Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of Christ Delhi NCR?

A:
{Source: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni]

Christ University, Delhi NCRCampus provides a well-rounded experience for its students. The college has strict timing restrictions for extracurricular activities and dress codes are enforced for both students and faculty. Sports facilities are available along with additional expenses for books, compulsory courses, and eating out. College events keep the students busy with over three to five weekly events. The mess food is reportedly of good quality and variety, and attendance policies are strictly enforced. The college culture is predominantly English speaking, and there is a diverse student population from various states. Academically, the schedule is relatively hectic with regular exams and practical discussions based on case studies. There are also guards and CCTV cameras present throughout the campus for security purposes. Ragging is not tolerated and students found guilty will be rusticated. To leave the hostel premises, students require permission from the authorities. Overall, the college is accessible and located near public transportation stands.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college is well-equipped and satisfactory. All the reviewers agree that the college has a well-stocked library, active Wi-Fi, clean classrooms and washrooms and sports facilities such as football and basketball grounds. Some reviewers mention that the hostel facilities are of high quality, similar to 5-star hotels. However, one reviewer notes that the food served in the mess is not very good. Additionally, some reviewers mention that the college could improve its sports facilities, particularly for cricket and volleyball.

Summary: The college has good infrastructure, including a well-stocked library, active Wi-Fi, clean classrooms and washrooms and sports facilities. However, the food served in the mess could be improved and the college may benefit from additional sports facilities, especially for cricket and volleyball.

Good infrastructure but strict environment.
Placements: We haven't had student placements yet as it's a fairly new campus opened by Christ. Although, it's the word of mouth that says that the placements will be pretty good as it has the Christ brand tag. The recruiters from Christ Bangalore also come to this campus, so that's a plus point.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructural facilities are pretty amazing. The college has a library, active Wi-Fi, labs, clean classrooms and washrooms. The food available at the canteen is fairly cheap and hygienic. The sports and medical facilities are pretty good too. The hostels are like 5 star hotels with fair on time services.
Faculty: The professors are okay, there are number of research scholars and all of them are pretty qualified. They are way too strict and do not listen to the students, atleast in LL.B. course. But in other courses, they are a little more easy on the students.

This college gives excellence and service to their students.
Placements: We are the first batch of Delhi NCR campus so I could not share anything about placements. Students have to help themself to get placed in a good place but not a company or a firm. In the Bangalore campus, companies like Apple, Facebook and Google are visiting here and giving placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities like a moot courtroom, legal aid room, air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi, etc., are available for the students. I am live nearby the college, so I do not know about the hostel facility. But listening to my friend's hostel life is good. Food served in the mess is not that much good. There is a separate medical room. There are a football and basketball ground for the students.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is very good. They are well-qualified. Teaching pattern is conceptual and as well as practical. There is a regular revision before going to the next topic. Faculty members are very helpful as they invite us in their cabin for any query. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to go to the judiciary and corporate sector. They should decrease the pressure or burden in terms of extracurricular activities. Many events, like Darpan, Denovo, Blossoms, etc., are organised at our college.

Academics of Christ Delhi.
Placements: The School of Law at Christ Delhi is quite new, and currently, only two batches have passed out. Most students secure their PPOs, though the college is working hard to increase placements and bring companies to campus. Internships are good in the college, both from the college side and students.
Infrastructure: Everything a student might need is available as essentials. There is a very good library with a wide range of books, canteens, cafes, etc. There are no on-campus hostels; instead, hostels are in the same colony. We prefer PG accommodations rather than hostels due to restrictions.
Faculty: The curriculum is similar to that of NLUs, and sometimes it is even stricter. The faculty is a mix of good and bad, depending on the individual. Semester exams occur twice in a semester: mid-semester and end-semester, with two internal assessments in between. Exams are not immaculately tough but not easy either.

There is room for improvement in just about everything about the college
Placements: My expectations in relation to placements are not so high considering the recent placements of the MBA batch that was offered. 100 percent students got internships in Supreme Court, High Court and various District Courts which were quite helpful for the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite adequate according to the needs of course curriculum but still it could have been better. The campus is a WiFi zone and Law Department also has a Moot Court which gives a real life experience of Court Cases to the students.
Faculty: The teachers are below average according to the standards of the law schools about and around. Due to it being the first year of UG courses in this campus we face a lot of things that other colleges don't have to. The course curriculum is fine, there are some papers that are very interesting, like 'law and medicine' but the teaching methods are not upto the mark.
Other: Everything can be better, there is always room for improvement in just about every facet of life.

Pros and cons of joining CHRIST University Delhi NCR campus
Placements: Ans 1)30% Ans 2)3LPA-8LPA Ans3)SaiKrishna & Associates Singhania and Partners JSagar&Associates Cyril Amarchand &Mangaldas Ans 4) 100% students got internship Few interened under HC/SC Judges, Oyhers Interened at Law Firms and Law Chambers Places of Internship-Saikrishna& Associates, Khaitan &Co, Singhania and Partners, Luthra & Luthra, Kia LLP etc Ans 5) Legal Associate
Infrastructure: Ans1)Our College has a well equipped Library and Hostel with 24 hrs Power Supply and are equipped with Wi-Fi, The Classrooms are big enough to accomodate 70 students and have ACs as well. The entire campus is lush green and has a great infrastructure. Ans2) Hostels are Fully equipped with all modern facilities, the rooms availabe are like double and triple sharing and are available on first come first serve basis.
Faculty: Ans1) The teachers are relatively new to the field of teaching and lack a little experience but then they have great explanation technique and are able to explain the concepts really well. Few experienced teachers are also there. The teaching quality is overall very descent and above average better than many NLUs and Pvt Law colleges out there Ans2) Yes the curriculum is completely upto date, electives are also offered to the students according to their interest. It completely makes the student industry ready they focus more on classroom teaching than internships however one gets to intern for 2 months in a year. The semester exams are not very difficult and students eho study seriously pass the exams however they do not give marks in free one needs to have conceptual clarity inorder to fetch good marks. The pass percentage is around 90%
Other: Law is a noble profession and has great earning potential inorder to serve the society and fight for other's right I chose this course. The course however needs to have few changes like the syllabus needs to be same through out the country across all colleges and the duration of internship needs to expand CHRIST has a rich campus life and great curricular amd extracurricular facilities from sports to damce singing everything has a club and students can be it's part and can show theor potential in it.

Good infrastructure and facilities, but placements cannot be guaranteed .
Placements: As the first law batch has just passed out in the year 2024, I cannot tell you much about placements. As of now, there are not many companies to take the graduation batch. However, most of them are now interning at pretty good levels, even though the same can be attributed to their personal connections.
Infrastructure: The library and labs are pretty good. If it's for the law course, we have a pretty good moot court hall, a lawyer incubation room, and a legal aid clinic room. All of these are exclusively for use by law students. The hostel is off-campus and there is no separate canteen. The college canteen is open until 9.
Faculty: The faculty keeps changing and it's honestly a 50-50 situation, as some are extremely good, even scholarly, if I may and the others are pretty average. The exams are pretty good, with standard question papers and timely conduct. The curriculum is also pretty relevant and is changed according to the dynamic nature of the lawns in our country.
Other: As a fairly new campus and as one which is always subjected to comparison with the BLR, this one does fare pretty well. The campus garden are a feast for the eyes, especially in February. Various eateries cater to different taste-buds. The locality, though, is pretty-much in contrast with all that I described above. It's in a remote Ghaziabad village, for starters and there are no great eateries nearby, although Swiggy and Zomato will be there for your rescue. The locals are unpredictable—welcoming at times and intimidating otherwise.
