Faculty is good in this college.

Placements: In this college, approximately 60% of students are placed. In Mining and Agriculture Engineering, there is approximately 100% placement. Students get internships through their own efforts. The college does not help in getting internships from its own campus.

Decent Placements and Good campus life.

Placements: This college has excellent placements in the mining branch (15 LPA, approximately). Other branches with decent placements are CSE, EE, and ME. The average package varies from 4.5 to 4.75 LPA. Vedanta, Hindustan Zinc, and Securemeter are major recruiters. In CSE, 40 students, in EE, 40 to 45 students, and in ME, 15 students got placed. ME has only 24 students, out of which 15 got placed with packages ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. The mining branch has 25 students, out of whom 16 got placed.

My experience as a student at the College of Technology and Engineering.

Placements: The placements at CTAE seem average to me. Every year, numerous recruitments occur, but, in my opinion, the offered packages are not satisfactory. Companies such as Adani, TCS, Secure Meter, Arcgate, and Pyrotech visit for recruiting both for placements and internship opportunities.

It is an average college.

Placements: The placement record of the CSE course is not much good. Our college provides good placements for the electrical course. A student got placed with a salary package of 23 LPA. Our college does not provide good placements for the agricultural branch. It provides the best placements for the mining branch.

It is a very good college.

Placements: Only a few top companies visit our college for recruitment. The average salary packages are very low. Our college does not provide any internships and summer training in reputed companies. Students have to do it on their own. A few companies visit our college in the final year only.

Dissatisfied with the internships as it does not provide good ones.

Placements: 70-80 % students get placed and the placements are improving every year the average package is 5.5lac per annum and the lowest goes down to 3.5lac. Good internships are not provided to the students they have to do it on there own. Top roles offered is the engineer.

Our college is good for further plans.

Placements: Low performance in the placements. Jobs offered are not worth the tasks and assignments. This gives us insight into the lack of value for money. The highest salary package was 14 LPA and the lowest salary package was 2.4 LPA.

It has a good reputation but average placements.

Placements: 90% of students get placed in companies but do not expect higher packages compared to IITs as it is a government college. But it is a good college because it is NBA accredited, and the packages are not bad. It can be seen as a good college compared to a private college degree value.

I have a good experience, but I am dissatisfied with placements in 2019.

Placements: Only 10% of the students got placed in this college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA by Hindustan Zinc, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. Very few companies visit our college like Secure Meters Ltd, Hindustan Zinc, etc. Most of the students go for pool drives of other colleges because this college doesn't approach companies for placements. They also make fake reports of placements. They hide the actual data and send the wro...

College is fine until and unless you have an ardent desire to move ahead and learn on your own.

Placements: Almost 60% students got placed until the lockdown. There were many recruiting companies such as argusoft, metacube, hsbc. Maximum of them offered software developer role and backed developer. Mini orange hired for front end developer. Max salary 8lpa, min salary 3lpa was offered.

Infrastructure can be better, placement are good, but extracurricular should be increased.

Placements: 55% is the placement record. 8.2LPA is the salary range offered. Hzl, wipro, tcs, secure meter are the top recruiters. The highest package is 21 lacs offered to our course. 89% got internship offers. If we look at the analysis the data is not too bad it is considerable now. Internship are also available in Malaysia thailand internationally. The toppers get the chance to be there.

It is one of the top colleges for agriculture and mining course. For other branches, it is average.

Placements: Placements record of our college other than agriculture and mining course are not that much good. Not everyone gets placed here. Every year 4-5 students get placed in companies like Hindustan Zinc and Vedanta with an average salary package of 4.5 LPA. But if you are from agriculture or mining course, then the salary package offered ranges between 7.5- 8 LPA. Mostly all the student prefer GATE exams or PSU over campus placements.

The infrastructure of the college is good but dissatisfied with college placements.

Placements: The college doesn't provide good placements for electronics branch. Placements were good 2-3 years ago, but in the last two years, only 6-7 students out of 45 got placements. Moreover, the highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Companies like Secure Meters, YMPL, Bosch, and some software companies visited our campus for placements of electronics branch. The college provides internship offers in various IITs and NITs under some good professors.

If you want to gain knowledge, you have to do it on your own with self-motivation.

Placements: Almost 5 to 6 students got placed in Vedanta from the civil branch. There were very few companies to provide placements for the civil branch last year. Vedanta offered a salary package of 8 LPA. They conducted personal interviews and written exams to select the candidates. The college has its own placement cell, and it is very effective. Other students also got placed but not through college placements.

The college is excellent regarding its infrastructure, but they need to improve their guest faculty.

Placements: There are 7 students in my batch who have been selected in the placement drives. Around 3 students out of those 7 students were placed in YMPL, and the rest of the 4 are in TCS. Some companies are going to visit the campus for placements, and I hope most of my batchmates get placed. I am from the ECE stream, and only 1 core company that is related to our branch visited the campus for placements, and this might be the reason for the low placement rate of our branch. As the other companies that vi...
