Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2025

College is good for engineering students as well as management students.
Placements: In the last year's batch, 95% of students from my course were placed across various sectors in India. The highest salary package was 1.02 crore in CSE and the lowest salary package offered was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Google, and Meta. Around 100% of students secured internships from our course. They secured internships in finance, HR, and digital marketing. Companies offering internships include SAIL, Infosys, Accenture, Housiey, TCS, Mahindra, Yamaha, Bajaj, and many other C-group companies. The same goes with Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Infrastructure: Atmosphere is pleasant and infrastructure is good. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and library is spacious. Wi-Fi facility is excellent in both the college and hostel. All the facilities provided by the hostel such as security, food, healthcare, entertainment activities, indoor games, and TV are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and always available when we are stuck. All teachers hold Ph.D. degrees and are highly professional. Teaching quality is good, but some teachers need improvement from my perspective. They make students ready for work in companies and also train students to take part in industrial work. The exam levels in semester exams are above average. Pass percentage is 40%.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

Not so happy with placement as promised during admission, but education and facilities are good.
Placements: 80% students are placed. The lowest average package is 3.5, and the highest is 10, but companies offering 16 LPA come, but they don't hire anyone. No internship is given to 3rd years. This year, the placement is so bad that only 12 companies with fewer students hired this time.
Infrastructure: The food is very bad; no one can eat that. Even we skip our lunch and dinner. The library and classrooms are good with an adequate amount of books. The hostel facility is so bad that sometimes water is not available to drink, and insects are in the food.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but some don't explain subjects so well. The subjects are in no relevance with student preparation for placements, so we prepare on our own. No knowledge for placement subjects is done. Even training is less in college, but good faculty is there.

Not the worst choice for nearby residents but definitely should not be the go-to choice for anyone.
Placements: My batch is yet to graduate. Average packages offered range from 1-3 LPA to 5-9 LPA (depending on companies). Very few students also manage to bag more than 15-20 LPA (again, depending on companies' criterion). Frequent companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Capgemini, and a few more. But most companies visiting hire mostly CS branches and select few companies hire core branches.
Infrastructure: Very average classroom sitting facilities. Wi-Fi speed is slow and unstable, but it’s kind of okay and works most of the time. Labs are kind of average too, except select few. The library is relatively good and actually has almost all recommended textbooks for the course. Hostels are good but overcharged. Hostel Wi-Fi is always unstable. The mess/canteen food is just total ***. They aren’t even trying to cook anything. Sometimes, the food isn't even edible. T_T. There is a medical/first aid facility on the campus and 2 ambulances for anything more than first aid. Sports and games facilities: no indoor games, outdoor: 1 small football ground, 1 volleyball court, and 1 basketball court. There is 1 cricket ground on the campus but not owned by the college, so not for general use except for tournaments.
Faculty: Teachers are actually very good overall. Some are industry-experienced, have vast and in-depth knowledge of the subjects, and are willing to mentor you personally if you are a dedicated student. The curriculum is AICTE-based. Not totally relevant to making students industry-ready. Not every teacher or professor explains things in relevance to real-world problems. Exams aren't hard to pass but require a bit of effort to score more than good. However, if you have good assignment, quiz, and lab scores, it’s easier. Generally, all students pass the exams except a few or those who were absent.
Other: The teaching methods should include more practical knowledge than just cramming theories and facts. And there actually should be tasks relevant to what we will need to be industry-ready. There are 2 major events: 1 freshers’ and one college fest. There's also an annual athletics meet. There is good crowd but only 2 small park/lawn-like areas to sit or hang out. The college is in very outskirts from the city, so there is nothing really in the surroundings except a few scattered housing societies. But there is a market area for daily necessities through the college back GATE.

A University with great Centre of Excellence.
Placements: The previous year, 75-80% of the students were placed in companies like Accenture, TCS, TCE, JMAN Group, Teach-Mahindra, M-compass, PwC, Digit Insurance, Capgemini, Qspider, and many other companies. The highest package on campus was offered by Gupshup Technologies of 18 LPA. The internship ratio is quite low here. Most of the students do internships in startups like High Radius and research internships at top engineering and management institutes. The top roles offered here are SDE, ASE, PAD and sales, .
Infrastructure: One of the major perks of our college is its infrastructure; it has a central library that can accommodate more than 400 students and an air-conditioned international library that can accommodate about 150 students. It also has departmental libraries that can accommodate 50 people each. The labs are fully equipped with laptops, Wi-Fi, and ACs. It also has Comes labs like AR/VR Lab, Google Lab, Research Lab, Robotics Lab, and other departmental labs. The whole campus is equipped with wi-fi. There is a dispensary in our college. It lacks stationary but has a food court, a small bakery, and numerous lawns. If you are into sports, you must visit this college once. The oldest hostels will not meet your expectations, but the new hostels are designed as apartments. The top-floor rooms are equipped with ACs.
Faculty: Few faculty members are highly experienced and helpful and have worked in top companies previously, while some faculty members lack experience and industry relevance. The course is somehow related to the industry. The college regularly conducts training and workshops for placements and different skills. The difficult of semester exams is easy to a medium. Almost 95% of students pass each semester.
Other: I chose this college as it was near to my home and had a reasonable fee and its placement. The things that can be changed in this college can be attendance relation and the inclusion of regular hackathons and teach competitions. It provides scholarships to the top 25 students whose family annual income is less than 2.5 LPA. It also has incubation centers, a swimming pool, and a gym. The crowd isn't that good; most of the students aren't involved in coding-related stuff. Fests and extracurricular activities are rare, one to two in a year. It is famous for participating in World Skills and its Center of Excellence.

I would say that from every perspective it is good enough.
Placements: This year, as per my information, 40-50% of students have gotten pre-placement offers, and others have also been placed in various companies like Wipro, TCS, Tata, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package to date—off-campus—is 51 lacs per annum, and on-campus, it is 11 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. More than 40% of students got internships in top companies like Tech Mahindra and Wipro. Top roles include software developer at Google and starting their own companies.
Infrastructure: Everything is available on campus, e.g., Wi-Fi, AC labs, a library, 10 hostels, 2 libraries, more than 200 faculty members, etc. The quality of the hostels is good, with good food, a mess that is cleaned every day, 24/7 medical facilities, and every sport available. If selected for a team, students can play in many inter-university tournaments.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. Students are not industry-ready for top positions, but they are ready for average packages. Semester exams are quite moderate to difficult. The passing percentage is divided into parts: for practicals, 23 out of 50 is a pass, and for theory, 40 out of 100 is a pass, which will be converted to 50 and added to the total marks.
Other: I got selected at NIT, but due to some personal problems, I was not able to go to that college. I was not getting into other colleges because it was very late, so I chose this college. I think the curriculum is for first-year B.Tech students. Fests and events are also conducted but only to a limit. The college is more focused on job placements. The campus is crowded. Connectivity is average. Scholarships are available. Many extracurricular activities are available.

Good infrastructure but Bad teachers.
Placements: The number of students placed in campus placements is very low. Even the core students are not able to secure a good placement. Due to various reasons, most of the companies coming to campus are mostly startups or companies with low offers, averaging about 3.5-4 LPA. It is very hard for the students to get an internship due to the outdated course structure.
Infrastructure: With a fairly large campus, the college is spread all over with disconnected buildings like fragments. The Wi-Fi is not reliable, but the college has a good network exception all across the campus. The classroom is equipped with smartboards. The condition of the hostel is not good.
Faculty: The knowledge of the teachers is not that well about their respected subjects, and some even lack the basic teaching skills. The course curriculum feels irrelevant to industry standards. The semester curriculum is very vast, which incorporates all the subjects that are in B.Tech, but the time period given with the faculty standard makes it difficult to score good marks.
Other: The college barely conducts any events with all the responsibility on the students, and even the funds required for those events are funded from college students.
