I will not recommend anyone to take admission in this college.

Placements: Placements are available for mainly three branches CS, IT and EE. Almost, 70-80% of the students get placed in many industries. HCL and Infosys are the mass recruiters. CS and IT are the branches which are placed in big companies like Dell, HCL, Infosys. The placements for branches other than CS, IT and EE, is average.

On a scale of 10, I will give it 4. The college needs to replace teachers with some qualified one.

Placements: Placement were good for Computer Science student. There were major start-ups based companies approaching the college. Only HCL was the one I have heard of before. Rest all were startup based companies offering 2-3 LPA. Tier is a placement cell which is operating normally in the campus.

There is a good college life.

Placements: The placements are quite okay. If you have adequate skills, then you can easily bag a good package as many companies with various packages visit the campus. There is a helpful training and placement cell in the college. Many companies visited the campus such as HCL, Robodude, Genpact, etc.

We are hoping something, from a new change in this college.

Placements: This semester, i.e., 2017-2018, a lot of CS companies visited the campus but mostly was service-based companies, but no product-based companies visited the campus. This year, a new IBM lab was made with high-end systems which are good for CS students. Apart from this, various communities like TRIAC and SAE are there for the technical growth of the students.

The college had outstanding placements and amazing college life.

Placements: Talking about the placements in the college, we can't neglect the location of the college, as the college is just 7 KM ahead of IIT Roorkee which is a great advantage to the students since the environment make it very competitive and full of opportunities. The placements are very good with the highest package of 14 LPA and an average package of 8 LPA. Various leading companies like HCL, Microsoft, Ashok Leyland, Adobe, Mercedes Benz, Qualcomm, Snapdeal, Flipkart regularly visit the college for t...

College of Engineering Roorkee can consider this if you want to spend your 4-years.

Placements: The placements are moderate this year. Most of the job profiles are management/marketing based. Some of the students got placed in the biggest startup like Think and Learn and Academia Guru. Some of the experience companies like HCL Technologies also recruited the top students.

COER college is giving core values.

Placements: The cover provides decent placement opportunities to every student. Talking about my batch, almost 85% of the batch is placed in reputed companies. The average package is also good for freshers. Some companies that recruited from COER college was- Byjus, HCL, Genpact, Emicon, etc.

Superb faculty, damn good infrastructure, and it is awarded as the best college of Uttarakhand.

Placements: The placement is quite good. But, it all depends on your marks. An individual should score a minimum of 60 to 70 percent for good placement. After that, a good company will offer you a good annual package within the same city. The highest package this year was 5 lac for a B.Tect student.

Okay with the limited opportunities.

Placements: I was the only one to get the placements in a core company by the time I left the college. I had to leave in between, as the company called me before the 8th semester. I heard that 2 more people got placement in Anchor switches. I secured a seat in AIS India glass, that too in pool campus at UIT. The placements are really pathetic. They do not even check the credibility of the company coming in for the placements. Had many fraudulent companies that visited our campus, can't say anything now.

The review by an MBA student of College of Engineering Roorkee.

Placements: The placements are decent. A few companies are interested to visit the college. Mostly, the students have to go for walk-in interviews with very less college support. So I will not suggest this college regarding the placements. If you are looking for a college which provides placements, go for some other.

The civil engineering placements are very poor.

Placements: The college had poor placements in the civil department. There is no one able enough to call up a company in the college. TPO officer is not serious about placements of civil engineering. Fake placement is well done in the college. Fake companies are called up to the college campus to record their best placements.

COER is well-known for discipline and quality education, but now the scenario is different.

Placements: In COER, CS recruiting companies gives the job opportunity. On the other hand, the other branches like civil or IT are popular. Electrical and mechanical are not having good placements. In electrical engineering, not too much higher recruiting companies are visiting the campus. Only computer science students are recruited just because there are only the companies for computer science and civil engineering. The electrical company did not want to take the students for a job, that's why they don't ...

There were good placements during the year 2017-2018.

Placements: The placements here have been slightly better than the previous batch. The CS placements here are better than any other branch as a lot of companies visit the campus, and the students here can also go for the pool campus placements. The highest salary offered this year was Rs. 5 Lakhs. The average salary offered here was around Rs. 1.5 Lakhs and the lowest was Rs. 1 Lakhs. Here, companies like HCL, Smartprix, Bhilwara, Rubico IT and others visited the campus. Students of the CS branch were also ...

Good placement for CS and IT. Nice infrastructure, okay faculty, and nice festivals.

Placements: Majority of the students get placed in Infosys, around 120-230. The average package offered in my time was 2lacs/annum. Many other small companies also came, mainly BPO. Other than that, Indian army and navy also recruit through college interviews. I hope this helps.

Don't keep high expectations. It is a normal college with no quality of education.

Placements: The placements for the civil branch is almost negligible. There are some companies which consider candidates from all branches for the placement process. The job profile is not related to civil in that case, and the package is maximum 2 LPA. So the placement for the previous years and this year 2018 is bad. The lowest package was 1.2 LPA. There is a cover placement committee which comprises of students from all years. The teaching staff who together carries out a placement drive and the arrangem...

It is a very good college because of its placement and studies with nice infrastructure.

Placements: The placement in the college is very good. Eligibility criteria for sitting in the interview is 60% or above. The companies like Infosys, HP and many different companies come for placement. The highest package given is 6 to 7 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 2 to 3 lacs per annum. There is a placement cell in college and giving a lot of support to students.

The college does not provide any placement opportunities to the students.

Placements: There is hardly 2 to 3% placement in civil engineering. They call low budget companies. Mostly fake companies come to the college. In my time 90% companies for civil engineering which they called were fake. If any company hires someone, it does not give call letter to him/ her later.
