The best college for computer science department.

Placements: I got placed in Infosys. Not only me but also many students got placed on this campus. The placements are good for all the branches, but for computer and software students, almost every student gets placed in different companies. In short, all students from the computer and IT departments are placed. Now coming to my branch, maximum of students won't get placement because they are going for higher studies and for those who want placements, some of the companies like Indian Oil, L&T, etc., are co...

Very much satisfied with this college in terms of skill development.

Placements: The placements are good in this college for software branches like computer science, information technology, electronics and telecommunication. Many software companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc., visit the campus. Some of the core companies also come in this college like Bosch, Voltas, etc.

Satisfied with the concept to recognise the world requirements.

Placements: The placements are average nowadays. The annual package is 2.5-3 lacs per annum. The companies visited in this colleges were Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, BOSCH, BOSCH Infocom, Wipro, JK Laxmi Cement, Voltas, etc. There is a placement cell. The students were offered the career development training in business English communications, and various BOSCH industrial training were also given.

Sometimes, the students get disbarred due to lack of the attendance. Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: If we talk about the placements of our college, it is good, but most of the selected candidates are from CSE, IT and E&TC stream as all the software companies come for the campus drives. And for the other streams like EE, civil, mechanical and chemistry if one has the appropriate knowledge and skills, he/she might get a job in these companies too. The highest salary offered is nearly Rs. 4 lakhs to Rs. 4.5 lakhs in Bosch Rexroth. The average package offered is nearly Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 3.5 lakhs...

The best private college in Orissa for placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: More than 600 students got placed out of around 1000 students in our college in the year 2016. The same statistics for our senior batch also. Around 50 percent people got placed on-campus drive and 10-20 percent by off-campus drive. The highest salary offered is nearly 7 lakh per annum, and the lowest offered is 1.6 lacs per annum. The average salary offered is 3.25 lacs per annum. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, BOSCH and JFK papers are some major companies visit comes for the placements. The studen...

Be a part of CVRCE which helps you to build your better future.

Placements: The placements fully depend on the students, but the college is providing a lot of opportunities. The placement record is better than the other engineering college in Odisha. There are many companies visiting the campus like Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys and TechMahindra. The college is good, and you have to pay attention to it.

Good infrastructure, but faculty can be better

Placements: Companies like 6 to 7 came, on-campus and off-campus. 2 companies were not interested to hire mechanical students, still, if one scored exceptionally, they will be placed. SSEPL courses are only good if you got the good teachers. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Bosch and Rexroth and some more placement companies recruited candidates from our batch. Bosch and Rexroth classes are very interesting.

Good infrastructure, decent faculty and average placement.

Placements: The placement scenario is not that exciting. Just like any other private college, the placement here is done by the mass recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS and Tech Mahindra. These are service-based companies. The pay scale they offer is around 3.5-4.5 lakh per annum. If you are lucky enough you can grab some rare offers up to 6-7 LPA.

Review of CV Raman College of Engineering.

Placements: Nowadays, the placement plays an important role. Although the companies that visited the college are quite less, many of the students got placed. The placement percentage is better, as compared to other private colleges. In today's world, software is a major prospect, so the companies which visit to recruit the students are mostly software companies, and very few are core companies. The main companies which often visit the college and recruit most of the students are Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, B...

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the course fees. Bad core placement.

Placements: Basically, in the mechanical branch, the students get software or IT jobs, but very less get core mechanical jobs. For mechanical core, the companies are very few, I mean 4 to 5 companies visit, the maximum. They take a maximum of 20-25 students, where our total branch strength is 220. So, that's why student prefers IT sector where at least 70 to 80 students get a job offer from the mechanical branch. IT companies that visit are Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, etc. For core sector, Bos...

Good college if you don't compare it with the universities of national importance.

Placements: The placements offered in the college are good. Mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Cognizant visit the campus every year adding to the various core companies like Voltas, Tata steel, Sony and Bosch visit the campus for the recruitment. Sap offered the highest salary with Rs. 9LPA CTC and the lowest offered to be Rs. 3.2LPA.

C.V. Raman College of Engineering is the best private college in Odisha.

Placements: Now I'm in the first year. My cousin brother is in 4th year, and he always tells me to get more and more programming language knowledge because nowadays getting a placement is very difficult because of lots of students competing for jobs. Now, I have started learning the programming language so that in this competitive world, I can succeed. Placements: The placements of the college are good. Around 80% students got placed in the year 2016. The highest placement offer in 2015 was Rs. 9 lakhs in the SAP labs. The average package offered is Rs. 3.2 lakhs every year. The software companies do come to our college. Though there are not much core companies that come here, the core students get placed in the software companies. Some companies that visit our college are Infosys, Voltas, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc.

Placements: Many of our senior students who were eligible were placed in the big companies. The highest package offered was 5.0 lakh per annum and the average package offered was around 3.0 lakhs per annum. Many companies visited our college like voltas, vedanta, JK papers and Reliance. There were various students offered internships in the famous steel plants. Some were paid internships, and some were not.

A well-maintained college with a really good reputation in Eastern India

Placements: The placement here is meagre. Only 2-3 companies are invited to this college for recruitment, unlike other colleges where students have a choice to decide which company to go for. And moreover, the package is very low. Placement of senior batch was awful. 10% were placed. The highest package was 6.5 lacs per annum. Mostly programmer profile was offered.

Placements: They brought about five-six companies this year. Most of our seniors were placed but the placement went a little down this year due to the IT recession. But all in all, it gives 100% placements to deserving candidates. This year, Infosys, Wipro, Bosch, GGK Technology, UX Reactor, Cognizant, etc. companies visited our college.
