It is a very good college for students.
Placements: Placements were not provided in our college. Few students can get placed in private and government sectors if they work hard. Professors also guide students regarding placements.
Infrastructure: Our department was very well-decorated. Geography department had a separate building. Geography laboratory was provided with proper equipment like topographical sheets, a barometer, and all the instruments related to the survey. There was a separate department for every specialization.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. Every department had more than 5 faculty members. There were 6 professors in the geography department. All faculty members were well-qualified. The HOD of every department was a Ph.D. scholar.
Other: Our college should improve its placements.

A good college with best teachers.
Placements: 90% students got placed from my course. The highest, the lowest and the average package offered in my course is between 3 to 5 LPA. Top Recruiting companies for my course are Infosys and many more. Percentage of students who got internship from my course is around 80%.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for your course department e. g. Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, Library. Wi-Fi has a decent speed with which we can download any software or application within in a minute. The quality of library is awesome and they have huge space and more than 100 students can be seated at once.
Faculty: The teachers are very much helpful to students. They are very much talented they are graduated from very renowned institutes. The semester exam are quite hard which I think is a best thing for every students. Pass percentage of my college is nice around 90 %.

Not so good just average.
Placements: Only 10 to 20 percent are placed in the highest jobs. The average salary package is 1 lakh per year, and it doesn't go higher than that. TCS and Webel are among the companies that come for placement. Only 10 percent of graduates get jobs, which is why the computer line is the only option.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the college are average, like the library, small computer rooms, and classrooms, which are just average. The canteen facilities are the worst, the food is very bad, and sports are also not so good. They are very unorganized.
Faculty: The faculty helps us, not all the time but sometimes. B.com, which is very relevant because we can do CA, CS and CA after graduation. Semester exams are not that tough. Passing percentages are around 30 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I want to change my life. No event happens and there are very few activities happening there.

I am satisfied with this college as it has good teachers.
Placements: Students in their final semester become eligible for campus placements. Students get placements from reputed companies like Infosys. They get a salary package of approximately 5 LPA to 15 LPA. About 20%-40% of students get placements. I have a plan to get a job in campus placements.
Faculty: The qualifications of faculty members are very high and good. They are knowledgeable, and the way they teach is good. Internal exams are conducted on time. From the basics to the advanced, the course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for placements.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in accounting and finance. There is a student union group. It helps students. There is also an official college group for every course. Events are up to the mark. This college is a lot better than other colleges.

It is a good college but improvement is necessary.
Placements: There are no placements in this college. There are also no companies that visit to hire students. But some companies provide internships to the students.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is limited to 40 MB usage daily. The canteen is average, and the hostel facility is not available. The game room is also available. The library is just under the game room, but the air-conditioned library is not provided. The sit is also not comfortable to study.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are average, and some of them are egotistic. Most of the teachers taught the curriculum proficiently. The exams are conducted by the University of Calcutta. The difficulty level of CU has no bounds. The classes are not completed, and CU took offline exams for all.

Bidhan Chandra College is very good for Commerce stream courses.
Placements: I think 90% students were placed in my college. The average package offered in my course is 9000. The college offers same packages for the course. Top recruiting companies for my course were Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Facebook and other private companies. Percentage of students who got internships was 85%. Companies offering internships were IBM, Amazon, Facebook and other private companies. Top roles offered in my course were that of Tax Consultant, Financial Analyst, Business Executive, Account Executive, Company Secretary, Product Manager and System Analyst.
Infrastructure: We didn’t have any Wi-Fi connection in my college. We have computers lab for our B.Com course which are equipped with modern and up-to-date instruments, computers, and softwares necessary for practical learning and research.
Faculty: The college teachers are very supportive and helpful. All the teachers of my college are very qualified and knowledgeable in their roles. They always complete the syllabus before the exams.
Other: I chose B.Com. because I am good at Maths and Accounts. The commerce stream has good career opportunities for the students which was the biggest reason for me to choose this course. The things I wish were better about my course is increased value of the B.Com Degree involving a combination of actions that can enhance your skills, experience and market ability in the eyes of potential employers or graduate programmes. My college has all the facilities, events, fest, and connectivity available. We always celebrated festivals.
