Review of D.A.V. College.
Placements: Around 30% of students were placed. The highest salary package is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1.5 LPA. Companies that visit are not good. Around 30% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi available is 1 Gbpd, labs are quite average, classrooms are average, and the library is big but books are not new. Everything is good like food, sports, games, medical facilities, and a canteen with many food items. Rooms are good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course is not good for a government job. Exams are quite tough. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to opt M.Sc. Maths. The syllabus is quite big. Everything is good.

Infrastructure good, helpful teachers, high recruitment, average placements.
Placements: Only 23 students were placed in my course, the highest package is up to Rs. 1,90,000 PA.
And the lowest 60,000 PA.
Recruiters are like in pharma industries and life sciences based, fishery, dairy production on large scale industries. Top roles offered in this programme are manufacturer chemist, lecturer, etc.
Infrastructure: Have Wi-Fi but I never got to know the password.
Library has new fully computer based system.
Hostel food quality is good.
Everyday meals are changed and they did serve well in hygienic way. Blood camp, medical, sports, canteen, all facility and activity are available here.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, they explained repeatedly if asked again and again.
They made students ready for competition.
Semester exams are never much difficult because we learn the whole syllabus and practice. Teachers always make sure students learn in new exploring way.
Other: Science fest held in Feb is just fun. I love being part of DAV.

Almost Satisfaction and the worst Experience of this college.
Placements: Honestly, not much placements are offered in this college, especially for our course B.Sc. In computer Science). Only about 2-3 courses will be there in our college which get placements continuously I. e B.Com BCA BBA etc. The placements are offered by less known companies and packages are also average or sometimes below average.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure of our course, then I would say it is the worst. Emphasis is given only on theoretical studies. No one care about practical experience there. Scheduling of our all the lectures of the course is even worse. Now if we talk about the hostels of our college, then feels is higher with poor infrastructure.
Faculty: Only about 2% of the faculty of our college is helping towards the students otherwise rest of the faculty generally don't care about students. For the preparation of the upcoming exams, house tests ( MST - mid semester tests ) have been organised every semester, which is pretty good idea for the preparation of exams.
Other: Honesty I made a mistake by choosing this course in this college. The worst thing is the schedule and timings of our lectures of this course. It becomes very tough for the students who come to college from far away. They always miss their lectures just because of the poor schedule of the course.

I enjoyed this college life and environment very much. I am proud to be part of this college.
Placements: Most of the top companies like Wipro select students for the different profiles. Most of the students got placed in different companies with good packages. Students were placed as a developer, designers in different companies, and got selected for role internships also.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was well developed and updated. Multiple laboratories with all advanced computers with the latest configurations. Proper internet facilities with good uploading and downloading speed. Other sports and curriculum activities-related facilities were on the point.
Faculty: All the teachers were helpful during the study period as well as in exam time. All were well educated and experienced with their field and subject. They also provide general life lessons along with personal development. They guide students on the other subjects also.
Other: I opted for this course, because I want to develop an app.

The college had good placements in the last few years.
Placements: DAV College conducts a bundle of placement drives, both on-campus and off-campus. Each year, a bunch of people gets selected for one or multiple job profiles. Not only this, our college also provides demo placement drives and numerous workshops that help students to be prepared before real drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is a little old as the college is very old, but a few blocks are fully furnished as they are recently renovated. Free Wi-Fi access is available on the whole campus. Labs are well-equipped, but they can be improved. Classrooms are big and have proper ventilation, which adds to a good atmosphere inside classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers in DAV College are the best. There are highly trained staff and are always ready to help and support students in the best way they can. Teaching quality is good, and that is the best thing about this college. They provide every sort of help that is required.
