I'm satisfied with college.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed from Mechanical Engineering & 70%-80% of students got placed from CSE. The highest salary package offered is 7.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.2 LPA. Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) is our course's top recruiting company. Around 60%-70% of students secured internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good in our college and infrastructure is also nice. The only con is that the campus is a bit small compared to others. There are total of 21 Wi-Fi. All labs are needed and are in great condition. Library also has everything we need. For sports, it's not the best college.
Faculty: Teachers here are very nice and qualified. Every teacher has a Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The course is advanced but understandable at the same time. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exam is a bit difficult in our college. Pass percentage is 85-90%.
Other: The pass-out batch of our course all got placements from the college itself. The best thing about our course is that it provides field knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. There are events such as garba, DJ night, etc.

Absolutely satisfied with campus life, and management is trying their hardest to improve the campus.
Placements: The placement rate at Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur, is commendable, with many students securing roles in reputed firms. Packages range widely, with the highest being competitive, average respectable, and the lowest fair. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and Infosys, offering roles in development, testing, and management. Around 60–70% of students get internships in companies like Capgemini and Cognizant, gaining industry-relevant exposure. The institute provides good placement support, preparing students well for industry roles and helping them establish rewarding careers in the teaching and business sectors.
Infrastructure: Labs are fully integrated with the latest cutting-edge software so that students can get exposure to the current demands of skills in the world of technology. Hostels have only 4 sharing rooms that are quite spacious, including badminton courts and mess with 3-time meals.
There are 2 canteens on campus, both of which have varieties of snacks and meals. Campus has 4 grounds; the most played sports on the campus are cricket, football, Kabbadi Kho volleyball, badminton, table Tennis and nearly every indoor game except pool.
Faculty: Every teacher here is highly experienced and helpful; as a student, I get help from faculty members in any need. Faculty members are very encouraging and the principal is a very idealistic person; he supports the good and right needs of any student. Exams here are moderate; the passing percentage is 60%. Course curriculum is very relevant.
Other: I chose CSE due to interest in the IT field and I got an internship in Staying Bangalore, working there as some and CD. The best thing about my course is that it is very dynamic and we get to research new things and new project ideas. One thing that needs to be improved is that we need to focus on current world learning. Events happen every 2 months, including cultural, batch parties, college fests and sports.
Connectivity to every other person is high.

I would not recommend joining this college.
Placements: Placements at our college are not good. Only local and common mass recruiters visit our college. Only service-based and Ed-Tech companies come for recruitment. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Our college doesn't put effort to invite top or non-mass recruiter companies for better opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. The area and size of our college are even smaller than most medium-sized colleges. Wi-Fi facility is available but connectivity is not good. Laboratories are available in our college but the systems are outdated. Only syllabus books are easily issued. The library is small and they hardly issue any other books. Restrooms are not good. Our college doesn't provide sanitizers. Classrooms are above average but most of the time there is no electricity. Only a few laboratories are air-conditioned. The rest of the college is ventilated by fans and open windows. The hostel is small and has limitations prone. One small room is provided to 3-4 students with minimum amenities. The quality of food offered during lunch is good. The quality degrades when the time comes for breakfast and dinner. The hygiene of the mess is not up to the mark. Sports equipment is not present or it is broken. The ground is spacious but it is not well-maintained. The transport facility is not managed properly.
Faculty: Some faculty members are knowledgeable and know how to teach. Most experienced and student-friendly teachers have left the college due to the management. The course is relevant but not taught practically. They take lab classes every day but in exams everything is theory and practical application is not good. Most of the time in the final viva, teachers expect students to answer what teachers never taught them. They never complete the syllabus on time and allegedly completes it near the time announced by the University. They take classes for 3 months, wrapping up 6 months syllabus in 3 months. They postponed the final exams for 3 months. The course curriculum is relevant to industry only and only if the student puts effort outside the college to learn practical coding. They never guide us on how to pursue in life and what skills to develop to get a secure job. The passing marks are 35%. Every exam is theory-based. Students should have 75% of attendance. We can say that the college is running just because of faculty members present for a B.Tech degree.
Other: I opted for this college because by that time BIT Raipur and BIT Durg were one college having two branches, but in the same year, BIT Durg was declared autonomous. Additionally, BIT Raipur was closer to home. Our college never supports any events. They may say the opposite during the admission. Our college does not allow for an internship before the third year. The full 1st-year fee is taken in installments of two. Everyone has to opt for it at least for 1 year. However, the college is never open for a complete year after the covid. Every semester is shrunk after covid. Full fees and transport charge is taken or else they don't allow to sit in final exams. Almost 90% of students are not that good at studies and the college never tries to bring them up. They won't give any priority to sports. The mess facility should get improved.

Almost everything is good. You will definitely have a good four years in this place.
Placements: We have 90% placement since many choose to go for higher studies or civil service. The highest salary package is around 12 LPA. Many mainstream companies come for recruitment. The interviews are very thorough. Companies like Oyo are also present.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided are good. Wi-Fi is present everywhere. There are no air conditioners in classrooms. Labs are quite good. The hostel rooms are spacious. Sports and games are widely available. There is a considerably good amount of sporting goods present on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful in almost every situation. They are very knowledgeable. Courses are up-to-date with the university. Semester exams are very appropriate for the curriculum. With labs present and a workshop, both hardware and software aspects are taught comprehensively.
Other: Our course provides good opportunities for both sectors, CS/IT and Electrical. Campus events are really a good place for exposure. Scholarships are provided for worthy students. Events like sports, debates, co-curricular activities, etc., are quite good. They are at university level.

I was disappointed by the placement as the HR wasn't good enough to bring a company to college.
Placements: Around 25% of students in my batch were placed for trainer engineer and business development roles in private companies as well as in BYJUS. I haven't seen any person or student from our college, Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur, placed in very good company through college camp selections.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure but not a very big hostel, and Wi-Fi is provided. The mess of our college, Bhilai Institute of Technology Raipur, wasn't good. They didn't provide good meals or good breakfast. They haven't provided any inverter facilities as they charge so much for the hostel itself.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and also skilled teachers who focus on teaching, not making students understand what they teach. As our college, Bhilai Institute of Technology Raipur doesn't have a good teacher for the higher semester, they focus on giving assignments so students can complete chapters while doing the assignment.
Other: College life isn't good at our college.

Review of Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur.
Placements: The placement percentage was average but better as compared to other private colleges. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Ambuja Cement, JSW, and Monnet are the most popular companies that come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college building is great but the hostel buildings especially the boys' one is not good. Wi-Fi is installed all over the college and provides good connectivity and speed. Labs and classrooms are good and the library is average just like every other college.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly as well as well educated. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Depends upon how students can understand what the faculty members are providing for them to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, require learning daily to ace the exams.
