I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: Our college does not provide proper training for attending placements. No significance is provided by campus drives. There are no campus drives. Students got placed in other colleges.

Review of City Engineering College (CEC, Banglore).

Placements: In our civil batch, there are only 15 students in total, but no one got placed. In CSE, there are about 65 students, and almost 80% of them got placed in companies like Computacenter India Pvt., Ltd., Bosch, Synchrony Technologies etc.

I am not satisfied with their approach to engineering life and career.

Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered is 3 LPA. TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies. There is a less percentage of students who get internships from our college, and not in good companies.

Best faculty and minimal infrastructure.

Placements: There were no people placed from our course but about 20-30% of them were placed to the IT sector from the whole passing out batch. The average package offered was 3-4Lpa. No internships provided for the whole batch. And no placement trainings provided.

The college is the worst. Dissatisfied because of the placements in 2013.

Placements: In 2013, the college provided only a few placement opportunities. The college did not work for our placements. Overall, it was the worst experience at CEC. Only five students from our batch were placed, and the college doesn't even provide any internship opportunities. The college has a placement cell which is present just for formality. The placement cell didn't even provide good opportunities.

It is an average college because of improper compound and maintenance.

Placements: As per my knowledge, our college placements are good. Our college also provides the coaching required for the placements. But, seniors say that they are not getting proper placements, and they are cheated by the college. The college management is telling that they are giving good placements to the students who are passing out.

Dissatisfied with the unqualified lecturers and poor management.

Placements: The placements were bad until the year 2016. The percentage of placement increased drastically just because of Mr Deepak Sir. He was our placement officer, and I would like to thank him for being responsible. I was placed on Prowess IT solutions.

Good for CSE & IT courses. Dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: They will provide the placement opportunities, and we have to grab them, but the placements are only for the students who secured more than 60% and above. The average salary offered is 2.8 lacs per annum for many students. The highest package is around 6 lacs per annum.

Don't do engineering if you aren't interested. Do something different in which you have interest.

Placements: The placements are not good. If by chance you get placed then the placement cell and the principal will ask money for your job. It is a consultant type college. As I have seen much difficulty during my placement's time, I suggest you not to join engineering. It is better to do something else.

Only IT students get placements.

Placements: Since ours is the IT branch, the placements for our branch are somewhat okay. About 20-30% of the IT students get placed in different companies. Training for interview and recruitment are regularly given to the students by the experts. The highest package was about 4 lpa and the lowest was about 2 lpa for our seniors who had been placed.

City Engineering College is somewhat okay.

Placements: The placements in our college are not so good. It's in the worst condition. None of our seniors got placed in any company. They are still searching for jobs by themselves or are continuing their education. If by chance they got placed, they got a maximum package of only about 3 lakhs per annum.

City Engineering College is only for our BE graduation

Placements: Our college is only for graduating, and students have to look for jobs by themselves. Placements are most likely 0% since none of the companies visit our campus for recruitment. From our academics, internships are compulsory and our college only gives the permission of internships; we have to find them on our own.

City Engineering College is overall an average college for students, who are from middleclass family

Placements: There is a good number of placements in college for computer science engineering, information science engineering and electronics and communication engineering students. But very few placements are there for other branches like mechanical and civil. They provide placements for mechanical and civil for other than core companies too. They provide good placement training sessions as well.

The college is known for its technologically inclined teaching methods. Labs are well equipped, pedagogy is done through classroom teaching and interaction. Placements are improving annually with IT recruiters the main firms visiting the college. The fee structure is also average with a good enough return on investment at least for the top 20-30% crowd, and sports and other cultural activities are encouraged with a yearly youth fest for sports. Faculty is above average and good at conceptual tea...

College campus is average but Faculty members are helpful for getting marks but they have to improve their teaching skills. Good place to enjoy with friends, college life we can enjoy by joining this college. So guys enjoy but think about feature because you can't expect campus. It's your ability to search job matters a lot. Hope you enjoy the college by bunking the classes.

Well, coaching is good. Lecturers are supportive. But placement point of view, we get no placements at all. But now my juniors are getting so many campus opportunities. To summarise, I would suggest people to join some better college where there is a decent crowd and a good campus.
