A good place to do MBA in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: The placements are good, as in, 30 out of 60 students get selected in the campus. Students have to make efforts to bring in companies for recruitment. Industrial relations department of Anna University takes care of placements. They even provide internship opportunities.

Best knowledge park to improve oneself.

Placements: Assured 90% placements in Anna University. Our campus placement cell bring all the top companies such as Google, Microsoft, Ebay, so on and core companies. Also our placement cell will conduct the guidance programme for the student. The companies usually offer the Techie role.

Good infrastructure but dissatisfied with academic administration.

Placements: Top companies will visit the college. The salary packages are good. The students can try for the placements only if their profile is all clear with a decent CGPA. The students are not given proper training before entering into the placements. Overall, the placements are good if we have a good profile with a good CGPA.

The faculty and the infrastructure of the college are awesome.

Placements: The placements are not better than before. The scope for engineering jobs is down nowadays. Only few core companies have arrived for recruitment and selected few students only. The placements are average. University must take steps to increase the placement opportunities for all the departments. Preplacement training should be followed strictly.

Really good college, faculty. Amazing infrastructure and good facilities.

Placements: The placements in the college are very good. The department of printing technology offers a minimum package of 3 LPA while the highest can be up to 10-11 LPA, depending on the student. Printing technology offers 90-100% placement, and my seniors have got placed in good companies like ITC, The Hindu, Infosys, etc. The average salary package is 3-4 LPA. The students are offered jobs in marketing, core and IT sector. Internships depend on the students, but departments help the student to get the im...

The package range was around 4-7 LPA. 100% placements were achieved. The roles of a data analyst, supply chain, industrial engineer, etc. were offered.

The outstanding placements, best faculty and infrastructure. Wonderful environment for studies.

Placements: The placements are outstanding in CEG, Anna University. Various companies such as Microsoft, Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart and much more visit our college with a huge salary package of 20 LPA-28 LPA. Several other companies also come to the campus with a salary package ranging from 3 LPA - 20 LPA. Almost 50-80% of the UG and PG students get placed. The internships are based on students academic performance in addition to the company's written test.

CEG - One dream place for most of the students

Placements: Placements started with Microsoft's arrival. Many companies like Amazon, Paypal, Gigamonn, Zoho, Adobe, Samsung, Infosys R&D, etc. visited. The highest pay was about 28 lakhs per annum. There were bulk placements too from TCS, CTS and Infosys. A few companies offered the internship. The highest stipend was 50,000 per month for two months. A good campus where you can be exposed to various cultures and can develop as a person.

Placements: Both IT sectors and core relevant companies provide opportunities for our department. Through the college seniors have approached many core companies and they do get average salaries and a few get high salaries. There are student placement coordinators to carry forward all activities. The stipend allowance ranges between 10k and 25k on an average. Companies provide salary packages from 3 lakhs to 10 lakhs per annum. Some students aren't interested in placements and if 60% students in the college...

Life has no end points. Just start with CEG Anna University.

Placements: The placement is good. We have at least fifteen to twenty core companies and fifty to sixty IT companies. There were management companies for on-campus interviews. You can use CEG brand for off-campus interviews. CUIC is working very hard making the students' future bright. One thing is you have to be serious about the placements.

The placements are really good and the knowledge that we gain is very good.

Placements: I got placed at an analytics company. The placements that come every year are really great and a lot of students get a wide range of opportunities to get placed in their dream companies. Being the top engineering college and for the name that it has, most of the companies come into CEG and recruit a lot of candidates. Also, many students get a pre-placement offer while they are still undergoing their undergraduate program during their internship period.

Placements: Only 7 candidates were placed in the core and a half of the class was placed in IT companies since we have dual placement. Core companies like LnT, Afcon, Wabag and Coramendal came. The highest salary offered by them is 7 lakh/annum. In IT, we got TCS, CTS, Accenture, Infosys and IBM with an average package of 3 lakh/annum.

Absolutely satisfied with everything here.

Placements: I would say that the placement was above average in my batch. If you are patient enough, you would land up in a good company. Right from the lowest to the top companies had visited the college for placements, and there were lots of preferences to the guys with higher CGPA, which could have been avoided. The salaries offered would range from 3 LPA to 15 LPA. The companies right from Aricent, Accenture and IBM to Microsoft and Amazon had visited the campus.

My college which I never want to miss.

Placements: The placement has two phases: one is core companies and the other is a bulk drive. The bulk drive consists of IT companies like TCS, CTS, and Infosys. The placement was not bad but it is not up to mark as the previous placement. The salary ranges from 13 LPA in management companies to 3.3 LPA in bulk drives for my department. The students were offered with Junior Engineer roles. The internship is not compulsory for the other departments but for us, one-month industrial training is compulsory. ...

I am a post-graduate student with the specialisation: Power electronics and drives. After IITs and NITs, this college could be a really good option to choose from (BITS Pilani or VIT Chennai not considered because they are expensive institutions) I choose this college after elaborate discussion with many people,(friends and teachers) . The most impressive factor of this college is the amount of importance it gives to its laboratories and its features and constant updating. In my department for m...
