A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the student reviews and testimonials, here are some key points:

* Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, with modern laboratories, a playground, a library, and a canteen. However, the hostel facilities are not available.
* Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, with a good teaching quality.
* Examinations: The examinations are conducted semester-wise, with a mix of theory and practical components.
* Placement: While the college does not have a strong placement record, some students reported getting placed in reputed companies. However, the placement opportunities are limited, and students often have to rely on self-placement efforts.
* Curriculum: The college has autonomy in deciding its curriculum, which may differ from the standard curriculum offered by the University of Mumbai.
* Student life: The campus atmosphere is generally peaceful, with a variety of extracurricular activities and sporting events available.

Some drawbacks mentioned by students include:

* Limited placement opportunities
* High fees structure
* Limited hostel facilities

A:

BBM/BMS at Bhavan's College Worth the Investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's what stands out:

Placement Cell: The placement cell is underwhelming, with only 40% of students getting placed. Even fewer (around 20%) secure high-paying jobs. While some notable companies like Morgan Stanley and HDFC have visited the campus, the overall placement record is inconsistent.

Teaching Quality: Faculty members are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. They strive to make learning enjoyable and interactive. The curriculum is well-rounded, covering both theoretical and practical aspects.

Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent infrastructure, with modern facilities, sprawling lawns, and state-of-the-art equipment. However, some areas like the canteen could benefit from improvements.

Campus Life: Students enjoy a lively campus atmosphere, with plenty of extracurricular activities, events, and festivals organized throughout the year.

Course Curriculum: The BMS course covers essential topics in business management, with a strong emphasis on practical application. Alumni praise the course curriculum for preparing them well for the industry.

Salary Packages: While some students receive attractive packages (up to INR1 Lacs per month), others might find the salaries lower (INR14,000 - INR40,000). The median salary may lie between INR25,000 to INR35,000 per month.

Recommendation: Considering the mixed bag of outcomes, it seems that investing in Bhavan's College's BMS programme might be worthwhile for those who prioritize a well-rounded education, networking opportunities, and personal growth. However, aspirants seeking guaranteed high-paying jobs might want to explore alternative options.

Keep in mind that individual experiences vary, and results depend heavily on individual performance, interests, and career goals.

I personally would not recommend taking admission in the BAF department at Bhavan's college.
Placements: For now, they are not offering us proper internships, and as per my knowledge, no student in our batch got an internship through our college. They don’t even train us for interviews or teach us about the reality of the outside world. Talking about placements, no, Bhavan's college would not give any placement.
Infrastructure: Classroom - The classrooms in the SFC building are average. Washrooms - Washrooms are damaged, no proper washrooms, and no proper washbasins. In short, going to the washrooms in the SFC building is a headache. Canteen - Yes, the canteen in Bhavan's college is good. There are many branded food stalls, e.g., China Wok, Society, South Indian Tiffin, Mongines, etc.
Faculty: In my course, there are only 3 teachers, and they don’t even come on time to take lectures. For example, if the class starts at 7, the teacher will come at 7:30 and start teaching at 7:40. That’s how the faculty wastes the time of the students. At the beginning of the semester, they only waste time. And when exams are on the head, they just skip many things and give importance.
Other: Yeah, one thing—the event here is top-notch.

Campus life and faculty members are good.
Placements: In my college, after passing 12th, you can get admission with 60% to 70%, and the courses are provided in all streams like commerce, arts, and science. In our college, you can get internship opportunities and also you can get a good quality education.
Infrastructure: In my college, the faculty members are very good and understanding, and I really like them. They are always there to help you. The level of the exams is medium; you can easily pass the exam if you study well. We have all the facilities like a cafeteria, library, and many more.
Faculty: In my course, like B.Com, we have to give the semester-end or final exam, and also the internal exams. In our college, you can get all the books for all semesters inside the campus, like the library, and you will also get all the notes, which I like the most about my college.
Other: I chose the B.Com course because I like commerce subjects, and I am also planning to do professional courses with this. That’s why I have chosen this course.

Infrastructure, campus area ,cultural events, teachers, lab , staff everything was worth the money
Placements: As bsc CS is one of the important courses it is trending not only in india college provides connection with different companies to work with And provides internship in college as well for eg making websites for college itself or coding for fest website etc
Infrastructure: Wifi and lab are well maintained for bsc courses as I stay near to bhavans I have no idea about hostel and food but bhavans canteen is famous for its good and also the nearby area is filled with different varieties of food , library as good of books to refer from and also you can help in updating library website being a CS student
Faculty: Faculty are very well educated and are master in the subjects they teach they teach well and can make your future bright exams are conducted frequently and an autonomous college many small tests keep on happening in the level and exam scheduling is before hand
Other: As we all know bhavans is well known for its cultural events as a bsc CS student you can get opportunity to code for bhavans fest official website it might be a great success

Above average faculty, good placements, fabulous infrastructure and events.
Placements: I am currently studying at this college and as seniors, we are not worried about placement, as the placement cell of the college does it's job pretty well. Also, the college offers 100% placement into top companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. The placement ratio is that every 3 out of 5 students will get placement.
Infrastructure: The college promises that it is one of the best colleges in this field of computer science. The college proves what it states and has a fabulous infrastructure but has a bit of issues with the timing flexibility as lectures can be cancelled unexpectedly without any update.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the college are very experienced and have the capability to give the necessary knowledge anyone would need in this field to survive. The only problem with the faculty is that some of the teachers are not at all good at teaching and even behave rudely with students .
Other: The course B.Sc. in Computer Science CS is a hands-down career option that has a bright future and the right knowledge can be a good deal into a good placement. Some of the faculty should have been replaced, as they are not worth being there, as they are not good for our career. College has its own fest named 02 and has a pleasant excitement for it. Also, every department has it's own fests that the people in the department organize.

My college review - Bhavans College
Placements: The placement cell in Bhavans college provides various job and internship opportunities to the students of various domains. Many big companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc, also many startup companies visit college to hire the students. The highest package offered in my course was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Bhavans college provides an excellent studying and career enriching environment to the students so that they make themselves more skillful. Various facilities like playground, library, labs, etc. are present in the college for student's betterment.
Faculty: The faculties of my college are excellent and very empathetic. They help students anytime they want. More than teaching, they also participate in other events with students. The exams are conducted in every six months as per the syllabus defined by the college.
Other: Various fests like O2, Hackathon etc are arranged for the students.

Bhavan's College good review.
Placements: The placement opportunities are good. Many companies visit the college campus, including TCS, Wipro, and Mahindra. These companies provide internship opportunities to students, and many students get a chance to showcase their skills and land a job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent enough. It comprises of many things, such as Labs, classrooms, library, auditoriums, etc. These facilities help students to take the best out of their degree. However, the college does not have its own hostel, so many students prefer to go to other private hostels in the vicinity.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are good enough to provide good knowledge to the students. Also, they help students in clearing and helping them in their studies. The college is affiliated with Mumbai University, and exams are conducted every six months.
