Anglo-Eastern which was 18 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. TCS was the mass recruiter, and it has offered an assistant system engineer role. There is also a placement and development cell which tries to bring companies to our campus.

Placements are fine, but I am not satisfied with the education provided.

TCS visited the campus. Roles offered were developers, testers and production support. 50% of the students got internships.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements, I got placed in 2 companies but both are non-technical.

Placements: During our placements, only 6 persons got selected in technical profiles. Mostly, non-technical companies visit the campus. For my senior batch, around 30 students got selected for technical profile. The highest salary offered is around 3.28 lacs per annum, the average package is around 2 lacs per annum, and the lowest salary offered is around 1.20 lacs per annum. No MNCs visited our college during my tenure. The roles offered are tech support, IT recruiter, production support, and a software e...

The college which makes you an engineer without giving placements.

Placements: I am glad to share my views about my college as when I remember those days, I feel so nostalgic. I wish I could live those days again. The environment and faculty of BIT are very professional, and they are very helpful if you want to learn. For placements, TCS used to come to the campus, but the placement rate is not up to the mark. As I said that you'd be able to learn there. Almost all of my classmates are working in reputed MNCs around the globe. Rest is your call.

Good teaching staff, bad placements, mediocre facilities.

Placements: The placement percentage is low. I think that might be due to the low demand in the market. The average package was Rs. 2.6-3 LPA. In civil engineering, the package was even lower and no reputed company visited. The new placement coordinator is taking a lot of pain. This year, placements might be better.

Fairly satisfied with the academics.

Placements: Placement in our year was not as good as it had been in the previous years or were in the next year. Very few companies visit the campus. So on placement campus is okay. But the college provides a lot of placement assistance to compensate for the same. Training, sample tests, and mock interviews are conducted regularly. The placement department puts a lot of focus on communications skills and body language to help the students get a better idea of how to interact during an interview. The college...

The focus here is on passing exams only and the students are treated like schoolchildren, not as graduates. There is no focus on new technologies or training. However, the discipline here is very good and is strict, which does not give space to the students. The library and computer lab are also good, and the focus is on basics and foundation-level study which should be increased in every domain.

If you want deep knowledge and learning then here rely on yourself.

Placements: Around 80-90% of students were placed in good companies. Around Rs 4.5 LPA was the highest package offered as far as I remember. Almost everyone was placed in my course in roles like developer, tester, analyst, etc. Internship programmes are also provided over here.
