College of Horticulture, Pune - is the best college in Maharashtra.
Placements: In our college, most of the students prepare for competitive exams so students are not interested in placements. There is no placements in the last 3 years. Students want to have a career in government jobs and not in the private sector. Placements are done in past years in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college was established in 1907. Our college building is very good and historic. Classrooms are very good and well ventilation. There is a very big library in our college and it has a very peaceful environment. There are 5 hostel buildings in our college. Good drinking water facilities are provided.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach in a very well manner. They teach practicals by doing practicals in the lab/field. Semester end examination is conducted in a very smooth manner. For passing, 50% marks are required for passing the examination.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest to do work in agriculture.

One of the best institute for horticulture studies in Maharashtra .
Placements: Most of the students prepare for competitive exams. That's why students not take any placement from college. There is not any placement committee in college. If you want to take placement from college you should have contact with college dean committee for inviting companies.
Infrastructure: One of the largest agriculture institute of Maharashtra. All facilities are present like hostel, library, canteen, gym, play ground. College building is historical and established in 1907. New building called century building established in 2007 by honorable President Pratibhatai patil. In the presence of hon. Sharad Pawar, hon. CM Vilasrav deshmukh.
Faculty: Professors staff are very highly experienced. Curriculum included the various subjects of agricultural. Like soil Science, agronomy, meteorology, pathology, agriculture engineering, dairy Science, entomology, horticulture, extension education, etc.
