B.A. in Economics with Data Science - Batch of 2027

My college is great in terms of infrastructure and the type of quality food we get.
Placements: The average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Deloitte, etc., companies visit the college. Only a few students got roles like research analyst, data analyst, data scientist, financial analyst, etc. Many companies offer placements. Many students got internships including our seniors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is marvellous. I am a day scholar, so I don't know the condition of the mess or hostel. It is average. Sports and games facilities are hygienic and quite nice with a bunch of co-curricular activities and clubs to join.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They sometimes get guest faculty members for our own good. There are around 12 faculty members. We have a module system to remove the burden from us. Exams are coming ducted judiciously and also sometimes online. Teachers are the best.

BBA in Business Analytics - Batch of 2027
4.2

A must-visit university, amazing infrastructure.
Placements: The placements not only depend upon the percentage from which a person gets passed out but their overall personality and skills matter a lot. If they have a good percentage and additional skills that make them stand apart from the crowd, there is a high chance of getting placement. Top companies like Amazon, KPMG, Infosys, Ernst & Young, Wipro.
Infrastructure: There is a newly built block for BBA students; the department from the inside looks very beautiful. Classrooms have AC and smart boards, and the desks are beautifully designed. The hostel has laundry, mess, and helpers for cleaning the rooms. The food in the mess is good on alternate days; some days the food is tasty, and some days it’s average. For those who want to eat food other than the mess, they can go to Square One. Many food outlets are there, like Domino's, Lapino’s, Keventers, South Circle, Barista, etc. There is a separate area for tennis, skating, gym, badminton, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and take the initiative to solve any problem faced by the students. The teaching quality is good and professional. The course makes students industry-ready through the interaction of the students with outside industrialists. The semester exams are held online, and the difficulty level is not much if studied properly.
Other: I personally chose this course because it gives insights into business and how to run it using the upcoming AI technology. The best thing about the course is it makes you industry-ready through the subjects. There is more practical knowledge rather than theoretical. There are N number of events and fests in the university.

Integrated BBA - MBA (IPM) - Batch of 2027
3.6

Moderately satisfied, would not recommend anyone to join this college.
Placements: Chitkara University has a strong track record for placements in various courses, with placement percentage ranging from 85% to 100%, depending on the discipline. For many programs, the highest package offered exceeds 40 LPA, while the average ranges between 7-12 LPA, and the lowest is typically around 3-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Google, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS, offering roles in domains like software development, data analytics, consulting, and management. Internships are also a highlight, with over 90% of students securing internships. Companies such as Microsoft, SAP, and KPMG frequently onboard interns, providing hands-on industry experience. Top roles offered in courses include Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Business Consultant, and UI/UX Designer, showcasing the university’s alignment with market needs.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for our course/department are top-notch, with high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the campus, well-equipped labs for practical learning, spacious and air-conditioned classrooms, and a modern library stocked with books, journals, and digital resources. Hostel facilities are well-maintained, with clean rooms, laundry services, and proper security measures. The mess offers nutritious and diverse food options, catering to both local and multi-cuisine preferences, while the canteen serves quick snacks. Medical facilities include an on-campus dispensary with qualified staff, and sports enthusiasts can enjoy well-maintained grounds for football, cricket, basketball, and indoor games like table tennis and chess. Overall, the amenities ensure a comfortable and enriching campus experience.
Faculty: The teachers at Chitkara University are moderately helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, ensuring basic academic guidance but leaving room for improvement in mentorship. The teaching quality is decent, but some students feel it could be more engaging. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, offering industry-aligned topics but lacking depth in practical applications. While it helps students get a foundation, additional self-study is often required to be fully industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, designed to test understanding rather than rote learning. With consistent effort, most students manage to clear them, and the pass percentage is approximately 85-90%. Overall, the academic experience aligns with a 3 out of 5-star rating.

BBA in Business Analytics - Batch of 2026

I am very well satisfied with the college and the amount of fests that happen.
Placements: Almost a large percentage of students were placed during the last years. I don't know the exact number, but yes, Infosys etc. The placements are good, and the students are satisfied. The placements are normally in Gurgaon and Chandigarh for the most reach in the hubs of the companies.
Infrastructure: There are all the facilities in our department and university itself, all the labs and classrooms. The hostel is good to live in, but the food is a bit hasty for the students, and it can get better. There is a different block only for games too; the block name is Exploratorium.
Faculty: The faculty members are very nice and helpful. The university itself arranges extra-curricular activities, such as VAC (Value Added Courses). The semester exams are not that difficult, as they always come from the syllabus that has been taught in the class.
Other: There should not be online exams, as students don't take any of the exams seriously. The events and fests that are organized are very good but yet very crowded.

MBA in Human Resource Management - Batch of 2026

Review of Chitkara Business School.
Placements: My course is MBA in HR, where our university strives to provide 100% placements to students and all of them got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA. The average salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are EY, KPMG, Wipro, Infosys, and many more. They aim to provide internships to 100% of students in the course. About 90% of them get PIP in it and others get placed during placement time. Internship companies remain the same. Top roles include talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our building and labs is top-notch. Everything provided here is up-to-date. Wi-Fi facility is also available. There are two libraries, one for my department and another for everyone. Hostel facilities are not top-notch. Food quality is not very good and is sometimes tasteless. Sports, games, medical facilities and canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers and mentors come from top-notch industries, where they are all industry experts and are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. My curriculum is highly relevant to my course, as it provides comprehensive knowledge of MBA HR. They also provide technical and practical knowledge of the curriculum. Semesters are not conducted here we work on a modular system, and exams are held every week. The passing percentage depends on the teacher and their style of conducting exams, whether practical or theoretical.
Other: I chose this course here because they provide practical knowledge. My interests and skills are the best fit for this course, as I have both technical and practical skills. I don't see any need for improvement because everything is excellent, but if I to suggest a change, it would be to replace some theoretical teachers. Events, fests, and the campus crowd are really nice, with numerous events and famous personalities coming here for concerts. Extracurricular activities are abundant, with various clubs where every student can explore their potential according to their interests.

BBA in Fintech - Batch of 2025
3.6
3Placements5Infrastructure3Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Surely good for the other courses but I recommend to not choose fintech.
Placements: Placements are good in this course but only when you have a good resume with an intellectual knowledge and a good CGPA of above 9. The highest package offered is 3 Lacs and the lowest is 1 lac, but it totally depends upon the companies. Mostly, in placements, the students are recruited by local companies and least by big ones.
Infrastructure: Only problem the students face here in the campus is the speed of Wi-Fi and it’s connectivity. The best part about being business students is that you will have to wear formals every Wednesday. The infrastructure of the block is a replica of NISM campus block. You will surely love the infrastructure here and the way the classes are made.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified being Ph.D. holders. Subjects that we are studying in the Fintech course are not that relevant to fintech. But workshops and other sessions help a lot to gain industrial knowledge. Passing percentage is 40%. Exams are easy to pass if you have studied throughout the modules.
Other: Best thing about this course is that it is now at hype in the market as well as in job sector. The thing I wish would be a change is the inclusion of more practical subjects introduced to us. Events and fest are the best part of this University.
