It is worth reading in this college. All teachers and staff members are supportive and friendly.

Placements: There are around 73 students in our class. The highest salary package offered is about 9 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 85% of the students got internships from our course because it is a must and in the final semester it carries marks.

Review of RGC - Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institution.

Placements: According to my knowledge, 60% of students got placed in computer science and engineering department. The annual package offered was around 1.5 to 3 LPA. Some students got seats through CET. It was around 70,000 for them. There were different branches in engineering, like mechanical, computer science, biomedical, civil engineering etc.

I have enjoyed my 4 years in RGIT, and I had the best time on campus.

Placements: I was in computer science student, and we had 2 sections. The highest strength is recorded in CSE followed by biomedical engineering. There were no placements in 2020 and 2021. I think it was due to covid-19 situation. Now, there might be placements from this year.

Dissatisfied with the off-course faculty and their behaviour.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. Sometimes, local business people visit the college to hire students. So they don't even conduct any placement drives. Whenever a company visit the college, they just go back without hiring any student. They organise a job fair which is useless, and this is a business trick to make money.

Absolutely dissatisfied by the Infrastructure of college,Good faculties and average Placements.

Placements: Placements for my batch has not yet started. But for my seniors batch the placements was held. And only 5 students were selected out of 60. The highest average salary was offered 3,00000 and the lowest was about 150000. The companies visited our campus for placements are Wipro, Infosys, IBM, and several other companies also. Different kinds of roles were offered to the selected members like Testing, Software development, Web desighee etc. There are no internships given to the students. And there...

The placements could have been better.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark compared to what is expected. The placement department could have worked out better to bring a lot of companies for recruitment. The placement was 20% during our tenure. Overall, I will rate less for the placement department. The placement department should know the current market requirements and train the students to make up for it so that the students will feel easy to crack the interviews.

It is fairly a good college, but do not take this as the first choice as there are some issues.

Placements: The placements are okay, but not that good. Less number of students were placed from the college. The highest salary was around 4.5 lacs p.a, and the lowest was 2.5 lacs p.a. Many companies visited like HCl and many others but offering technical support roles and hr roles for start-ups, developer roles were also there, but fewer students got placed. There is a placement cell, it works average, but not that effective. Many were jobless after completing the course.

Absolutely disagreeing with the college attitude.

Placements: It is a better college compared to some colleges but lacks good teachers. The placement depends on their talent, and now, they have started some job fair, and some good companies are coming. They are doing a good job.

It is an average college. Just visit and check before joining the college.

Placements: The placement in the college is not good. They will call lots of job fairs, but not a particular company, which is needed if you want to get a good placement. I suggest you don't join this college and look for the other colleges which are having good placements. The placement process is conducted in a good manner. They try to give placement to the students, but it is not happening. Also, they have started giving the placement training to the students.

A name not suitable for the college, don't think its a good college just because of its location.

Placements: The placement is near to zero in this college in the mechanical branch. In the name of placement, some BPOs might come and there were just 2 companies: 1. A merchant navy private company demanding 5 lacs from the student in the starting 2. IBM- They were hiring mostly for non-technical entries. As per the internship is concerned, the students have to find them themselves and the college won't help in finding one. This case has been continuing from my senior batches and graduating students have ...

Dissatisfied by the infrastructure, teaching and placements.

Placements: Placement was not there because they didn't had a placement officer. All were searching for a job after their academic year, especially the biomedical students. Later, IT companies came but the job role offered was of BPO. No other kind of job or internship was acquired by the students due to the lack of placement cell and its contact.

I am not happy with my college because they didn't provide placements and placement training.

Placements: No placements for mechanical. They are not providing any placement training also. Faculty members have very poor knowledge. No one got placed in 2016 from the mechanical branch. They will call some call centres like IBM. No core company for the mechanical branch. They are not giving any ideas regarding the placements and how to face the interviews and also not teaching any extra software like Catia Creo, which is very important for mechanical.

Dissatisfied with the placements of the college.

Placements: We were not happy at all by the placement cell of the college which was not putting the effort needed for the placements for the mechanical students. For our batch too, no mechanical companies came at the end of our semesters. The answer they gave after asking about the placements is that the mechanical market is tight and hardly any company is looking out for candidates these days.

I have completed BE in 2014 from this Institute. The management is really not good, they charge money for petty things like breakage fee. The teaching is nice as compared to the other colleges. The security is good, I would suggest this college to girls.

I just want to say about my college is that this experience add more skills and knowledge about the technical as well as non-technical. I really liked the management for their interest they take in student development activities and have a big vision. I wish them good luck and hope to see them grow big. The best thing about the collage is infrastructure and canteen facility which is very pleasant. Now come to about the faculty members. Faculty members of the collage is some are nice and other a...

There were people who got through L&T off campus.Rest got placed with average companies which you would have never heard of. The college lacks a good canteen, even basic amenities like toilets, libraries are not well maintained. The other non teaching staff are rude to you. JUST GO FOR IT, NO NEED TO THINK TWICE. Low fee structure and quality education.

Placements: Placement in our college is good. The placement team puts a lot of effort to ensure that all the students get placed in reputed companies. The college offers three major specialisation in MBA such as Marketing, HR and Finance. The package offered is healthy and the fee is comparatively low hence the return on investment is really good .

It is a good college, and the campus is calm.

Placements: There are no placements here, and our college won't help you with this. Our college may say that there will be high chances for placements, but it is not true. None of the reputed companies hires engineers from our college. In the previous year, some students were offered job offers with a salary package of only 1 LPA.
