"Great academic environment with active extracurricular, but needs infrastructures update.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is around 7 lacs per annum, and the average package is approximately 6 lacs per annum. The recruitment drives, with top recruiters such as Wipro, TCS, IBM, etc., result in 50% of students securing placement. Additionally, 50% of students participate in internships to gain practical exposure. Top roles offered for students are in software development, business analyst, lecturers, and management positions.

Infrastructure: Canara College has good infrastructure to support academic and extracurricular activities. The classrooms are decent enough to study, and the laboratories are well maintained and equipped with the latest technology. The library is resourceful, offering a vast collection of books, journals, and learning aids. Wi-Fi is available sometimes in the lab and on campus. The canteen offers a variety of snacks and meals at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are accessible. The college promotes games and sports, providing grounds and equipment for activities such as cricket, football, volleyball, and indoor games.

Faculty: The faculty members of Canara College are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. They employ effective teaching methods that help the students focus and do well on both theoretical and practical work. Extracurricular activities include NSS, NCC, youth red cross, fine arts, IT association, Tulu/Konkani sangha, sports, and games. Scholarships are available for meritorious and economically disadvantaged students.

It's a really good college.

Placements: I think this college provides 100% placements and lots of companies come for interviews. The average package is 5 LPA. The top companies like Wipro Infosys all come here. Most of the students get placed in IT companies and one of the best colleges everyone should look over.

Infrastructure: Library facilities are best because they have a variety of books collection and labs are well-maintained and clean. The canteen is the best area for students, they have yummy food. And this college also gives more importance to sports like volleyball, etc.

Faculty: Teaching is good and the best is they use modern technologies for teaching and they clear your doubts and they are really friendly. And overall, teaching is best here. Exams are easy if you study hard and most students pass in every exam.

Other: I was interested to join this course for a very long time because CS is my first subject, and this is the best course for sure.

It is a very good college with good teaching and campus.

Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA and the lowest salary package was 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies offered placements in this course. More than 80% of students got internships in our course at many top companies.

Infrastructure: Many facilities were available in our course. Labs were connected to high-speed Wi-Fi. Classrooms were well maintained. Library consisted of many books related to studies and others. Hostel was not available in our college. Canteen was well maintained and served fresh food. Many sports and games were available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful. Their teaching quality was very good and teach very well in an understandable manner. Semester exams were very difficult to pass. The pass percentage was 35%. Exams were conducted every month.

Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue my higher studies abroad. Many events and fests like college day, traditional day, annual day, etc., were organised in our college.
