Our college had good placement in 2020.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 8 LPA. Consistency is needed to get top job offers. Top roles offered are ADO, manager of a bank, professor, and scientist.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. Our college has well-developed digital classrooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all classrooms. It has a well-recognised central library and good labs. The food served in the hostel is moderate. Our college has 24X7 medical services. An ambulance service is available in our college throughout the day.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are not difficult if you study regularly. The pass percentage is 50%. The course curriculum is not relevant enough. The syllabus could be a little bit small.
Other: I opted for this course because I have not cleared the NEET exam. Our college conducts annual fests, freshers, etc. Various national and state scholarships are available in our college.

Overall, good. There should be improvement in exam conducting pattern.
Placements: Professor, Teacher, scientist, government. Job. Etc. are hob roles after B.Sc. You can pursue academics like M.Sc. and Ph.D. Placements are good but there are no direct placements. You have to give entrance exams for this. Salary is good. For Ph.D. programme, scholarship is there. Also, abroad job facility is available.
Infrastructure: Everything is available. Food is of good quality. Sports are on your own. Equipment are there. No Wi-Fi is provided. You have to add on your own. Mess fee is very low, it is negligible. Everything is free almost. Free gym is there. There is a huge library and smart classroom for students.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. They have knowledge, most of them are Ph.D. scholar but there is field work that can be sometime very hard. They try to complete the syllabus in haste but time management can't be done easily. They conduct exam without teaching the topics.
Other: Please conduct exams with a break.

Review of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya - Burdwan Campus.
Placements: As most of the students are likely to do higher studies, the rate of placements after graduation is very low. Around 15-20% of students are placed, and nearly 80% of students get placements after completing their M.Sc. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are mostly pesticide and fertilizer companies like Tata, Bayer, Syngenta, UPL, etc. There are no internships in our course. The roles offered are sales and marketing manager, and research and development officer.
Infrastructure: Despite being a sub-campus of this university, all types of facilities are available. There is 1 library, 5 laboratories, 4 smart classes with audio-visual aids, 1 student-ready room, a large conference hall, and 4 washrooms. Wi-Fi is also enabled. On campus, there are 4 hostels i.e., 2 for boys and 2 for girls. The food quality is very good. Regarding medical facilities, a primary health kit box is there, and an emergency car is also available for serious issues. Sports and games like cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton are popular in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great. They know every student by their first name and interact with them during classes. A personal doubt-clearing session is also conducted for students. To study this course, one must have sound practical and field knowledge, and by improving practical skills in different semesters, students become ready for industries. Semester exams are not easy. The difficulty level is medium to hard, because the questions asked in the exam are both subjective and conceptual. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I chose this course, because I have heard from our seniors that agriculture provides huge job opportunities. More teachers should be allotted, and laboratories should improve in this college. Four major events are conducted, Unmesh-sports programs, Naibedya-Rabindrajayanti, Anuranan-farewell, and Nexus-freshers, and an annual cultural program. Eligible students can get scholarships from the state government like SVMCM, Oasis, etc. But there are no scholarships by this college. I learned a lot of things, and this college experience is also great.

Friendly and qualified teachers, good infrastructure, highly satisfied college.
Placements: Most of the students prefer higher studies after the completion of the course. Some go for government jobs and others work in companies like Bayer, Syngenta, Tata Rallis, In-Greens, Dhanuka, UPL, etc. The average package offered is between 1.8 LPA to 2.4 LPA. The internship facility is not available right now.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in our college. In the college building 4 smart classes, 5 labs, a library, a conference room, and a student-ready room are present. Good quality foods with different varieties are supplied from mess and canteen in terms of lunch and dinner. For medical emergencies, a car is always there on our campus. About 2 grounds are there for playing cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton. In the case of indoor games carrom, table tennis is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and student-friendly in our college. They are also highly educated, so the teaching quality is very good. The difficulty level is between moderate to hard and the pass percentage is 50%. Through different practicals, projects, skill development, and experiential programs students get market ready.
Other: I chose this course because agriculture is the only sector where there is a great opportunity for getting jobs. Regarding improvement, emphasis should be given to more practical attachments. Different programs are organised throughout the year like Unmesh- annual sports, Naibedya- Rabindrajayanti, Nexus- Freshers' cum annual cultural program, Anuranan- Farewell program, etc.

It is a small but sweet campus with good placements, quality knowledge, and a friendly campus.
Placements: About 20% of students got placement in our course and the rest of the students want to go for either higher studies or government jobs. The average salary package is near about Rs. 20,000 per month but it varies. Top recruiting companies are Bayer, Syngenta, Tata, UPL, Dhanuka, Indofil, etc., which are mainly pesticide companies. There was no internship associated with our course but a 6-month rural experiential program was there in which we all participated and it was also included in our course. Major roles offered are sales and marketing manager, R&D officer, research scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: In the college building, there are 4 smart classrooms one smart is allotted for the students each year, and every classroom is equipped with a proper audio-visual system, blackboard, projector, and air-conditioning. Besides this, 5 labs for different subjects, 1 library, 1 large conference room, and 1 student-ready room are also there. A Wi-Fi facility is also available inside the college building. Regarding the accommodation, 2 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels are allotted. Each student is provided with a bed, a table, a chair, and a wardrobe. Good quality food and water are supplied from the mess and canteen. An emergency medical kit is always present and a car is also there to take the student to the hospital in case of a serious problem. For the students who are interested in sports 2 football grounds, 1 cricket ground, 1 volleyball, and 1 badminton court and among indoor games a table tennis room, a carrom room and a chess room are there.
Faculty: The only faculty that is present in our college is the faculty of agriculture. The teachers are well qualified. Every teacher completed their Ph.D. degree in their respective subject. They are also very friendly with the students. Regarding the courses, about 16 subjects are taught throughout 4 years. Each year comprises 2 semesters of 6 months each. Here we can gain quality knowledge along with practical experience. The difficulty level of semester exams is between medium to hard and the pass percentage is 50%. These semester exams, practical exams, different projects, and viva-voce are very much helpful to prepare the students market ready.
Other: I chose this course because agriculture is the backbone of our country and agriculture and allied generate more employment than any other sector of our country. So it is a big opportunity and also I want to help the farmers of my local area with the best knowledge and practical experience that I have earned from this course. Regarding the improvement, I think the students should be more exposed to the farm and farmer level so that they can understand the actual condition of the farmers of our country and it will also be helpful to find out different problems as well as their solutions. There is a good scope for improving the extracurricular activities by performing in different events, fests, programs, etc. No scholarship from the college is being given to UG students right now but in the case of higher studies, different scholarships are given by the university as well as the government.
