Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2022

It is a good engineering college.
Placements: The salary package offered was Rs. 4,000 per month to Rs. 5,000 per month. Internships were provided. They taught tally courses for minimal fees. Almost 50% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available. Our classrooms were old. The infrastructure is old because it was built in the 1960s. The library was available. A huge playground was available to conduct all sports events.
Faculty: Our teachers were fair and experienced. They had a minimum of 5 to 6 years of teaching experience. Some teachers had taken professional courses too. Our teachers cleared our doubts. Attendance was checked before the semester examination.
Other: Our college organised many events from various departments like science, commerce, and the arts.

Our college is developing its infrastructure which will be one of the best colleges in Mumbai.
Placements: Campus placements are not good. Our college issues a notice regarding jobs so that interested students can attend interviews. Internships were provided with a stipend of Rs.7,000 - Rs.10,000 per month depending on students' knowledge which was mostly offered from CA offices.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good in our college. The library of our college is huge with thousands of books. Wi-Fi facility is not provided. Our college needs to adopt smart teaching methods by installing smart boards in classrooms as visualisation creates a better impact than reading or listening.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They conduct special sessions for solving doubts. Exams are quite challenging but if students attend classes, it will be very easy for them to pass.
Other: I chose this course because commerce has a wider scope than any other field. Students in our course can learn methods of doing business, entrepreneurship, etc.

B.Com. in Accounting and Finance - Batch of 2019
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It has a good campus life but restraints are there when it comes to teaching capabilities.
Placements: Around 65% students got placed into good post graduation colleges as the cutoff to get into such college was above 85. The lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA, average was 3 LPA and the highest was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Airtel, Reliance, Jiyonwall and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The classrooms back in 2019 were shady and dark but with the time now, they have been renovated and are pretty good. There are Wi-Fi and 3 libraries. Different buildings are there for each course. Stationary shop inside the campus. There is no residential area inside the campus for under graduation but it is there for the post graduation students. No canteens and no mess are there. Football ground and volleyball court are pretty large and sports activities are given importance.
Faculty: Teaching is average. The teachers are qualified but not worth it. BBA is better than B.Com if you want to pursue MBA after. Semester exams are very easy to crack. The passing percentage is 34%. Currently B.Com is not at all worth it to rely on as a career.

Review of Bhavan's College.
Placements: Almost 65% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was around 8.9 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered was around 2.25 LPA. Almost 30-40% of students got internships, some at CA firms and some at companies like Infosys. Our batch was the one of the loved batch as students used to study and play both. The attendance was incredible in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. The canteen was also average. The laboratories and classrooms were big, but the benches were old. It did not provide playground in this college, but takes students for district and state level games like cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers were experienced and very polite. After some internships, one can be placed in industry. The pass percentage was 85-90%. Teachers were not only teaching but giving students their experience in life and also coming up with every situation.

Our college provides a great experience.
Placements: We are getting many placement options in this college. Even if the company won't come here you will get information on where you should go for campus placements. Bhavans College invited many more companies like Tech Mahindra, Atos, GATE, etc.
Infrastructure: The college campus has a beautiful lake, a botanical garden, a temple, a gym, a large playground for sports activities and a canteen which provides great food. The new college building has decent classrooms, computer laboratories and a wonderful collection of books in the library. This college has a very good infrastructure compared to other colleges and I like that a lot in this college.
Faculty: Teachers of this college have a great experience, and are extremely knowledgeable and pretty helpful. The course curriculum of this college is very well balanced with a combination of theoretical part and practicals. The course curriculum is, according to Mumbai University, which is not very sufficient, and there should be more industry exposure.
Other: This course is very helpful for business-related jobs and startups. Many events and functions are held in our college. The crowd is amazing and this college has one of the best campus surroundings. Many sports activities and other curricular activities are carried out here.

Absolutely good faculty. Bad maintenance of infrastructure. Good sports opportunities.
Placements: Almost 50% students get placement every year. The college gives good exposure to its students. If I talk about the highest package provided by the college, then I will say around 600,000 per year, and I don't have an idea of the lowest package. But the college makes students industry-ready.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. However, the maintenance is not good. Bad benches, broken fans and bad washroom facilities. The college provides a library facility with Wi-Fi facilities only on their computers. The college has average food in canteen and the medical facilities provided are also average .
Faculty: The faculty is amazing. A healthy environment to study in. The faculty is knowledgeable; they have experience in teaching. They teaching quality is excellent. Yes the college makes students industry-ready, but the semester exams are challenging. However, 50% attendance is mandatory.
