Bharati Vidyapeeth’s School of Photography (BVSP) was established in 2011 in Pune, Maharashtra. The School offers UG, PG, and diploma courses in Photography and Cinematography such as BA and MA. Built across 0.33 acre of land, it comprises state-of-the-art infrastructure, including multiple studios, well-lit rooms, and newest rigging systems. It has a highly experienced resident faculty and the guest faculty comprises of leading photographers like Jaidep Oberoi, Tarun Khiwal, Shirish Desai, Avinash Gowariker, and Fawzan Hussain. The School also arranges interactions with hair and make-up artistes, food stylists, creative directors, and other artistes.
BVSP is affiliated to BVDU, Pune. BVDU has an ‘A’ grade accreditation by NAAC and The University ranked 62nd among Universities by NIRF 2019.
BVSP Highlights
The campus has two buildings. The main wing houses faculty, admin staff, an equipment cage, computer labs, classrooms, studios, and a library. The new wing has a master studio, an edit room, and an AV library. Some highlights of the School are mentioned below:

The mode of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s School of Photography application process is online. Candidates are required to fill the application form available on the official website of the School.
UG courses
- Candidates are granted admission to BA on the basis of a valid BVSP CET 2020 score, followed by a Personal Interview (PI)
- For admission to BA, candidates must also have completed their Class 12
PG courses
- MA admissions are given on the basis of a candidate's score in BVSP CET 2020, followed by a Personal Interview (PI)
- For admission to MA, candidates must also have completed their graduation
BVSP Courses
The School offers two courses across Photography and Cinematography streams. The duration of BA and MA is three and two years, respectively. The student intake for BA (Photography and Cinematography) is 25, BA (Commercial Photography) is 50, and MA (Commercial Photography and Cinematography) is 25.
Cameras from Hassleblad, PhaseOne, Nikon, Canon, Blackmagic, and URSA are used to train students. The School also has ARRI, Kinoflo Lighting Systems, and Sekonic Spectrometers. The popular courses are mentioned below:
