Sell the natural wind of trees.
Placements: There are about 180 students in B.Tech CSE. Last year, the highest package was 13 LPA. The average package was 8 to 9 LPA. The lowest package was 4 to 5 LPA. Lenskart and LinkedIn are some top recruiting companies. About 25 to 27% of students are doing internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi networks are too slow and don’t work properly. Classrooms haven’t been modified in the last 15 years. Hostel rooms are too small, and there are no separate washrooms for each room. Mess timings should be fixed for breakfast, and gym timings should also be fixed.
Faculty: Teachers are always supportive regarding all doubts and are well-educated in their fields. If we talk about semester exams, if you want to clear all the subjects without any backlog, you should study daily. The passing criteria are that you need to score 60 marks out of 150 to pass.

Covered with hills and lakes.
Placements: Last time it was about 12 LPA, the highest, 7 to 8 LPA was the average package, and 4 to 5 LPA was the lowest package as it was mentioned on the bulletin boards. Lenskart and Liked In are some top recruiting companies for our course. About 20 to 25% of students are doing internships.
Infrastructure: Basically, in winters, there is a regular cutoff of electricity due to excess usage of heaters, blowers, and some other electric appliances. Sometimes, on the previous night of the exam, students face trouble studying due to a lack of electricity. Wi-Fi is also not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and don’t deny asking questions in their free time. Some of them are highly qualified. In semester exams, if you want to clear all the subjects without any backlogs, then you have to face some difficulties. Passing criteria: 60/150.
Other: For improvement, they can make modifications in sports facilities, like upgrading the lights at the basketball court. For the entertainment of students, there are 2 to 3 fests per semester.

Life as a BIAS student is fun and lively.
Placements: Pursue B.Tech in Electronics and Communication branch. 60% were placed in 2024. The highest package was 9 LPA, the lowest was 2.4 LPA, and the average was 4.5 LPA. Companies like NCR, Orahi, Rubico IT, and Prodesk IT offered roles in Software Development, Cyber Security, Pen Testing, Front-end Development, and Back-end Development. 50% secured internships.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a remote area, so there is a low chance for companies to conduct on-campus drives, but some do visit. Both hostels and the college have Wi-Fi with proper speed. The library has academic and competitive exam books. Hostel life is amazing with good food, power, and comfortable amenities.
Faculty: College life involves self-study and managing everything. Teachers are nice and helpful, with an understanding nature. The course curriculum is relevant and well-structured, with industry experience integrated into many classes, making students well-versed. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and with proper attention in classes, anyone can score well.
Other: There are many societies to join on campus, providing valuable experience and learning opportunities. Practical knowledge could be emphasized more. Spectrum Fest is conducted every year, which is lively and enjoyable.

Good college for its price.
Placements: The placements are okay, but that is because of the recent changes. Earlier, it was 80 to 90% placement, but now it's only 20 to 30%. The companies that are coming are only providing 3 to 4 Lacs packages and are small companies which are not recognised.
Infrastructure: Other infrastructure is below average, although the hostel has a great vibe. However, the facilities and amenities are lacking. There are power cuts, water shortages, and the Wi-Fi sometimes just doesn't work. The college is also a library with a limited selection of books, and some badminton courts and table tennis tables.
Faculty: The syllabus is based on Uttarakhand Technical University syllabus and is outdated for today's standard. You have to study recent technology on your own. Getting marks is easy as you have to just fill up pages to get marks in external exams, and you have to study for internal exams.

Value for money and good life.
Placements: The placements are just average here or maybe it's below average, it all depends on the student also. This year, I heard the avg package was 7 LPA of electronics students. I don't know about the CSE, because college doesn't reveal that. As far as I know, it's 4 LPA in CSE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. There are no fans present in the classroom as well as hostels, maybe because it's in the hills, but I don't know about the summers. The food quality is good as compared to others. The canteen, medical, and sports facilities are just okay.
Faculty: It depends on the teachers. Some of them are just brilliant and some of them are just avg. They don't know how to teach, but some of them teach us really well. And yeah, the course curriculum is relevant, and it will make you industry-ready. The semester exams are tough because many of the students fail in one or more than one exam, so you have to study consistently, that's it.

Overall, college is good and environment is nice as it is not overly crowded.
Placements: Generally, placements are good, but last year and this year there has been a downfall in placements. Let's hope it gets normal next year. Faculty is really helpful and gives a chance to every student. Top recruiting companies are Lenskart, Akitra, Wipro, and many more.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but I know hostels are good, though mess is average. I stayed in hostel for 1.5 years, and experience is pretty good. The boys' hostel is famous for noise. Mess food is average in taste and good in quality.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent and helpful. My course is quite difficult but also very helpful for my future endeavors. Semester exams are usually tough, and passing criterion is 30%. Back examinations are tougher than regular exams.
Other: Fest is very poorly organised. It is like a school function. We want it to be more casual and fun.
