Effectiveness of the Placement Cell for BBA Programs at CGC Jhanjeri

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's an overview of the placement cell's effectiveness for BBA programs at CGC Jhanjeri:

    * Placement opportunities: Students have reported getting placed in various companies, although the package may vary. Some have received high packages, while others have had lower ones.
    * College's role: While the college does not offer internships, students have mentioned that the faculty helps develop skills to secure better placements.
    * Placement process: Companies visit the Landran campus or Chandigarh University for recruitment purposes.
    * Competition: The number of students competing for limited slots might lead to varying salaries offered by different companies.
    * Average package: According to one review, the average salary package offered is less than INR5 Lacs per annum.

In summary, the placement cell at CGC Jhanjeri seems to provide decent placement opportunities, but the outcome largely depends on individual skills and the competition faced. Expectations have gone in vain regarding my college life.
Placements: I am currently pursuing my graduation but the reality of placements at our college is in our front by looking at our seniors. The average salary package offered in our course is around 3 LPA. Top roles offered are sales, marketing, and human resource manager.
Infrastructure: Our college has average infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility available. Classrooms are average. The library has good infrastructure but lacks hard copy notes and is suggested for E-material by excusing the use of technology. There is a lack of practical ability and asking for fees in advance every time.
Faculty: Teachers are not highly experienced. They are specialized in some subjects. They are asked to teach other subjects than specializations. The practical knowledge regarding our course is not up to the mark. Semester exams are prepared by self-study. Results are unpredictable.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in the finance and commerce field. The best things about this course are the advancement in personality and rationale in your specialized fields. Industrial visits are provided on a regular basis. The film promotions are majorly taking place.

It is a good college. Faculty members and college life are awesome, but the management is not good.
Placements: Placements are good. Most students who perform well in interviews and placement drives get good packages. My friend got a salary package of 8 LPA. Our college has a bit of value for money. The salary package offered in an MBA program is not justified. They only offer packages below 8 LPA for an MBA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi functionality is not good on campus. The hostel is good. The food is not very good. There are no proper clean washrooms. The staff and everything else are good.
Faculty: Overall the curriculum is good. The study is average. They ask for fees for the next semester even before the current semester ends. They don't give admit cards if fees are not paid. Teachers at the college are very supportive. They always motivate students. Our teachers and mentors are supportive and helpful, but the management needs changes.

The infrastructure and placement is good.
Placements: The packages offered by this college are average. The highest package is 45.5 lakh, and the average package is 5 to 6 lakh. However, this college does conduct various placement drives and industrial visits, which are important and very useful for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good, and the faculty is very supportive. They are always there for us in every situation, which gives us confidence in the college. They also provide notes on time. We thank them for all they do for us.
Faculty: The semester exams are not that difficult, but the time period for the semester exams is very short. The exams are held every three months, which doesn't give us enough time to study and develop our knowledge. If the semester exams were spread out, it would be better for us.
Other: Because we don't have another option.

A good college with the best infrastructure.
Placements: All placements for a student who chooses to train are handled by a particular department called DCPD. Training is offered in a variety of disciplines by the department, including QA, logical reasoning, soft skills, language proficiency, and coding. Depending on the course, this training has an additional cost, however it is optional. Last year, the maximum salary package offered was 45.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available for both staff and students across the entire campus. While labs have air conditioning, classrooms do not. The library allows students to get a maximum of two books at once. However, sometimes it can be challenging to get particular books like maths. Depending on the cost, hostel rooms may or may not have air conditioning. Medical facilities are super. Additionally, there are possibilities to take part in sports events.
Faculty: This college has incredibly competent, helpful, educated, and knowledgeable teachers. In addition to the courses being highly instructive, they help students in any manner they can. Semester exams are challenging, but students can succeed in them if they study. The majority of students continuously attain a CGPA above 7, and the pass rate is beyond 4.

    Good infrastructure from outside only.
Placements: The college offers good placements based on a student's skills and grades. The number of recruiting companies has increased in the past, and the average placement rate has risen. The DCPD also provides guidance on how to present ourselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The exterior is attractive, and the grounds are clean and have lots of trees. However, the classrooms are not up to the mark, as they are congested and lack air conditioning.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are mostly helpful and provide information about topics in an innovative and descriptive way. The course curriculum is relevant and does make students industry-ready. The semester exams are average and above sometimes, and the passing percentage is correct.

Every thing is best in this college.
Placements: I think the number of companies coming for placements has increased compared to previous years. Also, the college has a department dedicated to preparing students for placement drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is great. The exterior of the buildings is attractive, and the grounds are well-landscaped with trees and other plants. However, the classrooms are small and crowded, and air conditioning is not provided.
Faculty: The faculty at this college is the best. They help students in many ways, including taking care of each student in the class. If a student has an issue, the faculty tries to resolve it as soon as possible. The faculty is great, and the teachers are qualified to make sure that students understand the topics and subjects.
    Other: No
