Short note on city college.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement in any course, so there is no highest, lowest, or average package offered in our course. Also, there are no top recruiting companies. Our college doesn't provide any internship in any field, but if any student wants to do an internship, they can do it on their own. There are no roles offered in our course.

College is best for those who are persuing CA/CMA but not for others.

Placements: Our college do not provide any placements. So there is no highest or lowest average package offered. And also no top recruiting companies. We dont get any internship from college side we need to find internship on our own. This college doesn't ask for attendance.

I would recommend this college to those who wants to pursue CA other wise no .

Placements: City college of commerce and business administration is best for those students who are perusing CA, CS, CMA in Kolkata as this college don't ask for attendance. We only visit college when we have or exams or to get admit card. City college doesn't guarantee any placement. So there is no highest or the lowest average package or top recruiting companies.

You can build your career because there is no pressure here.

Placements: They don't offer any kind of placement or internship. But if you are hardworking and smart, then take the help of the teachers for guidance. You can work under an accountant for an internship while you are completing the course so that you have experience to build your career.

Absolutely value for money. Fairly good faculty, Fair enough considering the cost of study.

Placements: This college does not provide any placement. One should apply for jobs after completing the courses. Because it is a government-sponsored college the only disadvantage is that you won't get that attention from the teachers. You have to take care of your studies and have to get knowledge and advice from wherever you get.

Our college is the best for B.Com (H).

Placements: The passing percentage is 78%. I heard from my seniors that most of the students got placed with great packages. The top companies like JSW, Wipro, etc., offered placements.

On an average, the college is value for money.

Placements: There is no placement facility in this course of this college. However, by next year, maybe, they will start the placement programme. There is no internship provided by the college. After pursuing this course, you have to find a job by yourself.

It is a good college, but people will definitely choose others like St. Xavier's or Goenka College.

Placements: A minimum number of students is placed. The highest salary package offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The top recruiting company is ICICI Bank. None of the students got internships. The top role offered is credit officer. Only one company came to the campus. No proper information was provided to students.

I enjoy my college life very much.

Placements: The placements depend on students as the course is based on Calcutta University. B.Com is a demanding course now. So, a lot of good companies are recruiting. 20% of students got internships.

City College is best for financially middle-class students as it charges less fee.

Placements: There were many students in our college, and most of them have 80% of marks or more. The highest salary was offered in B.Sc. I am a B.Com student, so I don't know the actual highest salary offered, but it might be around Rs. 25,000 to 30,000 per month. Most of the students studying here belong to B.Com.

Review of City College, Kolkata.

Placements: As it is a government college, there is no placement cell. However, students in our college are taught how to score good marks. Moreover, after passing out, most of the students got a chance to get placed in FMCG companies and also in different private companies. It is the same case for internships. The best course offered in our college is B.Com (Honors) course.

Review of City College, Kolkata.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students from our course were placed. A business manager is one of the roles that would be offered to 90% of the students of our course, but it was offered when no company was recruiting students from our college. Top roles offered are CA, and banking roles are offered in our course.

I would rate this college 2.5 out of 5, and I was a bit dissatisfied.

Placements: City College of Commerce and Business Administration is situated in the heart of Kolkata, i.e., College Street. The college is an evening college and the day college is named Umes Chandra. However, both of them are the same except for the management and the working committee. College doesn't provide any placements. People who aim to be a CA and want to skip the pressure of moving to college daily can opt for this college. Stay away from the party and politics of this college.

I am satisfied with the college management work, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Students got internships from college. They were given the roles of sales trainee with an average stipend of Rs. 9,000-10,000 per month. Insurance companies, mutual fund companies and stockbroking houses offered jobs as a sales trainee, assistant sales managers, etc. Many students who completed masters of art sections were offered jobs as teachers in schools.

My review regarding what I felt.

Placements: Not much placement were offered. I have never seen any good companies from last 2 years. The percentage of the students placed is nearly 10 to 15 percent. There is no internship programmes. The campus was not worth if a person wants a proper Bachelor degree.

It’s a nice college for science, arts & commerce. The building is of 120 years old but the education of this college is very good. The fees structures is very nominal in each stream. The cultural side of this college is also very good. The faculty of this college is very good as well as very friendly.

Hey Guys. I am a graduate from this college but I would not recommend this college to anyone. It’s an average college and very much of attendance needed. Good for those who want only to do B.com. If you are thinking of doing C.A or C.S or any other course like this please try in some other college.

It was not a good experience. But I kind a enjoyed it because of my friends.

Placements: No one was selected. Because none of the companies had visited. We don't have any clue that the companies will visit.

I suggest that only those students who stay near Collect Street should take admission here.

Placements: I didn't get any placement through our college, and I did not put any extra efforts to get the job. I am an academically average student, so I didn't get extraordinary marks in my course.
