Cachar College, Silchar is really good.
Placements: 35% of students were placed in our course. All chemical recruitment industries are available for our course. 5% of students got internships in the chemical industry. CEO roles are offered in our course. Very high-quality students are available in our college, and many facilities are available in our college.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is very beautiful. There is a garden in our hostel that is very awesome. Light, fan, and inverter are also available in our hostel. Wi-Fi and classrooms are available, but the library is not available. The food quality is very good, and the cook is also very good and clean.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Our teachers are friendly with us, and all teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. Yes, our semester exam duty is very tough, with 4 to 5 teachers in one room on exam duty. The pass percentage is 95%, and the results are also the best.

Not satisfied because of the old age syllabus.
Placements: There is zero percent chance of campus placement; no one gets an internship from this college; the syllabus is outdated and not relevant to new technologies; teachers do not take class regularly; there is no practical; the course is mainly based on theory.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities for boys who come from different parts of the district and other districts too. There are wi-fi facilities in college but the speed of the wi-fi is very slow. The labs are good and the canteen has limited items. There was a gym that opened for just two hours in my three years of college life.
Faculty: More than half of teachers are underpaid and inexperienced. Course curricula are not relevant, which does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams in the college are difficult, especially for science teachers, who are helpful but most of them don't have experience.
Other: I chose this course because I want to learn about science.
The syllabus should be practical-based and not memorizing-based.

I'm satisfied with the good infrastructure and facilities of our college.
Placements: Placement program was not organised in our college. Most of the students go for higher studies from different universities. There were 16 students in our department, but no one got placements or internships. Some of them went to higher studies at different universities, and some applied for different government jobs or other jobs.
Infrastructure: Labs available in the chemistry department were well maintained with the required chemicals and equipment. Lab assistant was very good. There was a separate library dedicated to the department along with the general library. The hostel was well maintained. The food served in the canteen was good and hygienic. First aid kit was available in the department. There were different games to play like chess, carrom, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our department were helpful. They provided good quality teaching. Even during lockdown, teachers helped students and provided knowledge through smartphones. The course curriculum was useful for higher studies. Semester exams were not difficult if students attend classes regularly as most of the things are discussed thoroughly in the class. Students can easily score good marks. The pass percentage in our department was 75%.
Other: I chose this course because it would be helpful in the future. I got to learn many things through this course. This course is not applicable in practical life. Our course should be modified so that students can be benefitted in their life and enjoy reading.

Our college is located in Assam.
Placements: About 96.33% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 30,000 per month, and the lowest package is 10,500 per month. 78% of students in B.Sc. got placed. I don't know about the companies because I passed out in 2021. I am pursuing masters now.
Infrastructure: There are 18 labs in our college. 75 classrooms are there. There is a library in our college. There is a canteen offering good food, and it is costly.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not so difficult in this college. I would recommend this college to others because our college is very good.
Other: I chose science with my interest. The best thing is that the teachers are very helpful.

Good teachers which matters a lot.
Placements: Placement is nowhere here. It is self-placement, forget about companies. It is you and only you who can get placed in this college. No one is going to come. I am studying right now for honors in mathematics in this college, and we lag teachers in our department. The college departments are not getting placements dude.
Infrastructure: It is above average. The bathroom is clean in our department, and also we keep it clean too. The library is at par with other colleges. The mess is messy, sadly it appears unclean.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and very helpful in every scenario for the student in the college. I remember when I lost my admit card during the form submission of my 2nd semester. And, they help me a lot with that regard.
