Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) - Batch of 2023

The infrastructure is really good and provides pretty good facilities.
Placements: We are the first batch so placement has not happened yet. All students got internships in different design-related firms, mainly in product design, interior design, graphic design and furniture design. One can get jobs related to any design-related roles.
Infrastructure: There are free Wi-Fi, computer labs, library, workshops, and a canteen. The hostel is neat and provides food 4 times a day. The food is okay there. The college supports extra curricular activities and encourages both genders to participate in all the sports items. The sports team is pretty strong.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are good compared to others. The initial year it offers what design is in general, mainly various fields in design. This is helpful because students will get an idea of what fields they can get into. Even after specializing in a particular design for their bachelor's, one can pursue any design career of their dreams. The course offers internships, which I personally think make students know what a real-life work environment will be like. Overall the theory subjects are very few. So I think it's quite easy to pass the subjects. You will need minimum 45 percentage to pass a subject.
Other: It's is a creative field. There is more practical knowledge than theory. The work-life balance could be better for the course. The college programs are nice, we could showcase our talents and mingle with students.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2020

There are a really good infrastructure and good academics.
Placements: Some of the students started their own firms, and mostly all students get placed. Other students opted for post-graduation courses in India and outside of India also. Our college also participated in programs like Nasa, etc. Other educational programs are also available. It's really a good college.
Infrastructure: Our college is good in infrastructure. Hostels are also clean and good. Hostels are provided with basic amenities like a TV, fridge, iron box and washing machine also. A gym is also provided inside both hostels. There is a good canteen and good food. The campus is very clean.
Faculty: Teachers here are good and behave very friendly around campus. The course is also good and tough. It is a highly creative field, and mostly semester exams are easy. The course curriculum is also good, and the teaching quality is very much good. The teacher to student interaction is also good.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2026

The college ranks number 1 among the private architecture colleges in Kerala.
Placements: There are no placements provided by the college. The students have to find the companies themselves. The students are also in need to go for an internship in the 7th semester in which they have to make their own portfolio and search for firms to work at.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure in terms of its building. Free Wi-Fi is provided to all the students and the faculty members. Large classrooms with separate space for regular classes and studio works are provided. Library and other labs for research are also available in the college. The hostel is also fine with its infrastructure and necessities. Food is fine with the students but some days its not so good. Sports are also supported on a daily basis. Multiple courts and a ground are provided for football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are all qualified with their degrees and most of them have secured their Masters which helps the students in getting better knowledge in what they are studying. All the teachers are available for discussions. The curriculum is fine in its process but there is a lack of student exposure in some areas like site visits, study tours, etc. The exams are neither quite easy nor that hard to pass.
Other: The course is suitable for those who are interested in creating and renewing a space with their own ideas. It helps in improving the students' creative mind.

Good college having very nice facilities.
Placements: From the last batch, only below 10% students were placed immediately after completing the course. The packages offered were between 15000 to 30000 as we are beginners. Many of them got internships from this course, some went to abroad while the others went to Bangalore, etc. Interior, product, fashion, etc. are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi available in the college is good along with a good library. This department is separate from the architecture department, so the building’s work is not completed yet. Hostel is good having a good warden and a beautiful atmosphere. The food is a big problem but has a bad taste at times. Medical facilities are available in the college.
Faculty: The teaching quality is totally okay. Some teachers are not good at teaching, but overall, it is okay. I don't think this curriculum helps the interior designing students. But for product design, it is good. Semester exams are not that difficult. If you are an average student, make sure you pass the jury so you can confirm that you have passed the semester. The main exam is the jury. The semester exams have only 1/2 of the theory subjects.
Other: I want to do interior designing but I can't afford to go outside Kerala so I took this course in this college. It makes me excited to do interior designing. The teaching method should improve. As freshers in interior design, we need better teaching quality and knowledge.
