Absolutely waste of money and time. Not satisfied with placement and infrastructure.

Faculty: No faculty members to teach us. We used to roam here and there because there was no faculty member to teach. Nothing was there to satisfy us. The behaviour of the staff was not good with the students. Principal had nothing to do with it. He used to remain in his own world.

Our college had good faculty members, but I am dissatisfied with placements.

Faculty: Teachers were good. They were supportive. We could go to them any time we wanted to clear up our problems or queries. Teachers were good, but they used to discriminate against students.

Apart from placements everything was good at Coimbatore Marine college.

Faculty: The faculty of the Coimbatore Marine College was good for our course. Teachers available in our course are experienced, and we'll be qualified at this college. They were using all their experience for the students development. The course curriculum was also relevant and made students industry-ready. Exams were not that hard to pass at this college for our course. Overall, the teaching quality was good enough at this college.

It's average. Nothing special.

Faculty: Faculty is good and it is IMU's syllabus, so nothing to complaint about that. There are a few sailors who teach in the senior years. Most of the main subject's staff are sailors with real experience. Semester exams are easy if you regularly study but if you pile it up for the end, it will be very difficult to pass the exams.

Reviewing Coimbatore Marine College.

Faculty: Mostly the faculty members of this college are sailors. Other than the sailing staff, a few senior professor are handling some subjects. The sailing staff shares their own experience which helps the students learn more about sailing and other details. Chief Engineer and Captain are handling marine papers which is very good to gain more knowledge and experience. This course is under IMU University, the syllabus and questions are prepared by IMU University only. The paper evaluation is very strict...

Our college placements are increasing.

Faculty: Our college teachers are excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 50%. Their teaching quality is average. It's not the best college out there, but it's good for the money.

B.Tech degree for low cost.

Faculty: Faculty members of Coimbatore Marine college: faculty members and couching are good. Even in online they tried their best. Many field experienced faculty members also taking classes. Almost all the core subject books are available in Library. Exams are conducted as per IMU circular.

Overall, the college is excellent.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are bad, but 70% of the faculty are superb. They teach in an excellent manner. The course curriculum is not relevant. It does not make the students ready for industry. Exams are tough. 90% of students pass the exams.

Placement is good teachers are polite and ready for work everytime they motivate us also.

Faculty: They will share the experience about sea life how is too tough to work onboard a ship they are motivating us many other programmes is also done by the college because they have motivated all the cadets to do work because sea life is very tough to work those who are working inland because for 6 months you are alone onboard a ship.

Placement opportunities are good.

Faculty: The teachers and professors in the college are helpful in some aspects, but mostly, we need to refer. The faculty members clarify all the doubts of students in the class itself. The teachers have a lot of experience which is very useful in this field. All the faculty members are knowledgeable and well-behaved.

The college is good, but getting on board ship is really difficult.

Faculty: Faculty members belonging to all departments like B.Sc. Nautical Science, B.Tech marine engineering, etc., are good. Faculty members and course curriculum are also good. B. Sc. is for 3 years. B. Tech is for 4 years. ETO is for 6 months. GME is for 1 year.

In short, we can say it's good college for the students who really wants to learn marine.

Faculty: The faculty members of this college are well-qualified, and they well experienced in merchant's vessels. Most of them are chief engineers having experience of more than 15-20 years, and they even have teaching experiences as well. They never-give-up teaching, and they try hard to give knowledge to the students in a better way.
