Q:   Can I join Chitkara Business School, Chandigarh directly?

A: 

Candidates for direct admission may apply under the management quota and as NRIs.Candidates with a three-year engineering Diploma or an equivalent degree can be admitted directly to the second year (3rd semester) through the Lateral Entry program. DIRECT ADMISSION TO THE SECOND YEAR IS AVAILABLE IN THE FOLLOWING STREAMS: It is not required to take the CUET in Computer Science and Engineering to be admitted to Chitkara University. When admitting students, Chitkara University takes into account a number of variables, such as the student's extracurricular activity, academic standing in classes 10 and 12, and performance on any other pertinent entrance exams.

A: 

Admission to MBA in Chitkara University is based on merit ranking in entrance exams, including CAT, MAT, NMAT, etc. However, Candidates who hasn't appear for the entrance exams can opt for Chitkara University Test, followed by group discussion and personal Interview. Q:   What is the selection process for MBA and what is the minimum CAT percentile required?

A: 

Admission to the MBA programme at Chitkara Business School will be based only on the merit ranking in CAT/ XAT/MAT/ CMAT, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. The GD/ PI/ Micro Presentation will be conducted as communicated. All candidates are advised to go through counseling/admission instructions very carefully.

Graduates in BCA/ BSc IT/ BSc Computer Science with minimum 55% marks and should have passed Mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12th/Graduation. Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks

The CAT cut offs for admission to top MBA colleges such as FMS, MDI, SPJIMR among others, range from 90 to 99 percentile.

I am very well satisfied with the college and the amount of fests that happen.
Placements: Almost a large percentage of students were placed during the last years. I don't know the exact number, but yes, Infosys etc. The placements are good, and the students are satisfied. The placements are normally in Gurgaon and Chandigarh for the most reach in the hubs of the companies.
Infrastructure: There are all the facilities in our department and university itself, all the labs and classrooms. The hostel is good to live in, but the food is a bit hasty for the students, and it can get better. There is a different block only for games too; the block name is Exploratorium.
Faculty: The faculty members are very nice and helpful. The university itself arranges extra-curricular activities, such as VAC (Value Added Courses). The semester exams are not that difficult, as they always come from the syllabus that has been taught in the class.
Other: There should not be online exams, as students don't take any of the exams seriously. The events and fests that are organized are very good but yet very crowded.

Review of Chitkara Business School.
Placements: My course is MBA in HR, where our university strives to provide 100% placements to students and all of them got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA. The average salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are EY, KPMG, Wipro, Infosys, and many more. They aim to provide internships to 100% of students in the course. About 90% of them get PIP in it and others get placed during placement time. Internship companies remain the same. Top roles include talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our building and labs is top-notch. Everything provided here is up-to-date. Wi-Fi facility is also available. There are two libraries, one for my department and another for everyone. Hostel facilities are not top-notch. Food quality is not very good and is sometimes tasteless. Sports, games, medical facilities and canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers and mentors come from top-notch industries, where they are all industry experts and are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. My curriculum is highly relevant to my course, as it provides comprehensive knowledge of MBA HR. They also provide technical and practical knowledge of the curriculum. Semesters are not conducted here we work on a modular system, and exams are held every week. The passing percentage depends on the teacher and their style of conducting exams, whether practical or theoretical.
Other: I chose this course here because they provide practical knowledge. My interests and skills are the best fit for this course, as I have both technical and practical skills. I don't see any need for improvement because everything is excellent, but if I to suggest a change, it would be to replace some theoretical teachers. Events, fests, and the campus crowd are really nice, with numerous events and famous personalities coming here for concerts. Extracurricular activities are abundant, with various clubs where every student can explore their potential according to their interests.

Decent placement opportunities.
Placements: The placements needs improvement. The highest package offered by the college is 24 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Around 80-85% of the students get the placements. Internships are offered to students from their 3rd sem. Top recruiting companies are paytm, rapid, amul, antal, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides outstanding facilities such as smart classrooms, libraries, computer labs, Wi-Fi, etc. Hostels are well maintained and the mess and canteen offers variety of foods. Sports teaching is available. Medical facility is available in the college.
Faculty: The professors are well qualified, experienced and knowledgeable, they help us with our problems regarding studies. The course curriculum is relevant and it does makes us ready for the industry. We need minimum 40% to pass in a semester and exams are not too hard.

Good teaching faculty, iam satisfied.
Placements: Nearly 80% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 Lacs per annum. The lowest salary package offered is 5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies Accenture and Asian Paints. The top roles offered is Managing Director and Marketing Manager. Around 65% of students got internship.
Infrastructure: The university provide good hostel facilities. The separate hostel for boys and girls. The food is very tasty. The hot water available. The canteen also available. The infrastructure is awesome. The classrooms are neat and beautiful. The labs are good. The many books available in library. The Wi-Fi enable.
Faculty: The all teacher are well qualified. They have good knowledge. They teaching quality is good. They lots of experience. They clarify our doubts. They teach in a good manner. They are very friendly. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject. The semester exams difficult and the pass percentage is 70%.

Best University I got for education.
Placements: The percentage of students placed successfully in Chitkara University is 93%. In our course, 84% of students were placed. The highest package offered is 53 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 to 5 LPA. The average package offered is 10 to 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course are KPMG, EY, ITC, HCL, Airtel, and many others. The students got internship opportunities at 97% in our course, based on skills, with stipends provided.
Infrastructure: Chitkara University has modern infrastructure and an amazing environment in our college. Many facilities are provided to all students, and in our department, facilities are Wi-Fi with good speed and labs which are well-equipped. Classrooms are spacious. The library has a large number of books. The food in the canteen is good, and the mess is also good. The hostel has the best facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified with Ph.D. and Masters degrees as their graduation. They support us and motivate us in studies as well as sports. The course curriculum is relevant to business management. The semester exams are hard to pass. The passing percentage is 95%.
