The college is good for education, but a bit expensive.

Placements: Placements for our batch on average was good. Almost 30% to 40% of students got placed. Most of them got 2 to 3 jobs in different companies with a salary package of 3 to 3.5 LPA. Rest of the students were not placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys visited our campus for placements. They offered the role of either a system engineer or system analyst.

Placements were good in 2015.

Placements: Placements were very good during our tenure. Many companies visited the campus for mass recruitment for the first time. Most of the students of our batch were placed in IT companies. I don't know about the salaries they offered. Internships were not given much importance.

It is a great college for engineering, especially for CS and IT branches.

Placements: More than 30 companies have already visited our college and more will be coming in the next month or so. Getting a job depends on the student and is about the efforts they make to get a job. No college can give you a guarantee of a job unless you are prepared.

Overall it is a good college securing an MHRD Rank of 89 in India.

Placements: College does give opportunities, and you should have the potential to grab it, and it depends on you. Placements of CSE and IT are very good, but when it comes to EE, Mech and Civil, it is not so good. Core companies rarely visit, but once you placed from EE or Mech, you seem that your job is better than CSE or IT. The central library is provided, and coaching also is given to GATE aspirants. For coaching, you have to pay an extra fee. You can refer to other sites as well for placements.

The students get internships, but they are unpaid.

The college is good. It can do a lot better by decreasing the intake of students.

Placements: The institute grooms students from the very beginning of the 1st year. The college provides various certification courses and conducts exams, it is up to the students to study and work hard. The placement scenario, although not 100%, but on an average, students can have at least 2 offers in hand.

Placements: The placements in our college are good compared to other colleges. Only 10% of the students from the electrical department get placed in core companies, and the others get placed in IT companies. The salary packages offered were good. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. I suggest you join this college.

Review of CV Raman College of Engineering.

Placements: In our college, the placements for our seniors are better than us. During our batch, the placements were very less. From the total college, a maximum of 200 students got placed including both on-campus and off-campus drives. Mainly Wipro and Infosys came to our college to recruit the students of our batch only, but not any other batch.

A good college with a few areas of internship assistance and senior hostels need to develop.

Placements: The placements for 2012-16 batch were decent. Most of the students were placed in the day-1 campus drive itself. Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant were among the top recruiters. In addition to the above, Bosch, Amazon, and Oracle were the big ones. The average salary package was around 5.5 LPA with a top at around 9 LPA, and bottom at 2.7 LPA.

Good faculty but need to do something about placement.

Placements: Placements are not so good. College didn't arrange good placements for students. They have to arrange their placements on their own after getting degree. The college somehow conducts good English classes and interview planning skills for appearing interview in different companies. The companies take as trainee then give promotion as per experience.

Absolutely satisfied with college as the placements are good.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE, IT and etc. branch. For other branches placement are not that good. Generally an average candidate lands on a package of 3.5-4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, cognizant are the main recruiters. But at the end of four years of your engineering, your skills will matter most for placement.

Great place for preparation in lieu of your future goals.

Placements: The college has a moderate placement record. This year, nearly 10 to 12 companies visited the campus for Mechanical branch, with an average package of 3.3 lac per annum. A student having appropriate set of skills is bound to get placed if he/she puts a bit of sincere effort from their side. If one has the desire and the traits, then he/she should't be bothered about this. It is quite definite that one would get placed.

Placements: Good as compare to other college. After B.Tech completion also they send mail regarding off camous. They give training on whatever is required to crack a interview. It was good in our batch but in our senior batch almost every one is placed. Almost everyone hold 2-3 jobs.
