The college is good and I hope it will reach your expectations

Placements: Providing good placements but has to improve. They are planning to provide good internships and placements. Companies are visiting the college to take skilled students and I hope the college will provide good placements in coming academic years for qualified and skilled students.

The college is very good with good infrastructure. Good sports facilities, a bold playground.

Placements: The placements are very rare but we have a chance to get placements in the college. Recently visiting companies are Tech Mahindra, HCL, Amazon, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest salary package is 8 LPA and the least package is 3.2 LPA by HCL.

The college is average with good placements.

Placements: The placement of our college is pretty good. They are giving training with additional cost from the 3rd year onwards. Some good companies like TCL and Tech Mahindra are coming and recruiting the students from all the departments as per their requirement based on the interview process. The placements for the branches other than IT are very poor. The college provides the internship; they will overlook the internships.

Satisfied with the infrastructure, the faculty, and the placements.

Placements: We can avail the placements, but only few can get placed. The college provides the placement training. The various companies visit the college to give placement opportunities. 20-30% of the students got placed. The roles offered to the students are a software developer, software tester, customer service.

A good college with poor infrastructure & faculty.

Placements: There is no scope of placements. No product based companies, only companies that want data entry jobs are there. The campus recruitment training is good but there is no scope. The companies coming to CMS are few. The companies that do take the students come and take a crowd of people.

Review of CMR College of Engineering and Technology

Placements: Firstly, they will give a confirmation of the job if you clear all your rounds completely. You shouldn't say all of it to your family that you got a job in a particular company because they may be no vacancies which was the problem with them. At first, everything looks like it was a great pleasure to join in the college but after getting into that, we come to know that it was the biggest sin we committed.

Placements are good, the campus is beautiful, and the infrastructure is good.

Placements: From the 4th year itself, the companies start to visit our college. There are companies like TechMahindra and Amazon which take students in bulk. If a student has above average aggregate and has good communication skills then it won't be difficult to get placed in an MNC.

Placements: Placements of our batch are quite good compared to our senior batch. Nearly 60 percent of students were placed in different companies with a good package in different kind of roles. Best college for computer science.

Placements: Placements are very good for main campus CMRK (Diamond block). Placements are held every year and many of our seniors got placed in top MNCs with a minimum package of rupees 3.1 lakhs per annum and the maximum depends on the company and students' ability of programming and skills. Around 40% of students get placed before the completion of the final year.

The best college in the next 2-3 years.

Placements: "Think CMR, Think Placements" was the caption of our college. As the caption describes, we have a great placement facility that no other college in that circle would have ever. On an average, 40% of each and every class of every stream will be placed in MNCs every academic year.

If you need a placement badly, then this is the college to be in.

Placements: The placements in our college were always good. Our seniors had been placed in the top MNC companies and we are also getting good companies. About 500 students have been placed in our college last year and 300 have been placed so far this year. The highest package would be around 8 lakhs/annum and the minimum would be 1.8 lakhs/annum. So far, companies such as Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, Hitachi, SAP, UXreactor etc have come to our college. The roles offered are software a...

Placements: The placements were good this year, a lot of people got placed from the college. It was better for our senior batch. Around 50% of the students were placed in the companies. Various companies like Tech Mahendra, Capgemini, IBM, Kony Labs, Amazon, Genpact have been to the college in the first quarter of 4-1. The roles offered were mostly of software engineers, assistant software engineers, tech support, customer support, seller support etc. The highest package was 14 lakhs/annum and the lowest wa...

Placements: CMR offers huge placements. Every year, around 70% of the people will get placed. The companies that come to our college will be from different streams in order to satisfy all the departments. The average pay will be 3.25 lakhs per annum. The maximum range will reach up to 20L per annum. I'm satisfied with my college and the placements.

Placements: The major advantage of CMR College of Engineering and Technology is the placements. The placement team in our college is well trained and professional. They encourage us and let us know each and every opportunity that is available to us. They show how the outer world is and make us know the importance of getting placed as soon as possible. The placement training will be given in our 3rd year 1st sem only. They send us to companies exams by well preparing us and send us with confidence. ...

Good infrastructure and okay placements.

Placements: Only limited companies come for campus hiring. Tech-M and Capgemini are the only companies which recruit in bulk. Previously companies like L&T and CSC used to come for the campus but don't the exact reason why they stopped recruiting. But anyway if you have talent, these opportunities are enough to get the job.

Not satisfied with the college. Below average.

Placements: CMR CET lacks in placements. Not a very good number of companies visit the college. Most of the jobs offered are BPO jobs for non-circuit branches (civil, mechanical). The average package offered is 1.5 lakhs per annum (includes all branches). No core companies (infrastructure, construction and civil engineering) visit the campus.

Placements: They take utmost care regarding placements as CMRCET is the main college and also is UGC autonomous in the entire CMR Group of colleges. Our seniors got a big set of product based and service based companies this year. The highest was Amazon with 13.5LPA and the lowest was Tech Mahindra with 3.5 LPA. The companies that visited our campus were Zensar, Tech Mahindra, FCS, CSC, Amazon, Kony Labs, Capgemini, Virtusa and IGate. The college is fully running on commercial basis. Lab facilities were okay but it includes very poor faculty. Faculty wise, it is not that much good of a institute. Common play ground for 5 group of colleges are present. College bus charges are very high. When it is concerned with money, only higher authority will give the response. Otherwise, they won't help you out. There's a very small library with less volumes.
