Nice college with awesome infrastructure and brilliant teacher with knowledge and facilities .

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college is 70 percent. The highest package offered by our college is 5LPA . The top recruiting companies are Tata, Wipro, WeBell it etc. The percentage of students who got internship are 60%. top roles offered are Accountant, Tax Consultant.

Infrastructure: Labs, classroom, Gym, canteen and all type of facilities with brilliant structure. there are sports tournament, annual day function. everything is done to support sports. Medical facilities were awesome and very easily available.

Faculty: Yes the teacher were helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is awesome and we understand everything very easily. Yes, it make industry ready. The semester are moderate to pass. The passing percentage is 90%.

Our college is recognised as an excellent institution and NAAC B+.

Placements: On average, nearly 60% of the students get placements each year. The salary package offered is also quite relevant. The highest salary package offered in this college is about 3-4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is maybe around 1.5 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are HDFC and ICICI Bank. Placements are average.

Infrastructure: There are 2 well-maintained hostels. Classrooms are also big and suitable for studies. The food served in the canteen is also good than in other college canteens. Every year, cultural programs are organised to encourage students. For extracurricular activities, there is a big playground.

Faculty: Faculty members are extremely good. All the teachers are highly knowledgeable and well-educated. You can learn things if you want. They always try to connect with students to teach and solve problems that make students industry-ready, which is the best thing a college can offer.

The environment for studies and teachers are good, but no companies came for campus placements.

Placements: In our college for the 2015-2018 batch, there are no campus placements. None of the companies came for offering jobs to students who have potential and good results also. There are almost 240 students in our batch, and none of the students got a job from our college.

Infrastructure: The environment of classrooms is good. The quality of the food is decent. We have a computer room. There are no such facilities available in our course, and only we had questions solving time from books. We have a library, but it is far away from our college building.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful toward students. If any student is unable to understand any topic in the classroom, then they can contact teachers in their free time. The standard of teaching is also good, and they have great knowledge in their field of study.

Other: I have chosen B.Com honours because I am interested in accounts.

I am not satisfied because of the administration and faculty members. There are no placements.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements for B.Com students. None of the companies visited the campus as our college doesn't invite any companies for placements of their students. The placement scenario is the worst here, and no company wants to recruit anyone from the college because of the worst behaviour of college administrators.

Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility only for BBA and BCA students and teachers, but not for students of other streams. Classrooms are good, neat and clean. The library is also good, and there are sufficient books available. There are no medical facilities on the campus. There are no sports facilities available. Although there is a big ground available to play, there is a lack of sports equipment, and we don't even have any coaches for sports. Our college did not organise any kind of programme in the last 2 years. Most of the teachers are lazy here. They usually don't want to take a class. They do not correct the answer sheets of students seriously. It's the common situation in all the colleges under Burdwan University.

Faculty: Many of the teachers in the college are not helpful for students. If you ask a difficult question to professors, they can't explain it properly. They are too lazy. They solve the problematic questions in class looking at an example which is solved in books. They are qualified, but I think they forgot their academic concepts. The student to faculty ratio is 95:1.

Other: The college didn't organise any annual fest in the last 2 years. It doesn't conduct extracurricular activities.

Review of Burdwan raj college.

Placements: On average, nearly 60% of the students get placements each year. The salary package offered is also quite relevant. The highest salary package offered in this college is about 3-4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is maybe around 1.5 LPA. The top recruiters for our course are HDFC and ICICI Bank.

Infrastructure: I had opted for hostels but I would not highly recommend you the college hostel because the environment is not so good. The rooms are too small and it is hard to share your room with others as the vacancy of the rooms are very little and the water system is average with only 5 toilets which are very bad. The average rental is monthly Rs 2550.

Faculty: After the completion of their graduation degree, most of the students opted for higher studies aiming for the research sector. Some of them also get admission into IITs after cracking JAM. Students also take part in exams like JEST TIFR, etc. About two seniors of our department got admission into TIFR and IIT Bombay in 2020 and 2021. Most of the students are interested in higher studies and researching abroad.
