Perks of Studying at Calcutta National Medical College .
Placements: I'm still a first-year student, so I wouldn't be the best one to comment on the placement situation at our college on a first-hand basis. I've heard of instances from my seniors, and CNMC&H is undoubtedly one of the finest medical colleges to choose from in West Bengal.
Infrastructure: The lecture halls are extremely spacious, with a sloping seating arrangement that makes it easier for students to have a clear vision of the board. The classrooms are clean and well-ventilated. We have a few libraries within the college campus itself, with every possible book at our disposal. I haven't taken a hostel yet, so I won't be able to comment on the hostel facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and more than qualified. They are amicable and helpful, always ready to guide us, no matter the time or place. The course curriculum is relevant but a bit too vast, if you ask for my honest opinion. But again, if we are to complete a total of 19 subjects within a period of just 5.5 years, it's quite understandable. The course curriculum and the internship facilities definitely make the students ready to face patients in the real world. The semester exams are well above the average standard, with a vast syllabus to cover within a short period of time, along with practicals. The pass percentage is 50% (I know it sounds contradictory, but that's how it works in medical colleges).
Other: I knew right from my childhood days that I wanted to become a doctor. That's the reason for choosing this course. One of the best things about my course is that I get to be around the field I love and adore. I get to crawl closer to my dream job every day through this course. The only thing I'd wish for my course to improve would be the time span given to us for covering a professional year and giving us opportunities to do more hands-on activities than just reading up theories and not coming into close contact with the clinical cases at all.

Absolutely very good college for infrastructure, academics events, fest and patient load etc.
Placements: Most of the students get selected for Housestaffship and rest apply for General duty reserve medical officer and prepare for post graduation. Everyone got internship in our college. During internship they got 29000 stiped and housestaffship is 45000.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very well, the academic is awesome. Almost every department is present in our college. And the hostel facility is also well, 2 students per room with good room condition and separate boys and girl hostel. There is a good facility of water.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they are well qualified and they have many well-known degrees in their subjects. The semester exams are mostly difficult and, they have theory and practical and viva portions so it seems too difficult, but most of the student got pass in this exam.
Other: This is my dream course since my childhood and the best part is it is a very noble and respectful course. Separate room for the patient and their people are there. Our college is well known for our events called AGON and also many other events like swaraswati puja and new year reunion fresher etc. Events are also celebrated.
