    Q:   Is College of Commerce, Art and Science good for B.Com?

    A:
    {Source: B.Com students & alumni}

    Answer:

    Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, with well-maintained classrooms, libraries, and facilities. Some students mentioned that the classrooms are big, while others noted that the library has a limited collection of books.

    Teaching Quality: The majority of students praised the teaching quality, saying that the professors are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful. Some students mentioned that the teachers are experienced, while others felt that the curriculum could be updated to reflect industry standards.

    Placements: Unfortunately, the college's placement record is disappointing. Few students reported receiving placements, and those who did received relatively low salaries (INR 15,000 - 90,000 per month).

    Curriculum Relevance: While some students felt that the course curriculum is relevant and prepares them for the industry, others believed that it needs improvement to cover contemporary topics and trends.

    Events and Extracurricular Activities: The college organizes occasional cultural festivals, sports events, and webinars, but students reported that these are not frequent or well-publicized.

    Facilities: Although the college does not offer hostel facilities, some students praised the availability of Wi-Fi, gyms, and canteens. Others noted that medical facilities are limited, and the quality of food varies.

    Overall Assessment: Based on student feedback, the college has a decent infrastructure, good teaching quality, and limited placement opportunities. While some students report positive experiences, others expressed disappointment with the placement record and curriculum relevance.

    Recommendation: If you're considering enrolling in B.Com at College of Commerce, Art and Science, weigh the pros and cons carefully. Consider visiting the campus, meeting with professors, and researching the college's performance in recent years. Additionally, explore alternative options that might better align with your academic and professional goals.

    Q:   How effective is the placement cell for B.Com courses at College of Commerce, Art and Science?

    A:
    {Source: B.Com students & alumni}

    Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Com Courses at College of Commerce, Art and Science

    Unfortunately, according to student reviews and testimonials, the College of Commerce, Art and Science does not have a dedicated placement cell specifically for B.Com courses. Many students mentioned that they have to find placements on their own, relying on personal connections and networking.

    Here's what students had to say:

    * "Students have to get placements on their own. maybe in future, our college will build up a placement cell." (Student)
    * "Companies don't come to our campus to select students. But this college provides a lot of skills which help you to get placed or help you to take higher education." (Student)

    It appears that while the college may offer some guidance and resources, it does not actively facilitate placements for B.Com students. Therefore, students must rely on their own efforts to secure employment opportunities.

    However, some students did mention that the college prepares students for placements by providing a relevant curriculum and industry-readiness training:

    * "Its [the] course curriculum is relevant, and it covers the national level standard curriculum, and students make industry-ready." (Student)

    Overall, the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.Com courses at the College of Commerce, Art and Science seems limited, and students are largely responsible for securing their own placements.

    Review of College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Magadh University.
    Placements: I am satisfied with this college because it offers 30–35% placement for students, and the highest package is INR 7 lakh per annum and the lowest package is INR 3 lakh per annum. Most students get internships at places like Isro and other organizations. And top companies are offering jobs in my college.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The library is provided at my college, and it is well structured. It has sufficient books and magazines. In classrooms, fans are provided, and ventilators are also in every class. Wi-Fi is also provided. This is the best environment for studying.
    Faculty: In my college, every teacher is experienced and supportive of students. The passing mark of our course in the yearly exam is 35. The course curriculum is relevant. Passing the exams is not so difficult if students study sincerely for 3 months.
    Other: Cultural programme is organised in my campus.

    It is a good college if you want to get a degree as well as practical experience.
    Placements: There are no placements. You can get a degree. No internships are offered. They do not provide placements, whether you are talented or not.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine. It has a library in working condition with books. The hostel is average. Classrooms are spacious. Wi-Fi is also available. There is a canteen. There is a volleyball court.
    Faculty: Semester exams are hard, but they can be passed by studying properly. Faculty members here are experts and experienced people. They are friendly. Courses are finished on time.
    Other: I chose B.Com. to have practical knowledge and money management skills with some ethics. A B.Com. degree will never let you be a jobless person. Regular fests are organised with proper management.

    Our college is one of the best colleges.
    Placements: In our college, about 800 students were placed in Tata and Mahindra. Some students were placed in Mahindra Finance and many other finance groups. The salary package offered was from 1.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruitment was done by insurance companies. Many students got internships and were also selected for interviews.
    Infrastructure: In our college, classrooms were huge with a capacity to hold 500 students. Wi-Fi was available in normal classrooms and smart classrooms. There was a library where all the course-related books were available. Books can be taken for reading but we have to return them before 30 days. The hostel facility was quite impressive. The food was adjustable. There was a canteen and a medical room on campus. Students who excelled in sports activities were also chosen from this college for state competitions.
    Faculty: In our college, all teachers were qualified. They were Ph.D. holders. The quality of teaching was quite impressive. Any student who attended regular classes could score more than 80%. This course was quite good because there was a good chance for placements in this college. Exams were simple for good students. If you study well, 75% can be easily achieved.
    Other: This course was easy for me because I dreamt of getting selected for the banking sector. The best thing was that I scored 79% and I am happy with it. Some improvement was needed in the time duration. Sometimes, the university takes 3.5 years to complete. This must be improved. Events, fests, many sports activities, and cultural programs also take place at regular intervals.
