Good review about my college .
Placements: Placements: 95% of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 44 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Hanumant, etc., are the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Medical facilities: The medical facilities can accommodate 100 patients, and its doctors and paramedics are on duty throughout the day. Reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment plants, hot water facilities, and first aid stations are also present. The yoga and physiotherapy center is part of the medical facilities available at the Vel Teach campus. Gym: Each hostel has a fully functional gym run by the Department of Physical Education and the staff members. Library: The library is well-stocked with academic resources, books, journals, and online materials for students' reference and education. With four blocks covering 2500 square meters, it houses a collection of 99,200 volumes, 40,000 electronic books, 20,118 journals, and SCOPUS access. Sports complex: The university offers indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students' overall growth. The Department of Physical Education and Sports is in charge of maintaining and running the facility. Sports are included.
Faculty: Vel Tech University generally has a reputation for qualified and knowledgeable teachers who are considered helpful to students, with a curriculum that is considered relevant and industry-ready; however, some mention that the difficulty of semester exams can vary depending on the course, and the pass percentage is generally considered average, with some students noting the need for self-study to fully prepare for the industry.
Other: It's good for engineering students.

Vel Teach University Review.
Placements: 40% of the students were placed in our batch. The highest package was 17 LPA, which was not provided by the college but was from an off-campus opportunity with Cisco. The college offered only packages less than 7 LPA, and the average package was only 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and HCL came to the college, but only 2-5% of students got internships. Top roles were software trainees.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good in the college; the classrooms and library were well-maintained, but the hostel was not as good as expected considering the amount charged. It was only average. The canteen and sports facilities were good, and the college gave equal importance to extracurricular activities, which was a good advantage for students.
Faculty: The teachers were skilled and knowledgeable, but the teaching standards followed were not good. They focused only on theoretical knowledge, giving no credit to practical knowledge. They concentrated more on completing subjects rather than checking the understanding of students.

Good placements but less.
Placements: Placements are very limited. The highest package is 44 LPA. The top recruiting courses are CSE and Python. Internships are also available in our college. The lowest placements are 4 LPA. The CSE role is offered in the college. The placement on campus is good, with good packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the hostel food is also good. Rooms are available with AC. 24-hour Wi-Fi is available. Students can use the rooms for one or two days if they are visiting from outside the campus. The college is nice, with good food and Wi-Fi availability.
Faculty: The faculty is very strict; rules also have to be followed by the faculty and the institute. In exams, the pass percentage is 65%, and the faculty and staff are good. The campus life is good for students. For coming and going home, we have to take permission from the hostel warden.

Get information before joining the Vel Tech.
Placements: Every week, representatives from four different companies would visit the campus. It was up to the students to decide whether they wanted to interview for a position, but the college provided assistance if needed. There was a dedicated placement department that facilitated the process.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, and the rooms are nice. We get breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day at the appropriate time, and the food is served in an orderly and efficient manner. We can also get snacks every evening.
Faculty: The faculty were very good at helping us with our studies. They were very helpful in class and helped us prepare for exams. If we study hard, we can easily score well on the exams.
Other: Good culture event.

Extremely Middling University that should only be considered if one is left with not many options.
Placements: Students become eligible for campus placements on the 7th semester, but can start applying and going for internships from 6th semester. WITCH companies are the main software companies that come to the university for placement. Core electronics companies like Microchip, Embedded4u, etc. Also invite students for internships and placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the campus is serviceable at best. Many laboratories are not very well maintained even if they are equipped with the required tools. For example, my department only has 2 desktops with specialized semiconductor chip layout design tools like Cadence even installed, and they don't always work well. This has been a huge burden to students who took chip design as a minor or major project and they have had to suffer the consequences of doing so. As for hostels, not all hostels are good and vary in terms of quality. The quality of food available in the mess similarly varies. The canteen has a wide variety of at least tasty food, though they may not be healthy. Sports facilities in both the campus and hostels are minimal, though not non existent.
Faculty: The ECE curriculum of the university is good on paper but lags behind evn compared to similar universities. The questions asked from the syllabus in tests and exams are mostly extremely predictable, with little room for applying oneself to solve a problem. This is probably done to ensure that the overall average remains up, but it hampers learning in my opinion The faculty to student ratio is relatively low in the university ranging from 1:50-60 for a particular class. This is on par with most other universities here, and abroad. Faculty's approach to teaching and mentorship may vary, but is largely a low bar. Only some faculty members encourage their preferred students to do more than the stipulated minimum, even if they're mostly approachable.
Other: Campus life is highly desirable. Books and Journals are mostly accessible from the library Classrooms are not well maintained and many a times, do not have basic facilities like working projectors Sports and extracurricular activities are held back by the lack of proper facilities offered Student run social groups and clubs do exist, though not many having a positive impact on a student's academics.
