Actually I am very much satisfied with the infrastructure and extra curricular activities.

Placements: The students who are 100% eligible got placement. The highest salary offered was around 5 Lakhs per annum, and the average salary was around 3.5 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies like BOSCH, Infosys, Voltas, TATA Steel, Denso, Venda, Capgemini, Techmahindra, Cognizant visited our campus. Nearly every student joined as a junior worker as they had no experience earlier ahead. The highest salary offered was around 5 Lakhs per annum, and the average salary was around 3.5 lakhs per annum. ...

Best in infrastructure in comparison to other colleges in Odisha.

Placements: The placements of our seniors are very poor. This time, the percentage of students placed was below average. Ten members got placed from the electrical branch, seven of them were placed in Infosys and rest two of them in other campus placements. One of the students got placed in Infosys as well as Voltas. Our college also provides industrial training as it is connected with two most well-known companies, i.e. Bosch and Siemens. But this year, only one student from our electrical branch made it t...

Overall, an average college. But one should think twice before taken admission

Placements: Placement opportunities are there but no core companies were there for our final placement for my batch. It was the same also for our senior batch. For core and reputed companies, we had to sit in pool campus drives where there was a negligible chance of selection. Mostly, software companies came for the recruitment. Mass recruiters were Cognizant, Wipro and Infosys. The average salary package they offered was 3.3 LPA.

Pretty good experience of four years

Placements: Placement was decent for our batch in terms of percentage. Around 70 percent of our colleagues got placed in one or the other software company. The highest package offered was around 6 lakhs and the lowest was around 2.5 lakhs. Diverse roles were assigned to students like software developer, testing engineer, management trainee, etc.

A student-friendly and interactive college

Placements: The placement is good in this college and depends on companies, not the college. But, still this college provides good placement opportunities at this time and the placement was good. We examined a new way of sorting students who sit in placements. There were 3 rounds and each round some students get sorted. First, the round was a coding round where a student was given moderate questions which were not too hard but not too easy either. Here, they see students' coding ability, techniques and timi...

I am satisfied with this college. Because of its better infrastructure and placement, I will recomme

Placements: The placement opportunities are really nice. Most of the students are getting placed, especially from computer science and information technology branch. Many core companies also visited our college. Infosys, Tcs, wipro, bosch are the companies that frequently visit our college for recruitment. In 2015, when I was in the first year, most of the students were getting placed in more than two to three companies because, at that time, there was a mass recruitment. But, now things have been changed. ...

Good infrastructure, facilities, and placement.

Placements: Average placement. Simply, work hard and get placed. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Voltas, Bosch, etc. are some of the recruiters. The placement in 2015 was way too good for an engineering college. But it degraded in 2016 and is expected to increase in the coming years as the college has recently got autonomous and university certification. The only key to placement is hard work.

Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Tata Voltas, Bosch India, Robert Bosch, RSB Tranmissions, Tech Mahindra, Ux Reactor, Reliance Jio, Mindtree, Yourdley and many companies came to recruit students. A great college producing great engineers.

Placements: Placement in this college is for those students who truly deserve it. The students having very low CGPA shouldn't think about placement. The best students are selected in the campus placement but as it is a reputed college in Odisha, most of the students get placements on the campus or off the campus.

Placements: Like previous years, this year was also very good for the students in terms of job and placement. In spite of current downfall in IT market condition, our college promised to provide 90% of placement. Many MNCs like TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware, Adobe, Voltas, Schnider Electric, Bajaj Auto, TVS, JK Paper as well as new budding companies like Ux Reactor, Sankalp Semi-conductors, Gupta Power and Infrastructure Limited, Biz Technologies Private Ltd. took part in the recruitment process. ...

Best in class college with good infrastrucute and placements

Placements: There are good placements in the college. Around 500 out of 700 students are placed from my batch. We have a good training and placement cell for conducting the placements. The college also called a good number of companies for software people but for core branches like mechanical, we didn't have much scope in terms of placements.

Review of C.V. Raman College of Engineering.

Placements: If I speak on placements, there are more number of companies related to the IT field but on core, it is less. IT companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Capgemini and Cognizant are common but in core companies, Voltas and other arrange off-campus drives. In my view, ETC is the best branch for placements. CS and IT branches come up next and then others like mechanical, electrical and civil.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch, i.e the 2016 batch was fantastic. Out of 700 students in our senior batch, 550+ students got placed. Some of them got placed in all the three companies which visited the campus. In our 2017 batch, placements were a little low due to the recession. 150+ students got placed. Placements: Many top companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, etc came in the year 2015-2016 and recruited many students from all the branches for the information technology field. An average college, as per my view.

Placements: The college has good placement record but the placement graph shows a decrease in the last 3 years. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. visit our college every year. But the number of students they hire is also decreasing since the last 2-3 years. These companies don't provide good salary packages. Our college should bring in some good companies at least for those students who are well eligible for those companies.

Waste of money and time. Better be a non-technical graduate.

Placements: It has the worst placement scenario. They are just making money by opening the college and taking fees one way or the other. Only 2-3 companies visit the college and placements are very few. Only CS and IT companies visit and no core companies. One or two companies, if any, come for a pool campus drive. The core branches get nothing out of here.
