I am satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and labs.

Placements: Training and placement cell is working for students to get placement in good companies. In our batch, about 40 students got placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Mostly, students get selected for a trainee engineer role.

I had an extravaganza journey.

Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed every year in electronics. Most of them select the IT field as their career, and only a few go for their core domain. In 2017 (my pass out year), companies offered packages of 2.5 to 5 LPA. TCS, Capgemini, and E-Infochips were the top recruiting companies. Compulsory internship concept is not introduced in our tenure, but some of my friends got to do internships in local companies. One of my talented friends got an internship in Google. But that's based on the p...

It is India's first engineering college after 1947 BVM with GIA and a self-financing course.

Placements: Nearly 80-90% of the students got placed in the electronics engineering field. Top companies like TCS, ABB and EInfochips visit our college for placements. ABB company, known as ASEA Brown Boveri, is a leading company in India for electrical and power electronics.

I had the most amazing memories in my civil engineering.

Placements: Around 30-40% of students got placed in well-known companies such as L&T, TCS etc. Every student got compensation for their internship, including a food voucher. They got Rs. 400 up to 12 days. During my tenure, one of the students got a package of 8 LPA from L&T.

I got placed in PerfectVIPs, i.e., VLSI company, so my experience is very good with this college.

Placements: I came from the electronics branch. In this branch, 70% of the students who are eligible for placements got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.1 LPA. Companies that came here are L&T, Byju's, TCS, Wipro, eInfochips, LTTS, etc. Almost 70% of the students got an internship in these companies, and they offered us embedded and VLSI or software side roles.

The college is satisfactory. I suggest not to expect placements if you are not from CS, IT and EC.

Placements: The highest salary package offered in our college is 11 LPA by Byju's, the lowest salary package offered is 1.12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is generally 3-4 LPA. I am from the electronics department, and TCS and Infosys are top recruiting companies. Generally, CS and IT students get the highest salary package from our college.

Overall, I had a good experience and nice memories.

Placements: Around 8-10 students out of 60 students from our batch of 2018 got placed during campus interviews. So, approximately 15% of the total students got selected. The highest salary package was offered by L&T, which was around 5.65 LPA. The average salary package provided to us was 3.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were L&T, Reliance, GSFC (Gujarat State Fertilizer Company), Bombardier India Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Shriram Housing Finance. Overall, our college is quite good in Gujarat.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite average because it comes in tier-2 college. If you are in CS, IT and electronics courses, then placements are about 50%. If you are in mechanical, civil and production courses, then you could face many difficulties to find core jobs.

I am satisfied with placements, supportive head and culture.

Placements: BVM's placements are terrific. Most of the students got placements last year based on their skill-set with medium to high salary packages. From medium range companies to MNCs like TCS, visit here for placements. Several types of roles are offered in companies from placements based on your choice or company's requirements.

Our college is good enough compared to other colleges of Gujarat.

Placements: Many companies like L&T, etc., visit our college for placements, and some of them are local companies, while some are MNCs. Every year many students get placed from our college. All the details about placements are available on our college official website. Our college also offers internships.

The placements are quite low, hostels are average and the course curriculum is outdated.

Placements: The placements are quite low around 30% for the department and the average package is around 2 LPA. Since fees is more than 1 LPA, ROI is not that great for the department. Companies like Matrix, TCS are top recruiters with the highest package being 6 LPA and the lowest 1.5 LPA. No internships in the curriculum.

Placements: Overall, placements were about 60%. Circuit branches had the highest placements, and core branches like mechanical and electrical also had good placements. The civil branch had about 30% of placements. Top recruiting companies were Reliance, TCS, E-Infochip, L&T, Jyothi Lyd, Razorpay, etc. Most of them provided the post of graduate engineer trainee. BVM has many connections with companies for internships. Students can contact departmental faculty members for getting internship opportunities.
