Our campus has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In the 8th semester, UG students are offered RAWEP (Rural Awareness Work Experience Program) where they have to work with farmers at research stations of the university. Students get a certain amount of stipend every month.
Infrastructure: College of Horticulture, Nalbari is located 50 km away from Guwahati. Currently, it is functioning within the university campus. Our college and hostel are provided with good Wi-Fi service. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners and the library functions from 8 am to 8 pm. The infrastructure of hostels is good. Rooms in the hostel are shared by 2 students. The food served in the mess is average with a monthly fee of Rs.1800. There is a medical unit where you can consult any medical problem. The campus comes with a big football ground, basketball court, swimming pool, and gymnasium.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and helpful. The class starts at 8 am and ends at 4 pm with 2 theory classes and 2 practical classes. The theory class lasts for an hour and the practical session lasts for 2 hours. Lunch break between 12:30 pm and 2 pm. There are semester-wise exams that are average and most students pass with good marks.
Other: Our campus is huge and filled with greenery. Various programs, events, and fests are conducted occasionally. Merit scholarships are provided for students who scored more than 7 GPA.

I am very satisfied to be a part of this college.
Placements: This college was started in the year of 2014. Our college offers Rahwep program in the final year. Almost 25% of students get internships abroad, and they have 25 selected students in each batch.
Infrastructure: Everything is available in this college like laboratories, Wi-Fi, classrooms, air-conditioner, and library. Fast food along with rice plate is available in our canteen. There is a great opportunity in sports including table tennis, badminton, cricket, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum includes all the sectors including agriculture engineering, genetics, pathology, agronomy, animal husbandry, soil science, fruit science, vegetable science, etc. The semester exams are difficult but if students understand the basics then they can easily answer every question. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Since childhood, I was interested in this course and I got a seat in that course. I want to develop the farm community as they are the primary need that serves the country and also contributes to the economy of the country.
