Really good campus with good infrastructure, facilities and faculty members.

Placements: I was a 2020 batch graduate. At that time campus placements were not there due to Covid. But still many students tried out of the college and got placed in that year itself. Many were placed in TCS, Infosys, cognizant, Accenture and also smaller companies too. Our college provided many internships for our job guidance.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Calicut.

Placements: Placement rates are higher in the college. There have been many placement drives since the 4th year has started. Most of the talented students get placed easily in many good companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. The college provides good care in conducting placement drives online. Most of the students have done internships, but the companies are not common.

Effective placement cell, good Infrastructure, good quality teaching.

Placements: Our college has an effective placement cell. Around 60 students got placed in different organisations such as Wipro, ULTCS, TCS. Most of the companies were related to IT field. The salary package provided were in the range 20,000- 50,000. As part of academics most of the students successfully completed their internship in different organisations related to their trade.

A review of College of Engineering Vadakara. A silent atmosphere in college.

Placements: There are regular visits from IT companies for recruitment. So, many students get jobs through these placement drives. Faculties do their best to bring companies to the college. There was a significant increase in the number of placements from college every year.

Good support from our institution

Placements: We have less placements nowadays. Electronics and communication, and electrical and electronics streams get more placements. Almost 20% of students get placements. Till this year, no one has gone jobless who have passed out from our college (as per the information shared by our teachers). Our super seniors started a startup which helps us by giving a temporary job or a permanent job. There will be a chance to increase the placement because our college is now under KTU (we had an NAAC affiliation...

If you need good placements and good classes, don't take admission here.

Placements: Placements were very less for our college. When I was in the final year, only 1 company visited i.e. IBS. A total of 5 students got placed after the interview and all the students offered 15000 per month for the first 3 months. After that, they will get 3 lakhs per annum. They are selected for the role of a software developer. Nobody here got the internship. the interview held is only useful for the computer science/IT people as they got more exposure. But other branches didn't get any core job ...

A bit of a disappointment with lots of nice memories and college life.

Placements: Actually, when it comes to placements, the college officials tell that we have quite a lot of placements. But that is not the truth. Rarely three or four companies have visited our college for placements when I was studying. Apart from that, due to the presence of a placement cell in the college, we were regularly notified of the placement drives or pool drives that are happening in different colleges for which we can participate.

A pretty average college.

Placements: Few companies come here for placement. They will select you if you have good core knowledge and have a good grasp of the subject. The companies are mostly IT companies which is a disadvantage. The number of companies which come is comparatively low. There will be better salary packages available outside than the opportunities available from this college.

Like any other IHRD college. Not getting enough attention from the government. Faculty is average. Location is not easily accessible. The college is not very far from the town but conveyance is a problem. The nearest bust stop is at least 2 km away and it is very difficult to walk that distance since it is a hilly region. There is a college ground, gym and table tennis. The faculty is not great. Permanent staff are good but there is a huge number of temporary faculty with not great experience. T...
