Faculty members are good, but hostel rooms need to be increase a lot .
Placements: Our college has a very good environment for studying, as it provides two huge libraries, one of which has AC. The hostel is also good, but not the best. Patient flow is moderate but less than at 5 colleges in Kolkata. The advantage is that it is in the suburbs of Kolkata, so you will be well connected to the metropolitan area. Professors are good and often give punishments, like in school, if homework is not done. Bad news for those who bunk classes: it strictly enforces a 75% attendance requirement, so be regular. And before coming for MBBS, keep your prestige at home; otherwise, it will be thrown out by the professors during viva. During the 4.5 years, there are countless vivas.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good, but more rooms need to be added; currently, there are 2 students per room. Labs are well-equipped with the latest equipment. There are 2 huge libraries, one of which has AC and free Wi-Fi. Food is available at 3 canteens with a wide variety of food items. Unfortunately, we don't have any playing grounds, so there are only indoor activities and some outdoor options like badminton. Patient flow is moderate.
Faculty: Yes, faculty members are all the same in all the medical colleges in West Bengal, as they are in rotation. All are well qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Some are of a soft nature, and some are strict. Our MBBS course has both theoretical and practical aspects, which our institute fulfills. Semisters are on the hard side. It is very difficult to pass.
Other: MBBS is the course that makes you a doctor, capable of helping people in times of need when nothing else can. We have many events each year, such as freshmen's events, fests, academic fests, quizzes, and more. Connectivity is good as it is closest to Kolkata. The scholarship provided by the government is very nice, ranging from 30k to 60k each year.

Review of college of medicine and sagoredutta hospital by a student of 2 St proff MBBS.
Placements: 125 students were admitted. The highest package was not mentioned, but all of them will get a 1-year internship where they will receive 4.2 LPA. West Bengal University of Health Sciences offers internships for 1 year. Doctors in MBBS, MD, and DNB also offer nursing.
Infrastructure: Above average, at first you have to stay in dorms for 1 month with your batchmates, and then the authority will allot you a specific room where you have to share it with your 2 batchmates, and then comes the food, which is average 24 food is not available.
Faculty: The faculty are really good; they will help you with every detail and are always kind and polite. You can ask any of your doubts to your teacher. There is a good practical lab with all the necessary facilities where practical work is done. Semesters are not so hard.
Other: The best medical college on the periphery of Kolkata.

A good medical college established around 2010 on the outskirts of Kolkata.
Placements: Out of 125 students, 70 get house staff positions in the hospital affiliated with the college and manage to clear their NEET PG exams. The stipend is around 70k per month, starting for 6 months and extending up to 2 years, after which the position ends. A 1-year rotatory internship is mandatory after 4.5 years of MBBS.
Infrastructure: The facilities here are good, with everything needed except a gym and a playground. The campus size is average. Hostels have two students per room with a common bathroom maintained hygienically. First-year students live in dorms initially. Indoor game facilities include table tennis, boxing, and carrom. Wi-Fi is not available. The academic building is well-equipped with all NMC-required facilities, including labs, a library, and lecture theaters.
Faculty: The professors are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with some having excellent pedagogical skills. The MBBS curriculum is relevant and prepares students well for a medical career. Semesters are manageable if you study, and most students pass.
Other: The college hosts many events throughout the year, such as academic fests, cultural fests, convocation ceremonies, and freshers' parties. It has good connectivity with Kolkata, allowing you to reach anywhere in the city in under 30 minutes. The campus size is small compared to other medical colleges.

Review of Sagar Dutta Medical College And Hospital, Kolkata.
Placements: We get an internship for a year. Then, it is on us what we want to do, either to opt for further studies or work in various hospitals and medical institutions. We can also take up a private practice. The medical field is not about jobs, more about serving people and treating. So, if we are ready to serve, then we find ways to. During internships in college, it is rotatory. We get experience from all major fields of medical sciences. We get exposed to rural areas in community medicine.
Infrastructure: We have a 500 bedded multi-speciality hospital. As it is a government setup, we get all facilities at a nominal price. We have a central library as well as departmental libraries. We do have state-of-the-art labs for para-clinical subjects. There are well-maintained labs for pre-clinical ones. Not to mention the hospital for the clinical practice. We even have a very busy OPD schedule.
Faculty: Every year, almost 100 students join via NEET UG. The teachers are very friendly, yet strict to maintain the quality of education. For theory classes, all the students attend the class together. For practicals, two groups are made. Whereas in the wards, students are divided into three groups. So, we can say that student-faculty is good.
Other: A fest and a fresher's party are conducted in our college.

Average College and Infrastructure.
Placements: We have 125 students in our Batch. It is quite fine as compared to other colleges which may have batch size up to 250. Instruments and Cadavers are up to the mark and adequate according to batch size. A compulsory Internship has to be done by every student by serving in Hospital. You get a stipend also there.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are okay. Some are non-AC while some are AC. There is a medium sized library with plenty of books and Wi-fi available in Library. The Hostel is Average. You get a Dormitory in first year and then double seater rooms. Canteen food is also fine. There is no as such Sports and Games provided by the college but students engage in sports themselves.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and very well qualified. But most of them will communicate in the local language so it is difficult for students from outside the state to catch up. The semester exams are average-level difficult. They make you ready for Professional exams.
Other: Fests are a total blast here. It's the best time of the year honestly. Then some more events so happen throughout the year. The college is just 3 km away from the Metro station so it's connected to other areas well. The surroundings won't offer you much. There's no Recreational place nearby. You may find 2-3 okay eating outlets nearby.
